Heather the manager was super friendly and provided the utmost customer service for my partner and I. She let me know the pies I had ordered would take 12 mins so we opted to dine in and she brought fresh pies to our table and offered to refill our drinks. We are traveling from out of town and have been to many McDonald’s and she was the first manager I’ve encountered with a nice king demeanor and attitude. She takes her job seriously and is professional. Thank you Heather for a pleasant experience.

I don't eat fast food much but this is a very popular place for my Door Dashing endeavors. The staff is 5-star and the restaurant always looks clean/feels like a pleasant place to walk into. Sometimes there is a wait because of how busy they can be at certain times, but the staff is ALWAYS friendly - to customers AND to each other. 100% rock stars in my book. PS; they cater to their Door dash customers as if they were standing right in front of them like anyone else. That crew works their tails off and truly seems to care about customer service as well as quality. Teamwork in action every single day.

I ordered 10pc chicken nuggets with the Buffalo hot sauce. Due to being morning, I was surprised they were willing to make the nuggets. I had to wait but worth it. They apologized for the wait which made it a great service. Food wasn't the best, I ordered chicken nuggets not a 5-star food item but overall a 5 star service and review. Thank you to the McDonald's crew that morning. Job well done!

I haven't been to McDonald in forever due to the imminent shame caused by most of their food and my lack of responsible choice control. Although the food tastes good, i find that it usually torments my soul. This time was different, though, as the double cheeseburgers and fries were perfect, and the coke I ordered was the best fountain soda I've had in three years. Service was refresingly up to par. It's been a few hours since I've eaten them, and I don't feel depressed yet, so it was worth it!

Excellent service! Assistant manager Elizabeth and staff were amazing at accommodating our group of almost 50 during one of our youth field trips. The ordering process was smooth and they even assisted us in making sure everyone in our group received the correct meals. All staff were very helpful and had positive attitudes. Food is great, like always. And the employees are your neighbors so you personally know them which makes it even better. But the one thing that I don't like is the sign in their saying you have 30 minutes to eat. (I know, eat and run. But what if you just want to relax and enjoy the grandkids/friends). But the bigger thing that will make me never to return to the inside of McDonald's is you need a employee to unlock the bathroom for you. McDonald's does not trust their customers with a bathroom code, plus you need to prove you bought something before they will even allow you to use their bathroom.

Staff was very helpful. We went there during breakfast time and couldn’t see burgers options bcz they sell only breakfast menu in morning but staff helped us in ordering it. Lady was very helpful and she was offering help to all in coming customers.

This place is a well-oiled machine. My food is fresh and hot and ready within 5 min of ordering. Always a nice treat.

Everything was great. The food was hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean on the inside and out. We ran into a little problem that could of been handled a little bit more professional with the manager on duty. Otherwise all was perfect. Just double check what you ordered on the screen before you drive up and pay for it.

This was a really nice McDonald's. The furniture and decor is modern. It was pretty clean. Plenty of parking. And the menu options were your standard fare. The wait for my food was probably the longest I've ever had at a McD's. Took about seven minutes for two VERY BASIC cheeseburgers. Not what you'd expect at McDonald's. There was plenty of staff as well, who were friendly, but you could tell my cashier was frustrated at something. Anyway, overall it was a good experience.

The people that work there are always nice and helpful, except sometimes they don’t get the custom order right when my son just wants a plain burger or when we ask for extra ketchup on the burger, it will still be dry. Also, there’s hardly anything on the menu that I will ever want to order except for breakfast items. Unless you have kids that want a happy meal, I really don’t understand why people eat there. I do like the fries, desserts, and shakes though. As far as main entree, about the only thing I ever really like are McRibs and they never are even on the menu usually.

Come here more often than I would like because it’s the one quick meal that all my kids will eat. Food is always consistent and the drive through is usually really quick as well. If you want something a little healthier for the adults you can swing by Pokology for some poke after the drive through. It’s in the same parking lot.

This is the second time I've stopped at this location and the play place was closed for cleaning. I drove 25 mins out of my way to go to this location. The 45 mins we were there, I didn't see a single person cleaning the area. What a waste of time.

This is the only McDonald's in all of Yucca Valley. They have two lanes. Staff is super nice. The service is mixed. It's not super consistent, and sometimes, their sodas are not as carbonated as other places. Other than that it's almost like any others McDonald's. This McDonald's is also not 24 hours so be mindful of the times.

