Delicious
Good food. The fish was just right ✅️. Thanks much 😊.
Extremely solid and reliable takeout meals if you can figure out what this place excels at. Triple pepper chicken/ChongQuing chicken is fantastic. Mapo tofu is my wife's go-to. I'd say lean towards the szechuan dishes and not so much the cantonese ones. Definitely buyers beware if you order cantonese dishes, but the name of the place gives you a huge hint on what they're good at.
simply the best
Super reliable and great menu. If you want orange chicken go to a takeout place.
Excellent food and delivered very quickly. Mapo Tofu is amazing!
Best Chinese spot in the slope. Hands down
My go-to local Szechuan place. Good food and great vegetarian options.
I’ve never dined in but I order from here all the time and everything I’ve tried is amazing!
I fought my partner for the last eggplant, that’s all you need to know.
Best Chinese food in park slope, so delicious!!!
Chong Qing spicy chicken is incredible
Great for authentic szechuan dishes, everything is tasty!
Spicy Fish soup is the best!
Yummy! I love the chili dumplings!
Great food, a go-to in the neighborhood.
Good service. Good Szechuan food
Great selection and polite service.
A favorite go-to for two years now.
Delicious food and great service
Really good, authentic Szechuan.
Best Szechuan in the neighborhood
Excellent Szechuan style food
This place is fantastic
the vegan options are so delicious and i would often get this delivered during the pandemic. i would recommend a 7 on the spice scale. ive only gotten the vegan general tso entree and the dry pot style chicken, the latter being pretty spicy lol. would highly recommend getting food from here and im surprised this place doesnt have more reviews
My favorite Chinese place! The vegetables are always fresh and when they say spicy, they mean it. Portion sizes are generous, too. I love the sesame noodles and spicy dumplings and mapo tofu.
We've been ordering out from here for years. Their ma po tofu is the ultimate comfort food. We are picky when it comes to Chinese food and this is the only place north of Sunset Park we love!
Reliable and friendly Szechuan / Chinese spot in the neighborhood
We got the vegetable dumplings in chili oil, eggplant with garlic sauce, ma po tofu, and vegetarian shredded beef. All good, but the ma po tofu and eggplant were great. Recommended.
Authentic Szechuan is probably my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Brooklyn. I crave the wontons in hot oil. This food is just very good and fresh and the service is always wonderful.
Incredible szechuan food, damn good americanized-chinese food, spice levels exactly what you'd want, huge menu, fast-to-astonishingly-fast delivery, absurd vegetarian selection and all my omnivore friends love it too. I love this spot.
The secret is to order from the house specialties section of the menu. This is where they list all the really authentic dishes. If you do this you will have a 5 star meal. I guarantee it.
I ordered my friend the duck noodle soup and scallion pancakes for delivery when he had Covid and the next day he tested negative. Not saying the food here cures Covid but I’m also not NOT saying that.
One of the best Chinese food I’ve had in nyc. Great soup dumplings and wontons, I highly recommend the ginger fillet fish
love this place! consistently great szechuan and i really really appreciate all the vegan options. great ambiance inside. a park slope gem!
their mapo tofu is truly authentic, soo yummy and addicting and you can choose the level of spice you want :)
Good and really fast service. Maybe the best vegetarian option I've ever seen in an Asian restaurant.
The nicest staff. Incredible food. Hot sauce style pork is a must
Best Asian food in park slope. Get the mapo tofu or the dry pot fish.
has never failed me. we order weekly from here
Came here for lunch today enjoyed my meal the waitress was very attentive.
The most authentic Chinese restaurant around! Classic Sichuan dishes I ate growing up.
Not sure about authentic but delivery was super quick and food was fine
One of my favorite restaurants. Chongqing spicy chicken is incredible! The service is also blazing fast, and the portion sizes are large.
the food here was awesome! We had the won ton soup, and egg won ton soup as starters. Then we had the Szechuan Jumbo Shrimp Special along with the Chinese Broccoli platter. Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 8/10
Delicious! Don't be afraid to order level-10 spicy for the proper Sichuan buzz. I got the Chongqing chicken and the smoked tofu and celery appetizer for delivery. So good and very fast to North Slope!
