This is your average McDonalds, but there is one person that works here that is so upbeat and so pleasant. Their positivity radiates and makes it a very pleasant experience.

I rarely go to fast food, particularly McDonald's. This one, in my opinion, has the best service and they prepare the pre made food the best, as compared to other franchises.

Drive thur employees very helpful. Cashiers also nice friendly and very welcoming. Fast service and very nice they double check the menus.

I never thought I would write a review for a fast food place but the service is EXCELLENT. Brooke works this place like it’s her passion. If this was undercover boss I would give her all the money 🙌

I stopped going to Mcie D's a long time ago. But with kids have been going again recently. And what I find is the people taking my order are super friendly. I'm sure they have to deal with some tough personalities. So. Kudos to all of you working at McDonald's.

kind staff, good food and very convenient. i order the same exact thing, hamburger with pickles no onions, medium drink and a small fry. once in a while i order a mcflurry but overall the food is great there and this establishment has a very nice and welcoming crew.

Excellent service - fast and friendly. The staff will let you know they are here to help even if you place order with machine or mobile. They will ask if you need extra sauces. This place is clean and nice.

Since the renovation of this location, it has definitely made it a spot where lots of folks come to get a quick bite to eat. This restaurant looks beautiful since its renovation. The staff are very respectful helpful and polite.What more could you ask for. It's a welcoming environment for all and I mean all families included.

Super fast drive through service, great. Try to double my cost by adding bottle of water when I asked for cup - error corrected without problem at ordering station. Upon pickup I asked for ketchup, got it but also got nasty remark. Otherwise would give place 5 starts. Update. New super nice manager. No problems now getting 💦😃

Very clean, nice restrooms and friendly staff. Great stopping/resting point when traveling upstate and you need a break for some coffee.

Good and quick service

The store is clean, the food hot and fresh tasting and every employee we met was friendly and caring. My wife and I were on our back from visiting friends in upstate NY to Long Island. As retired couple, we don’t ordinarily eat at McDonalds but this store was close to the parkway and we gave it a try. We were very pleased with our overall experience. Our manager helped us understand our menu options with a sort of kind humor.

Just got a pickup order and it was ready almost instantly, which really surprised me. My smoothie was the best one I've ever had honestly and the McChicken was very good as well! The staff was very polite and friendly as well. :)

Stopped here on a Saturday during lunch time. Ordered inside and it was spotlessly clean - even someone cleaning the glass of the doors as I walked in - and nicely renovated. The food order was correct (chicken nuggets and honey), hot and tasted very good. The service was friendly and fast- even had music playing while I ate. One of the best McDonalds I’ve ever been to - highly recommend.

Shamefully I admit that I go here one to two times a week, but I used to drive through and it's so fast every time. They are always nice, the food is always hot and fresh, and I never have to worry about fries that have been sitting out. Some of the other crappy reviews are pretty funny... Overall this is probably one of the best McDonald's I've experienced in terms of service, food quality and speed.

They have Ronald McDonald in the restaurant...to the manager and ownerof this franchise...never let Ronald go, it's so rare to see him these days. Clean, nice staff, good food. Great rest stop on a road trip.

Place was clean and food was prepared quickly. McRib barely had any sauce on it, which may be typical for German McDonalds where they go cheap on condiments and sauces. Restaurant is modernized with self-ordering stations.

Good classic diner food prepared well. Friendly attentive staff. Easy in and out parking. The Reuben and cheese omlet are just about perfect. A diner doesn't get any better.

Find myself only going here cuz when the food is made the way u order it its typically pretty good. Only complaint i have is if i went there ever day for a week i can almost promise u. That ur fokd will be right maybe once in that week. Not good at following directions.

They just closed for a few months to remodel and took away the right turn lane from the parking lot exit. Major major oversight! It is really hard to make a left and you will sit there and wait if you are behind someone turning left. There is another McDonald's a mile and a half away to the left but none for several miles to the right. Most of us will be making a right and that should have been considered.

Food’s ok. Sits on my stomach like lead. Much better when I was younger. I still love their “just made” French Fries. Coffee’s ok. Still like their Egg McMuffin’s. Asked for an pastry that was advertised in a flyer by the order window & they gave me a different one—they no longer carried the former, but never asked whether I wanted a substitute. The manager gave me a refund, but first I had to search for their phone number, call, explain & stay in the “drive through” parking space for an extra 20 minutes. What a waste of my time!

