The chicken wings are soooo good 👍 as well as the sandwich. The grits is well made but not my type. Plus, the vibe here is pretty old school and cool.

We stopped by the Tiny Pony Tavern after a morning in Joshua Tree National Park. The vibes were off the charts. The food was tasty, but pretty expensive for small portions. We were not disappointed, but did feel like we left spending a significant amount for not that much food. Would recommend going, though!!

Fries were excellent, Wall decor quirky and fun(extra points for the massive cat painting), staff was attentive, food was very good, and the mimosa was mimosa'ing. As a female bipoc I felt the environment was welcoming. Thank you!

We had such a fantastic time at The Tiny Pony! 🎉 It’s a super cool, eclectic little spot with a funky, laid-back vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. We started with the Brunchie Wildboar tots (the special of the day) and wow — absolutely amazing! I had the veggie burger, hubby went for the fried chicken sandwich with fries, and everything was cooked to perfection. Flavorful, fresh, and just the right portions. The kind of food that’s so good and drippy there’s a reason there’s a full paper towel roll on the table! Haha! Also great Bloody Mary’s!! The service was wonderful — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Between the food, the vibe, and the people, it’s definitely the kind of place you want to linger. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want something a little different but absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place! It was karaoke night, very entertaining. Gave us a very 'local' experience. Friendly personal, vibes all around, and glutenfree burger and a pitcher G&T for 11 dollars??? If we werent traveling through we would come back 😍

Great little environment, welcoming.. service is great … and you can tell there is a lot of love put into to the food and preparation. Yucca Fries (get all the toppings on the side) Delish ! And sweet potato fries were seasoned and cooked really well.. Chick pea salad, Tiny pony salad with egg and the pulled pork sandwich Oh wow .. so surprisingly yummy .. Got a pic of what was left hahaha

We’d heard a bunch of great things about this place, so we had to check it out during our Joshua Tree trip. We grabbed lunch here and had Britney M as our host—she was super friendly and attentive. We went with the steak + fries , warm beet and farro bowl with avocado (way better than it sounds), and for drinks, we had a mango michelada and a cherry lime Rickey. Everything was on spot. The vibe here is really cool/ laid-back with plenty of space, a pool table, and even a photo booth. We missed out on one of their karaoke nights, but now we’ve got a reason to come back. Definitely worth a visit!

So great. You get so much more than you expect when you first walk in. The bar itself is nothing special at first glance. However, the service is super friendly and quick and the food is even better and somehow faster. What seemed like a blink after getting our beers, our food was ready and we were thoroughly enjoying it. The beer list is fantastic with lots of local beers and something for everyone. My wife had the burger that she loves. I had the veggie burger and it was homemade and so freaking good. Top three restaurant veggie burgers I've ever had. Major kudos for doing it in-house and not a mass produced patty. The loaded yucca fries were a solid bonus to the meal. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The Tiny Pony is a fantastic mix of disco, cowboy chic, and dive bar charm. My wife and I had a great time dining at this local spot—it absolutely lived up to the hype. The drinks are strong, the decor is lively and unique, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Whether you’re in the mood for a stiff drink, tasty bites, or a fun atmosphere with plenty of photo ops, this place has it all. Highly recommend!

Tiny pony is a cool little dive bar restaurant outside of Joshua tree near Yucca Valley. Menu is pretty limited but something for everyone.

Great veggie burger, i think it’s black bean base, small (and messy) portions, so some may want an appetizer too, good sauce options and cool ambiance, would recommend!

A local blogger recommended this place. After a day out in Joshua Tree National Park it was nice to relax here. The atmosphere was great, the service was awesome and the smash burger delicious. The chicken sandwich used chicken thighs which were great but over cooked a wee bit. We would go back for sure

Our group stopped by here while visiting the area! Food quality was great, but the portions were… hilariously small for some meals. The sloppy Joe was delicious but the sandwich was barely full, the chips were basic lay’s and they were missing the shallots. The buns were tiny and flat… For $16, it wasn’t worth the price tag. Although it was all delicious, we left hungry… the drinks however are stellar, and everyone was really nice!

Overall a great spot that regularly gives back to the community. Only decent pint of Guinness in the Hi Desert !! The food and drink is always delicious (more plant based options would be appreciated though!!) Bathrooms are always clean However it constantly feels stuck in an awkward space between being a fancy hipster spot and being a performative dive bar. The price does not reflect the grungy, divey, for the people vibe that it puts out. On the whole the staff are great but very often it’s hard to get served as they stand in the corner by the bar socialising.

Fun, eclectic atmosphere! Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was seat yourself. Limited brunch/lunch menu. Waited a bit for the one waitress working the room but it gave us enough time to decide what we wanted. Food came fast and was delicious! We had the yucca fries, a burger, chicken sandwich, avocado tacos and pretzel bites. Everyone was happy!

Solid burger. Wings are fried well and tasty. Got the lemon pepper dry rub because I didn’t want them to get soggy in the car. It was a little strong. The sweet chili are probably the way to go. Frozen painkiller is delicious. A fun place to go any time of day.

We had a lunch there because it was across street from Tesla charging station. There is deli right next to the restaurant. Seat yourself. Service was quick but they have very limited menu. They have pool table and nice back cool open seating.

Amazing service and atmosphere and friendly staff. Servers were swamped on a weekend night so give yourself some time here. Unique menu, but the food quality was a little sub par. Burger was super dry with a stale bun and the veg “chili?” Was super bland.

Very cool vibe. Service was great. A long wait on a Monday. I think the place has gotten too popular and maybe that's ruining it a bit. Good yes, maybe overhyped.