If you love spicy Szechuan food this is a great place! We tried 5 or 6 dishes and loved each one. The dry spicy chicken and the braised lotus root were favorites. Ma Po Tofu excellent too. What it lacks in ambience it makes up for in excellent food and service. Don't sleep on it! We thought it was just as good if not better than Auntie Guan's or Cafe China in Manhattan. Ambience-wise, it's giving COVID-era (eg. the restaurant is set up to prioritize delivery over in-person diners)– it would benefit from some very small changes like a different furniture arrangement, and faux candles or flowers on the tables to make it more inviting. The food was delicious and service very kind and quick, so don't worry about that and definitely just give it a try! We can't wait to return to try more of the menu.
I love the food here more than words can say. The spicy spare ribs are heavenly- with so much of the cumin/ chili/ garlic mixture at the bottom I use it for DAYS after to season everything else I cook. The cold cucumber salad is sweet and tart and spicy. The dumplings- savory nutty heaven. I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews. It’s my favorite.
This place is the GOAT for authentic, real Szechuan flavors - none of that orange chicken shii! Don't listen to all the one star reviews of this place talking about their General Tso's chicken and other Americanized Chinese dishes! We ordered everything under the house specialties section with a high spice level (it could've still been spicier lol) - the shredded potatoes with chili, the pork belly with leek, the cauliflower dry pot, and the sesame noodles and everything was so good! Food came hot and ready to eat and they gave us plenty of rice too. Maybe all y'all talking about your "inauthentic" general tso's chicken should try ordering some real Szechuan dishes off their menu and then you can change your 1 star to 5 stars.
I first heard about this place in 2020 and ordered from them many times since then. The house specialities and chef’s specials that I’ve tried are all top drawer. I completely agree w everyone who praises the chong qing chicken and the cold cucumbers. The dry pot fish is super. The cumin lamb or beef is, too. The double cooked pork. The triple pepper chicken is a standout, on the same level as the chong qing, but not at all similar. The ginger filet fish. Stir fried smoky pork with green leeks is awesome. The shredded duck with ginger. The shredded chicken with yellow minced chive pan fried noodles surprised me. Turns out it’s a soup, and on first impression looked very unappealing. But it absolutely won me over. Pork fried rice has a real funk to it and is a sleeper on the menu. Scallion pancakes survive delivery (generally). They must be incredible on premises, which I’ve never tried. Delivery is fast.
Very tasty. Enjoyed the Mapo tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, vegetable dumplings in chili sauce, and vegetarian "shredded beef." They have a good range of vegetarian options but also lots of dishes with meat if that's your preference.
Really delicious. Best Chinese food in Brooklyn outside Chinatown. And they serve actual Chinese dishes, not just general tso's.
Our favorite Chinese spot in Brooklyn. Delicious food, great spice level. The chonquing chicken is amazing! We also really like the Buddhist noodle soup for something light/when sick.
Had the scallion pancakes, general tsos, Chong Qing spicy chicken (favorite) chicken noodle soup, chili garlic wontons, all really good.
Fantastic Americanized and authentic dishes served by a hard working team. The Americanized menu is consistently solid, but check the house specialties for the real fireworks. If you're a glutton for spice or have a milder palate, let them know and they'll take good care of you. Mapo Tofu, roast pork buns, wontons in chilli sauce all stand out, but the kitchen definitely rewards trying some of the less common items. Full-on neighborhood essential. Call in pick up for great, fast service that supports ls the business.
This is my choice for best Chinese food establishment in Brooklyn. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and well presented. I find the menu and flavors at this place are of a more sophisticated palate when it comes to Chinese food. Their dishes are more on the "authentic" side, and their seasoning and preparation of dishes makes them stand out amidst many options for this cuisine in the area. The interior deco and ambiance if this place is also more elegant, which awards them the best rating. Don't be afraid to request items or dishes not on the menu (we requested baby bok choy), when they are able to accommodate, they do it well. Came today for New Year's celebration and was not disappointed!
Five stars because it’s hard to find truly authentic regional Chinese cuisine in this part of brooklyn. Order: soup dumplings, double cooked pork and salt and pepper shrimp. No, soup dumplings aren’t Szechuan, but these were reasonably well executed. The order was delivered quickly via car (the restaurant does its own seamless deliveries and that seems to be a really good thing) and these didn’t suffer from the delay that many soup dumplings will. To be fair, the dough wasn’t the impossibly thin variety of an iconic xiao long bao, but the slightly thicker dumpling may be the reason why it traveled reasonably well. Double cooked pork was classically prepared (thankfully no fake corn and dried shitake mushrooms in this version) with sliced pork belly, leeks and the appropriate Szechuan seasonings and sauce. The pork had a nice smoky flavor - nicely done. I wasn’t as much a fan of the salt and pepper shrimp - it seemed like they got confused and made it more like a doughy tempura than the classic preparation. But still a fair amount of large shrimp (10 in my box) and we’ll-prepared if not truly authentic. The menu does give away the fact that they are trying to satisfy two audiences, authentic Szechuan aficionados as well as Chinese American tastes. In this part of brooklyn, you can do a lot worse.