Service is hit or miss on drive thru. Depending on time of the day or day of the week, you may encounter a rude middle aged woman at the window. Other than that, the food is often on point, fries are nice and crispy....

We went through the drive-thru. The service was pleasant and fast. But I was really annoyed because we had to ask for napkins...really? Good thing I looked in the bag before I drove away.

The staff is very friendly. Food is hot. I went to wash my hands and there was an issue that I shared when I ordered but no-one went to fix it while I ate lunch. There is a need for cleaning the tables off and getting ice off the floor.

Like that McDonald's offer lemons with tea. They also still still have the best fries

I honestly don’t mind it here but I’m making a rating for my gf rn she dident like that one time we finished eating (we ate there) the manger pretty much did force us to do a survey and the manager did the survey for us we couldn’t answer it our selves and another time we went we were trying to order on a kiosk and a girl (worker) was being filled with ADHD pretty much and harassed us (in a good way) but that anoyyed my gf I thought it was funny honestly 😂🤷🏻

People were nice. Got the food quickly. But it sucks when you rarely eat McDonald's and then you bite the bullet for a quick lunch and it sucks. Fries were ehh. Big Mac was ok. I've had better. But it tore up my stomach. See you in 2 years maybe

Not a bad restaurant. The lot has enough room for parking. The drive thru tends to be a bit slower than ordering inside. The garbage cans outside tend to overflow often without flag replacement. The bathroom inside is not terrible, but it's also not great in terms of cleanliness. It is very spacious though. The staff is friendly. Situated off a busy road, so there's always a lot of customer traffic. They have a bench with a Ronald McDonald that can freak you out a bit bc you may feel that there's an actual person sitting there. Picture worthy.

This McDonald's has been under renovation for the entire summer it just reopened. It's nice to look at with digital ordering. It's smaller than before. The only plus is that they added a children play area. I like the old one better.

The children enjoy their Happy Meals but they no longer serve salads here, nor yogurt parfait...thus there is nothing for me on the menu (I eat gluten-free and try to avoid fried foods.)

Pretty good. The workers are nice but my only gripe is that I only go here once or so, so not often, yet somehow something is usually wrong unless I only order like 1 thing. I can't order an actual meal without something wrong. I ordered an iced caramel macchiato this morning that I was really looking forward and left home early for only to get it hot with a cup that wasn't closed and won't close and caramel all over my hands. As a mom of a one year old who barely gets to treat myself, I pretty much cried on the way to work. It was my one thing for me. I could have made a hot drink at home for free.

Typical McDonalds food. Was hot...Problem Store has been a mess many years. Dirty, sloppy store. Uncleaned tables, full garbage, overflowing trays, dirty condiment area & wet on floor near beverage machine. Interested in sales first and cleaning & maintenance at the bear minimum.

It's Macdonalds, was open 24 hours now its closed. 13 year old kids hanging out in the parking lot vandalizing and kicking the screen on the order kiosk. Security said they tell them to stop and go home but they get laughed at. They wont listen to the cops either apparently. Was on line at the drive through a couple kids came out and stood behind my car with video cameras had to tell them to back off...going to the diner from now on...

If you guys want to order breakfast and not arrive to work late, I wouldnt recommend here since ive been waiting the order for the next 30 minutes and then nothing and had to ask them for a refund. Just my opinion.

5 minutes for someone to come to the register to collect the $9 from the kiosk order, 13 minutes to bring it out to the pickup counter.

They could do better managing orders during busy hours, cleanliness, and keeping both men and women's restrooms in order. I understand it may have been a busy 3pm when we visited, but the cashier started to take our order then abruptly left to help fulfill other orders. It wasn't even like we were still undecided, but ordered 2 fries and about to order our burgers, then she walked off. Food is on par with McDs, and the creepy Ronald McDonald pictures are the best part of the store.

Couldn't pay at the kiosk so I printed my order and stood at the register 10 min and was ignored. Packed the kids up to leave and there were 15 cars in the drive thru.

