It's a great place to grab coffee and hang out, work, or hold meetings with large groups. The desserts are amazing. And the coffee is very good too. The outdoor area is also very comfortable, even in the rain.

The atmosphere is nice. You can buy any of the decorations, they are a bit pricey but nice. The drinks, artesian beer, the food are all good. Good service too. Except the loud blender, it is hard to have a conversation. It's way too loud!!

Very calm place. The owner (short woman) is amazing. Truly. All the baristas/servers VERY attentive. Good place to meet for a quite coffee. They serve beer on tap (artisinal) , the coffee is very high quality but not as good as last year.

This is a beautiful coffeee spot in downtown. The food was excellent, the place is very cosy and they sell hand made products that are very nice! They also are pet friendly. You can dine indoors or outdoors too!

El lugar es lindo, aunque tiene algunos detalles de mantenimiento y limpieza. El café está rico y bien servido, el Cheesecake es en frío y la textura no era la indicada, colocan flores comestibles de decoración, pero las nuestras eran de ajo 😵‍💫 La atención no es buena, la chica parecía molesta y dan por hecho que la gente los conoce, no se dan el tiempo de explicar y ser amables. Pero, es un lugar que sí vale la pena ir para disfrutar de un café

Excelente lugar para convivir con tus amistades, familiares, etc. La ambientación hace de este lugar un espacio cálido y acogedor. Un establecimiento que acepta la entrada de mascotas o bicicletas. En el área de barra fría y caliente excelentes opciones, para todos los gustos y bolsillos. En el área de alimentos preparados, bien por lo regular sin llegar a ser excelente, limpieza e higiene en la preparación de los alimentos sin nada que objetar. Falta mejorar su forma de realizar los emplatados, esa sensación que nace de la vista al mirar el platillo a degustar, sin embargo, el sabor y textura de los alimentos compensa esa situacion, ( Por ejemplo: Orden de Chilaquiles Rojos, acompañados de frijolitos y una porción de Rib Eye, suena perfecto, pero no puedes revolver todo en un plato para consomés). Por último, su barra de postres cuenta con una muy buena selección, aunque el pastel de queso puede mejorar bastante (Aumentar el grosor de la galleta, balancear más el sabor predominante del queso Philadelphia) tiene un tamaño su rebanada que te deja más que satisfecho. En resumen: No vas a encontrar en Xalapa un lugar con el concepto, la atención de su personal y lo rico de sus platillos y bebidas mejor en esta ciudad. Les deseo un éxito sin igual. P.D. Aunque sorprendente que parezca, reciben pedidos de muebles para tu hogar sobre diseño.

The place is nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. On this visit, we ordered drinks, and they took too long to arrive. We had to go to the bar several times to get service, as they didn't come out to take our orders. Furthermore, when we asked the waitress about the menu, we noticed she wasn't familiar with several basic aspects of coffee. Overall, the space is pleasant, but based on the service experience, I would reconsider returning.

Bolena is a great spot for a drink; the drinks are definitely the highlight. The food is good, though nothing memorable. Something curious (and very Xalapa-esque, apparently) is that they serve everything "al tempo" (a little tempo), something that, as a true chilanga, I find hard to enjoy. I ordered enfrijoladas and the Bolena sandwich, but honestly, they're not dishes I'd order again. What I do recommend wholeheartedly are the vanilla Chukwa and the classic horchata—a resounding yes! The chocolatín, made with puff pastry and strawberries, is a great option for those with a sweet tooth, although it wasn't a must-have for me. The place is beautiful!

Bolena, it's a good place, but what they're missing is the service. Most of the waitresses usually wait too long to ask what you are going to order, if you need something or even when you arrive they don't help you to find the perfect place to sit or offer you water while you're deciding. It's a beautiful place, food is getting better, but they should pay attention to the service.

El sabor de la comida muy buena, el único detalle es que la mesera güera hace distinción para atenderte, no importa si llegaste después, te veo tu aspecto y te atiende dependiendo a la clase. Por el contrario el de cabello rubio, excelente atención. Para llevarte tus alimentos tardan de 20 a 30 minutos. El lugar muy cómodo y bonita decoración. Los precios van de la mano calidad-precio.

Servicio excelente, la comida tiene muy buen sabor, aunque pedí unos molletes, no fueron de mi agrado pero no estaban malos, solo que los perdieron con bolillo, las porciones de comida me parecieron muy pequeñas para el precio que tienen. Ese fue el único detalle. Si deseas ir y llenarte bien pues no es el lugar indicado. El espacio es lindo

This is a Bolenito. It's supposed to be a chocolate pastry filled with chocolate cream, served with house coffee, and covered in semi-sweet chocolate; sounds delicious, right? Well, what arrived was a plain, not great, just passable, dry chocolate pastry topped with a mini strawberry and a blueberry... for $75. When I asked if this was the Bolenito because I was looking for the cream, they told me that's how they were serving it for the time being. There were other options that looked tempting; I would have preferred they had told me when I ordered. This little pastry, which was more of a disappointment than anything else, and the staff's response ruined the visit. The frappé I ordered? Quite good, what a shame.

The place is spacious and very pretty; apparently, some of the decor is also for sale. One thing I didn't like about the place is that the service could be much better. I only saw two or three people serving more than 15 tables; it's impossible to offer quality service like that. The staff is naturally overwhelmed by so many diners and orders. The menu is extensive and varied in terms of drinks, and the food and portions are very good, with great flavor and presentation. The price-performance ratio is consistent. They have their own, very small parking lot, but there are parking spaces nearby. The facilities are very nice, and the place is cozy. Ideal for a trip with family, friends, or a couple.