This is a great place to satisfy some deep fried spicy cravings. It’s quieter than the usual. Great quantity and sense of space.
Solid mapo tofu and scallion pancake. There is a bathtub for customers and it's relatively clean. The servers and owners were doing their own thing, no problem still very nice folks.

Real solid mapo Chongqing chicken. Good spicy, can ask for less or the authentic
As someone who doesn't write reviews often, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing, particularly the soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and meat dishes. Everything was served quickly, and the restaurant had a clean, modern vibe. It’s definitely the best Chinese place around!
Came in looking for a new lunch place less than a 20 minute walk from Atlantic Terminal and was completely blown away. The food was delicious, whether you’re in the mood for chicken, beef, pork or even vegetarian options the food is amazing and you can tell it’s fresh and great quality. Truly one of those small family run restaurants that are a hidden gem. Hope more people discover it!
Fantastic food! We order dumpling in chilli oil, ginger fish, string beans and everything was 10/10. Also fairly affordable by New York standards.
Remarkably impressive! The employees' professionalism was the key highlight. Get different plates and find what you like. You get satisfying amounts for what you spend. I'm coming back to this restaurant soon!
My husband and I have been ordering from here (and occasionally dining in) probably once a week since we moved to the neighborhood. Extremely consistent quality, great bang for your buck, and a huge menu with all the hits (not just Szechuan dishes). The food comes out crazy fast and it hits every time. Our favorites are the Chongqing spicy chicken, the twice-cooked pork lunch special, the pickled veg + fish soup, and salt & pepper chicken wings but really everything we’ve tried has been great. I love you Authentic Szechuan 🫶🫶🫶
Came here for lunch and absolutely enjoyed everything I ate. My favorites were the soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and all of the chicken dishes I ordered. We ordered family style and everything I tried was fantastic. The ambiance was amazing and the service was impeccable. Everyone working there was really nice and friendly. Would 100% go back again and recommend it to anyone I know. Definitely try this place out.
Excellent crispy spicy chicken, tofu seafood soup, and pork/leek.
dry pot style chicken, mapo tofu, double cooked pork, chongqing chicken🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 a go to in park slope

Good food friendly service
**Ordered takeout during COVID pandemic Food/drink *Wonton soup (clear broth) - good *Chongqing chicken (hot) with white rice - Good
Good selection of food on the menu. Good first time experience, have to come back and try some more.
I always order take out & pick it up, it's always prepared pretty quickly. The Cumin Lamb is the best in this neighborhood. Also the Singapore noodles are great (I add additional proteins, which it's great that you can do that). Can't speak on the basic/typical American Chinese dishes, but the specialty dishes are really good.

atmosphere is dead, mainly take out, pretty solid food overall
Some of the food was great, others were lacking in flavor
Very dissapointing! Much more expensive than most local take out Chinese, but not any better in quality
The quality has fallen off a steep cliff
I think I will come again.
It’s good food. Well-prepared. But the portions are smaller than one would expect and the prices are $3-4 per entree more than the other Chinese restaurants in the area.
We may have to try it another time... Maybe tonight was an off night. It wasn't a hit with the family..
EDIT: Update Jan. 2022. I think they changed chefs because the last 5 or so orders I've had from them have been bad. We've tried both old favorites and some new items. I appreciate that they have been expanding the menu and certain things are still good (wontons, Chong Qing spicy chicken) but overall I can't recommend them. Can’t believe they don’t have more reviews!! Skip Han dynasty and order from here. We’ve been ordering authentic tofu once a month for 4 years. The Chong Qing spicy chicken is our favorite, but we also enjoy the mapo tofu, the spicy wontons, hot and sour sweet potato noodles, various vegetables (including snow pea leaves!), cold noodles, shredded potato and more. They also have ultra authentic fish dishes. The beef soup is tasty and well packaged for transit. Don’t sleep on this place!! Best Chinese takeout in NYC. That said, skip the dishes like lo mein, general tsos etc. And the home style tofu isn’t good.