Ordered coffee for the millionth time , it’s always made incorrectly at 2.89 + tax I expect my coffee right ! I ask for 8 cream 4 sugars . Not eight creams 8 sugars . Today I asked my husband to order it with no sugar and guess what they added 8 creams 8 sugars . It’s super sweet , not good . The crispy chicken deluxe sandwich was terrible. Very dry, doesn't cover the bun, dry from not enough mayo and I ordered an unsweetened tea and was given a sweet tea. Totally ruined meal and definitely not worth the money paid.

Waited for fresh decaf but must have gotten the last of the old pot, bitter and not very hot but I was already in my car and did not have time to go back. I choked it down while driving 400 miles north but it sure would have been nice if it had tasted good.

I was extremely disappointed in my visit today. I ordered two happy meals for my kids and when they checked their boxes the apples were missing. When I went to the door to go in (ordered through drive through) I was informed by an employee coming out that I'd have to wait in the drive through line again just to get the apples for my kids. The person at the drive through was extremely rude practically throwing the two things of apples to me. This isn't the first time items have been missing from the happy meal boxes nor the first time the people were rude when I tried to get my items missing.

McDonald's food is so processed that you should usually have the same experience if you take out the human factors. As in too much or not enough, put on a burger. Our experience was affected by that. That's not our gripe, though. It's the lack of customer service and push to use the kiosk. In other words, at this location, the norm is if you don't or can't use the kiosk, you're not going to order, and the employees don't care. Their minimum wage keeps going up while their duties and responsibilities go down. The flip side is the number of actual workers decreasing. So you say, that's a McDonald's issue. Partly true but it's also an owner manager issue because we visit McDonald's, where they have a counter person who takes orders and assist with kiosk ordering issues. The employees have good attitudes! Just don't expect it at this location. Yes, we've made the mistake of going to this location several times, so it's not a one-time issue.

I travel a lot and was astonished that the bathrooms were combination locked and had to be opened by an employee- all of whom stay busy with orders and obviously interferes with service. With colds and flu going around this is a health issue in restaurants with high volumes. In addition, there was very little parking, and being in an RV, I had to park at the del taco and walk to the other side of the building. I also noticed that several work trucks did the same. In addition, I personally think the atmosphere was sterile apart from the playground.

Clean McDonald's, though I don't know what it is about this location, when it comes to the Monopoly sweepstakes for years, there's always a disconnect on what the menu/kiosk says are items that come with monopoly tokens and what's actually there with no communications with staff on whether or not certain items are short supply or haven't been recieved yet. Spent money on a 20 piece nugget, large fry, and large drink and didn't get monopoly tokens on either pack of 10 piece nuggets. What a nice surprise to bite into the best part and find this.

I had horrible customer service. McDonald's was giving any size coffee for .99 cents. @ 11:00 am. I asked the employee to check if I could by 2 coffees @ that price. I asked him to ask if I could. He cam back still no knowing. So I asked him again. By that time it was past 22 am. Then they had gotten my order wrong. So because it was a few minutes past 11am he didn't want to give me the coffee. He kept arguing with me. He finally charged me something that cost.27 cents. He said that because it was past.11am so I no longer could get my coffee @ . 99 cents. Then this other manager came a long. She was so belligerent and argumentative. She was also extremely rude. I showed her my receipt with the 27 cents charged for the coffee. She would not honor what the other manager charged me. So I parked my car and went inside to talk to her. She told me that the other manager made a mistake. I tried to reason with her. I showed her my receipt and she wanted to keep it. I asked her several times to give me my receipt back. She was arguing with me about that. I couldn't believe her attitude. She said"I'm keeping the receipt because it shows that the manager charged me 27 cents for the coffee. The manager needs to speak to the employees regrading customer service. You can tell they don’t want to be working there and let that determine how they treat the customers. The job isn’t hard and neither is preforming good customer service. If you hate your job that much go to school and get a better job. Until then treat your customers with respect. After all without customers you wouldn’t have your job. Will be going to the McDonald’s in desert hot springs until something is done regarding the employees customer service.

Ordered 2 meals and an extra large fry and a 20 piece chicken nuggets I got home with my order and once again, the fries and chicken nuggets I had to wait for 15 minutes to finish--were NOT fresh. The nuggets tasted like they had been microwaved and the fries....well- they weren't in the bag. I placed my order with their mobile app. When I arrived at the pick-up window, I was told that they ran out of my item and that I ordered 30 minutes prior and I would have to wait 20 minutes. I told them to forget it and demanded a refund. I won't go there again. Jack-n-the-Box has better customer service and a more extensive menu. I went there.