Very unhappy with service. Placed an order online and came to drive thru for pick up. Older Spanish woman explained to me that the system was down and payment had not gone through, so they would try it again for me. She did and it still wouldn't go through. She proceeded to tell me I would need to pay in cash in order to take my meal. I paid my $4.30, and was assured my card wouldn't be charged when I asked if all payments were canceled. Two days later my bank statement was charged twice for the $4.30 bill on top of the cash I had paid. Abou five days later I returned to the same McDonald and asked to speak with a manager. I was passed off to a guy named Quinn. I explained to him my situation and he became immediately defensive, stating that there was no way it could have happened, and any claims must be taken up with my card company. No apology, no attempt to hear out my situation and no attempt for resolution. Now I'm pissed. I will be reporting this all to the corporate office along with receipt for the food I paid for and a copy of my bank statement, proof I paid three times for the same order. I'm a reasonable person and would have been content with an apology and refund. Now I'm here letting you guys know the McDonalds on 202 in Yorktown ripped me off, and I will not be going back there. Hope my experience was helpful, I'll respond back if McDonalds makes this right.

Constantly got my order wrong no matter how many times I explained exactly what I wanted clear as day. After a long 16 hour shift all I want is a cheap meal before I go to sleep but why is it that I can't get the meal I ordered. In addition, they told me the wrong meal cost multiple times. I'm very irritated and reccomend that nobody go to this McDonald's.

Went there last night open 24 hrs rte 9 went there at 11.30 pm all menus were up a girl awnsered in drive thru ordered two chicken grilled wraps she replyed only. 2 very bad experience recently. Usually food here has been good and the service fast however, I’ve recently gone through 2 different situations buying food at this McDonald’s. About 3 weeks ago I ordered chicken nuggets which had Hair inside of one of the nuggets. Literally long curled up hair Fried into the Nugget. I am a Bald headed man been so about 10 years. That was Such a disrespectful and disgusting experience. I meant to report it and absolutely let it slip after I discarded the food. But who am I to learn a lesson. I went back at breakfast a few days ago. No issues then. I went today for two Happy meals. A Mc Chicken Bundle and 2 10 pieces nuggets. The food was horrible today in every way. I forced it down not wanting to waist money. Bad decision. It also has me constantly using the bathroom to solidify WHY I SHOULD NOT even eat there again. As I stated. Prior to these 2 circumstances. The service was good and the food on point. I don’t know what’s ruined things but I will not be eating from there myself as a result of this. And it’s sad I may have family that will want it and still have to spend money here but I cannot again. The experience has been that bad. Think about getting long pieces of hair in your food. With all the things going on these days. Such a nasty experience. Be careful when eating here. Check your food as best as possible and pray for the best. I just have to find other options. A loss of time, money and security. I ate hair the first time and now I had hard and un fresh food that lead to diarrhea.

The female manager that served me was not nice and this is not the first time but like the 3rd time. Her tone of voice is not pleasant and she conducts herself like she is carrying a grudge. She is not friendly. I ordered two frozen slushies. 1 strawberry 🍓 and the second, watermelon 🍉, and she said, you already ordered that and I said that I wanted a 2nd one. Also, when I visited there the first time this year, I requested the value fries and because she had prepared small fries, she said to me that I could not place that order because she only had small fries. The second time I went back and I requested value size fries and I was told the same thing. I did not complain because my spouse told me not to do so but those workers need to understand that they don't own McDonalds but they service the public for McDonalds and if McDonalds don't check in on the service, they will lose valuable customers.

There was a woman working as a cashier here who screamed at my mother upon entering the restaurant around 3:45pm on Christmas Eve 2021. She was very aggressive and was constantly yelling at my mom because my mother was having trouble with the app, explaining her order, and this cashier was harassing her. Be cautious of this woman when coming here and file a complaint with the manager because this behavior should not be tolerated.

Karina the lady that took our food order was extremely rude to me and wouldn't take my full order..I had to drive to the pick up window to have them make the correction because Karina refused to make the correction. I was baffled!!!!..on top of that, My fish sandwich was ordered with no dairy(Cheese)..and my sandwich has Cheese on it.. .through a few questions I asked I found out Karina is the owners daughter..it was very apparent that she was mean and disrespectful to the employees...

My sausage egg sandwich was cold with eggshells. The hashbrown was not crispy and has a greezy old oil taste, will never come back again.

The whole experience was terrible. I ordered a double quarter poinder with cheese bacon and ketchup only meal. They never rang in the bacon. Then when i got to the window to pick up my food i was asked for my receipt and then was still given the wrong order. The guy also never gave me my reciept back. When i went in and said something they tried to give me someones reciept that was for a credit card order when i paid cash. Had to stand there almost 10 minutes just to get my order. Very unprofessional establishment. Will never go here again.