Noodles were a bit bland and the chicken needed to be cooked better. Excellent service though.

Foods okay but sometimes they take your order and never deliver
The ingredients of the sauce / gravy for the pan fried noodle were overcooked. The sweet and sour sauce was taste nothing like authentic Chinese cooking
Absolutely horrible. We just sat to eat our dinner and are completely shocked and disappointed! Not sure who’s writing these high reviews, but you’ve been warned. The quality of the food is horrible. Ginger Chicken Pineapple super oily/greasy. The fried rice was mush and clumps! Even the bag of free crispy noodles were stale. My husband is so upset he’s ordering a pizza. Worse Chinese food we’ve ever had. Happy New Year ughhhh!

The Sesame Chicken via delivery was bad. Soggy, chicken chewy, sauce meh… we threw away half the portion, it was a disappointment. Now, the Szechuan style Chong Qing chicken I have ordered and liked.
food here was very very mid. a few things were **bad**, most was just meh. the only redeeming quality was the food came very speedily and was hot. but as for the food, we got the general tso’s and sesame chicken, both were okay but a little weird?? they had lots and lots of garlic and despite getting spicy level, the general tso’s had almost none. texture was okay tho. broccoli was almost raw. however the worst thing by far was the wonton soup. the wontons were 5 layers thick and the filling had a strange offputting aftertaste, tasted like meat flour. overall, it was edible, no one went hungry, but we won’t be ordering from here again.

This place has a rude and nasty delivery man! It is scary and I warn all woman of his anger issues. Stay far away from this place.
Terrible. As in threw everything out after a few bites terrible.
Ordered 4 different items and threw all four into the garbage after one bite. About as authenticly Szechuan as mountain dew is authenticly mountain dew. Aside from being not remotely authentic, the food was vile. Wouldn't feed it to my dogs.
Definitely nothing authentic!! What a waste of $50. Do NOT ever order here again, I tell myself. The cold noodles were about the worst I have ever had in my life -- like Chef Boyardi
It says "Authentic " but that was so far from accurate. The vegetable dish was smothered in a sauce that tasted like watered down ketchup - ugh. I really hope it was just a major off day !
Terrible place. I got serious food poisoning right after eating there orange chicken. Food is tasteless. They lowered the heat when we were there. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Recently had dinner and it was pretty bad. The chili wontons were slathered in what seemed like supermarket hot sauce & peanut butter. They were also room temperature when they arrived. My main was the shredded pork & bean curd. The pork was gummy, fatty, gristly, and way too chewy--not really shredded as much as cut into tiny strips. The bean curd (aka tofu) was julienned and simply added in, without any sear or cooking at all. The dish also had celery and some other stemmy green which I assume was added for crunch and texture, but instead it made each bite tougher to chew on account of their stringiness. I didn't even get through 1/4 of the main and sure as heck didn't ask for a to-go box. Maybe I ordered wrong? I don't know. It didn't feel like I was ordering anything complicated. I ended up 35 bucks poorer, still hungry, and walking into 7th Street Burger a few blocks away.
Ordered the spicy noodle with minced pork and all you can taste was vinegar. Soup dumplings were soggy. Honestly would not recommend
It was our first time ordering and we wouldn’t order again. The food was sub par and not authentic. My General Tso’s chicken tasted oddly, excessively of cloves and was not the usual savory sauce. My husband’s Kung Pao chicken was also deep fried, but it’s traditionally not served fried and he didn’t want it fried. The spicy chili wontons were not spicy or chili flavored at all but covered in a weird peanut sauce. They only gave one rice instead of two. Also, the delivery estimate was 30 min but it took them 90 min to deliver; we live less than a mile away from the restaurant too. And when they arrived, they didn’t read the delivery instructions and called me asking for the apartment number even though I told them that the building doesn’t have apartment numbers, and to ring the buzzer with my name. The driver kept asking me over and over and I kept telling him to ring the buzzer with my name and go to my floor. Would not recommend.
Thank you for the soup, ask specifically to put light sauce on chicken garlic sauce and this is what you get half container of sauce how can someone eat this had to eat it on the lid,
Why would this place pretend to be “authentic?” The Kung Pao chicken was fried dough and sugar and NO CHICKEN. The worst fast food places don’t use breaded chicken for Kung Pao and use at least some chicken. The same for Chongqing spicy chicken - fried dough and no chicken. The vegetable dish was ordinary.