This used to be a really good place until about a month ago. They suddenly started putting the importance of their drive-thru window 'time' quotas way above the satisfaction of their customers. They've begun getting the orders wrong, making people wait only to receive cold food or the wrong food, or not even the food they ordered. I wont be recommending this place any longer.

Tonight I went to the drive through to place a small order I entered the drive through at 8:06 pm and didn’t receive the food until 8:40. We were about to eat the food in their parking lot and the food was cold. We went to their door where the dining room was closed and knocked and was ignored so I did approach the manager through the drive-thru window on foot and asked him if he could just fix our order and he just told me the dining room was closed I asked him why couldn’t he just tell me that through to door and he told me that I need to go around and he flipped me off for no reason. Tried to get coffee added to a chocolate shake, which I've done at other McDonalds for years. I buy both the coffee and the shake.They refused.. Said it was against the owners policy.. Made me mix it myself, which was sloppy. A sigh restricted sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes. They refused to tell me the number-code to unlock the bathroom door; sent an employee to enter the combination instead. My takeaway: unfriendly customer service.

The people who work here are miserable humans and have AWFUL customer service! You work at McDonalds, don’t try to get a power trip. I was traveling with my daughter, picked up an order, then parked to take her in to the bathroom. An older, rude female employee asked for my receipt to use the restroom. WHAT!?! I DIDN’T EVEN GET A RECEIPT AND MY 5 YEAR OLD IS ABOUT TO PEE ON THE FLOOR!! She took her sweet time walking us to the restroom and punching in the code. Told me “next time bring your receipt.” Oh lady, there will not be a next time. You’re a McDonald’s on a busy highway. Everyone wants to get food and use the bathroom. Get it together.

I ask is everything fresh then and she says yes. It's a happy meal and two burgers for myself. I get home and the fries are cold for my little guy. Nothing was fresh. It was sitting there and no one paid attention. I respect retail workers and food staff working during this crazy time but please don't lie and get your staff together.

The manager seemed to be stressed out, and she did a decent job of trying to suppress it. However, I could see it was apparently due to babysitting her team. The restroom was in bad shape, and I'm still trying to figure out how to walk out of that restroom without having to touch a door handle. No paper towels or even toilet seat covers? C'mon... you have to get napkins before using their restroom. How are the employees hands clean when they walk out?

The worst McDonald's experience ever. This place is so disgusting. Tables haven't been wiped down in who knows how long. It smells like a porta-potty throughout the entire restaurant. There was a wet floor sign on the table. We all know where those usually are and it's just there on the table. It felt disgusting just sitting in there. I went to go use the restroom to wash my hand but the bathrooms are locked and when I finally got someone to unlock the door, that bathroom was foul! Not to mention there wasn't even any soap in the dispensers. There are no employees taking orders at the register so we are forced to use the kiosk. With the kiosk, it comes with a table tent with numbers on it, which says to relax and your order will be brought to you. I waited 40 minutes for my food to come and then realized that people that had not arrived until well after we did were getting their orders brought to them. So I went to go check on our food and it was just sitting there on the counter, food is cold, ice is melted in the drinks, and my McFlurry was M&M soup! I spent $50 on this order. Obviously, we're still here. The lady at the front said that she's been calling my number. Well, what's the point of the table number then? And why did everybody else receive their food on a tray brought to them but not us? I witnessed the lady try to do the same thing with another order. After watching it sit there for 5 minutes and the lady faintly saying the number, I walked up to the counter and told her that they were probably in the play place. She then brought the food to the play place and gave the customer his order. This place hasn't always been this trashy so something must've changed. But come on! This is ridiculous McDonald's! All that work for a pay increase and this is what we get?

3 times tried to get the 3.99 breakfast deal. I was charged 10.19 for it because I asked for a coke instead of coffee. I asked for a sausage mcmuffin and no coffee. Ordered online for pick up in drive throw wait 10mins for all the others cars for them to make me park lol this place is a joke why say I can pick up in drive threw in the 1st place

Avenge me by avoiding this McDonald’s. I’m on a road trip and needed to use the restroom while my wife ordered the food. After noticing, there was a code on the bathroom, which is a bit ridiculous I went to the front to ask for the code. After harassing me about whether or not, I had ordered food. The McDonald’s employee walked me to the bathroom, putting in the code while blocking it so I couldn’t see what it was and let me use the restroom. As I saturate my food, I saw her let at least 10 more people one at a time into the restroom. They can’t find anyone to take orders at the counter so now we have to use a kiosk, but they have an employee whose job it is is to let people into the restroom instead of cleaning the filthy tables. They also don’t have the soda machines out in the lobby so you have to ask and wait for a soda refill. This is the most anti-McDonald’s I’ve ever been in my life. Avoid this place and go somewhere else until they get their act together. My wife says we need to find out how to leave them zero stars.