Stop pushing online ordering...its not going to work your not Starbucks. Especially when you can't use it through drivetrough which is this only reason I go there. Just stick to the old rewards and I'll come back. Otherwise I'll just keep going to burger king and Wendy's. Also if I ask for extra salt, 2 packets is not enough especially when they're stale, hard and old...step it up. I only go there is to use the app for discounts but lately the discounts only pertain to online ordering and the few others aren't worth it. I realize you're so successful you don't have to worry about my opinion and I'm wasting my time but I also know I'm know I'm not alone. So keep up the preorder promos I'm sure it'll work out great and you won't miss us loyal customers.....

TERRIBLE! Avoid! I would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible customer service. Management is horrendous as well. Steer clear. There are so many other places you can spend your money where you will be treated fairly and receive proper customer service.

Check your order before you drive away. They have forgotten multiple things every time I have been here. Good luck going inside to tell someone. They will just stare at you from in the kitchen or ignore you.

I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese, I usually get this so I knew something was not right there was extra extra grease, usually they’re greasy but the whole box was soaked and the bun was soft. I am certain it was premade because they didn’t make me wait like some other McDonald’s do, the fries were cold and extremely salty. It was nasty I will not be coming to this McDonald’s again.

This McDonald’s charges anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar more for the same item at another McDonald’s 11 minutes away. Staff is nice but owner is greedy

My fries were cold and needed to be replaced, and I got an eye stare with my request. I said I'm not giving anyone a hard time but I want hot, fresh fries. Said thank you and didn't get a thank you back, let alone an I'm sorry for the cold fries. Poor service... Two employees standing around while a third was taking orders from a line of customers. Oh, and no seating with a plug to charge a phone. That would have been handy as I was running errands all day with an older phone. I thought they wanted you to stay and enjoy your meal there. I'll be going elsewhere next time I'm in the area.

Every time I go there my order is wrong. I only go because it's close to where I live. Tonight they forgot my small fries, put pickles in my cheeseburger even tho the receipt says no pickles and my 6 piece nuggets was a 5 piece

I go to this location once a week and every time they mess up my coffee by putting sugar in it after I tell them hundred time no sugar then when you tell them they give you a adatude and on top of that they always forget to put something in the bags.

It seems after they renovated this restaurant the level of service has gone down to minimally acceptable. They fail to hire anyone at the drive-through who has a basic working knowledge of the English language. They consistently get the orders, wrong, overcharge, and when you give them a code number for one of their special deals, they always screw it up. I don’t know how many times I was given a bag of food that did not belong to me given to the wrong car and created mass confusion. The building is beautiful. The inside is clean and neat but the level of service is terrible. Unless they get their act together , customers are going to gravitate to other chains. They raise prices and they lower service not a good combination for a business.

When paying cash, you get the added habit perhaps of knowing or caring exactly how much money you have on hand. It's a financial skill I'm afraid is getting lost along with the one of customer service. When returning change and you're missing appropriate denominations so as to provide all money due, which is better: short your customer or short you drawer $0.02? I've rarely had a shift where someone didn't leave change intentionally when dealing in cash. Maybe the problem here is not just customer service but also there aren't enough cash transactions for a short to be covered and pennies get taken out of paychecks based on who had the register? Anyhow, it was presumptuous and self centered and the rolling of eyes didn't help anyone.

Years ago this place was horrible, now it's newer and twice as bad. On 12/03/25 around 6:00 p.m. I waited over an hour to just tell them I order and then I only received half of it. This place has been the worst and continues to be 20 years later unbelievable unbelievable. This is not sour grapes it's fact I'm not a kid on the playground I'm an adult leaving a serious review. You would do a lot better driving to another McDonald's cortlandt Town center anywhere and it would be faster. Best of luck if you go to this place! Two thumbs down

If you’re reading this and it’s Thanksgiving morning and you’re on the road and you wanna stop for breakfast just to let you know even though their hours posted says they’re open today. I waited at the drive-through for 15 minutes. The person in front of me also waited and they pulled off because nobody attended to us. There is nobody there they’re closed and there’s no signs outside saying otherwise so don’t waste your time and don’t go over there. Business operates like that where they don’t just put on Google that they’re closed and or just put up a sign on the drive-through and all the doors if you’re planning on being closed, just put a sign up so people don’t waste their time.

My wife and grandchildren went here and couldn't get the kiosk to work. They waited at the register for 10 minutes and were completely ignored. Technology is great, but when it doesn't work you need to be ready to make something else work.