Terrible meal tonight. Big Mac was so sloppy everything fell out of it when I picked it up to take a bite. Lettuce soggy. Chicken mcnuggets good and drink fries some soggy some crispy. 15 bucks you expect at least mediocre quality. 😵‍💫

Did a mobile order pick up, got home and saw a false eyelash in my drink holder. Called the restaurant and the employee said “we don’t wear false eyelashes”. So disgusting, no refund 🤢

I ordered an Egg & Cheese McMuffin with no meat, and the employee asked if I wanted it as a combo. I asked what comes with the combo, and they said hash browns and any drink. I asked if a cappuccino with an extra shot was included, and they said yes. When I got to the payment window, suddenly the total was $11+ when the combo was supposed to be $7+. They told me it was more because the cappuccino and extra shot were “upgrades,” even though this was never mentioned. I said fine—just remove the hash browns and make it a simple egg & cheese with a cappuccino. It still ended up costing around $10. After I left, I opened my order and found meat inside, even though I specifically ordered no meat. I had to drive all the way back. When I told them the order was wrong, they offered to remake it. I explained I no longer wanted it and asked for a refund. The manager, Julian, then told me that to refund the sandwich, I had to return the drink as well, even though the mistake was on their side. I said they could keep the charge for the drink—just refund the wrong food. She refused and insisted I return everything, including the cappuccino I had already started drinking. On top of that, because I paid with Apple Pay, they made me park and walk inside, adding even more inconvenience. No apology, no flexibility, no acknowledgment of their mistake. Overall, this was a frustrating and unnecessary hassle. A manager should know how to handle a simple mistake with professionalism and common sense. Very disappointing experience.

I am rating it a one NOT because the staff, food or cleanliness of this location. It’s the safety for the staff that worries me. This new thing with turning the register around so the staff is on the same side as the customers is a bad idea. They have their back to the customers and they open the cash register right there with them. It feels unsafe. You never know the type of person that is behind you. Very bad change. I hope they change it back for the safety of the staff.

The play place has been closed for multiple weeks now due to “cleaning.” Everytime we come it’s closed and my son is deeply dissapointed and they have no idea when it will be back open. We came here often prior when it was open because the desert is hot and it’s one of the few locations we could go to to escape the heat. The staff is always friendly and kind, but the play place closure has caused us (a regular customer) to not want to come back again

Update 02.04.25 Mcdonalds has finally done it. The bigmc is now the size of what a double dollar cheesburger used to be. What a shame. I guess the $20 raise didn't hurt all the greedy CEOs of McDonald's but us customers. I mean, look at this small thing. I have average sized hands not big onees. Look at the picture how tiny that bigmc is in my hands. Crazy world. I dont know where to start. Iam not a fast food kinda guy but since I moved to this small town of Yicca valley, ca I need to point out some people that deserve it. Most that follow me in her and on other channels need to know the truth. At this McDonalds service is usually bad. But there is this one young Lady. I think her name is Alyssa. She literally is all iver the place. She lime does everything. Not sure how she does it but she does. When food comes out nasty amd not to McDonalds standards and I complain she always safes the day. I usually don't like to overrated workers but she deserves it. This local MCdonalds owner surely doesn't appreciate her. I wish corporate will find her and pushes her up the corporate latter. She's the best MCD worker I have ever experienced. She's all over the place...amazing young lady....MCD is lucky to have her. I wish the local ow er would see that....but they don't, all they see is profit not raliz8ng She's the one that makes just that happen.

Not one of this locations best services. I ordered a large fry and this is what i received. I also ordered a coke and received a dr pepper (not pictured as my lil sis wanted it). I dont usually have problems with this location however who ever is working today should have a review on their quality of work. Not to mention the frys are cold

Happy to see the playground open sad to see it's not open for breakfast, worst customer service yet! The pictures say it all, it's been raining and my 5yo wants McDonalds breakfast and a playground oops not today! Humans need to take our orders I won't use a kiosk or the app. Your kiosk doesn't take cash. Not spending any more money here.
