Papillon Abbiategrasso Reviews
First of all, I had a really pleasant experience at this place. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and very inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a nice meal. The space was clean, well organized, and had a comfortable vibe that made us want to stay longer. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit, which honestly made the whole experience even better. As for the food, everything we tried was flavorful, fresh, and nicely presented. You can really tell that quality ingredients are being used, and the dishes were prepared with care. The portions were generous and satisfying, and overall the menu felt well thought out. I especially want to mention the chicken dish. Personally, I prefer my chicken to be very well cooked, and for my taste, it was slightly on the juicy side. That said, the flavor was still very good, and I’m sure many people would actually enjoy it exactly that way. Aside from this small personal preference, everything else was absolutely on point. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and friendly service. I would happily come back again😊
Busy for a Monday holiday but as a first-timer I was incredibly surprised and pleased with this place in Stuyvesant plaza. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the prices were reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back.
A small group of us from different locations meet every winter. We have been meeting at different restaurants for years now and finally we found our new go-to spot. Josies Table. We made reservations (definitely recommend that) for brunch and were all delighted. Very nice atmosphere, really lovely servers and such good food. The fingerling potato home fries were extra good. I look forward to our next gathering. Josies Table is 5 ⭐
I recently visited Josie’s Table and I was truly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I felt a warm, cozy atmosphere — this place really knows how to make you feel welcome. ✨The menu leans into farm-to-table and seasonal dishes, with fresh, organic ingredients, and I loved that you can sense how thoughtfully they approach each detail. 😋😍 Service was friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a relaxed, tasteful place with real care for food and customer experience I highly recommend Josie’s Table. I’ll definitely come back, and I think you should too 🫶🏻✨
Excellent food in a lively atmosphere. Excellent beers on tap. Pizza was amazing! Simple beet salad with char on it was perfect. It was pretty loud when we were there, so tough for a quiet romantic date. Second visit was even more impressive! Beef tallow fries and an amazing burger. We love this place!
My favorite spot to eat in all of Albany! The pizzas are AMAZING, the beet salad and the burrata salad are so delicious and fresh, and the truffle fries are to die for. I’ve probably eaten here 20 times over the last year and it never disappoints. The salads are incredibly delicious and pair so well with the different pizzas. The burrata and prosciutto pizza with fig jam is one of the best pizzas I have had in my entire life. The pizzas are made in a pizza oven and it SHOWS they are so good - the dough / crust is incredible. This is such a good spot for a nice lunch with friends or visiting family and it’s such a cute date spot too. Highly recommend.
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO WHO EVER GAVE THE REACTIONS. I AM NOT GETTING CREDIT FOR THEM. AND ALTHOUGH I LIKE DOING THE REVIEWS, I MAY STOP. Visited Josie's Table again tonight. I got my usual burger and fries which are very good. My wife had oysters to start which she liked very much and then a fish special which she also said was good. She took 1/2 of the meal home for tomorrow. Our waiter was Liam. He was very friendly, prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. A fine representative for the business. We went again for easter brunch. My wife got eggs Benedict which she liked. I got a regular breakfast which was very good. I tried the turkey hash, which I think is better for you. Our waitress was Ashley, who was very nice and helpful. Gee, we are getting to be regulars. I guess we are visiting a lot as we ate there again tonight. I had my usual burger and fries, I must be hooked. My wife had her usual oysters, and this time got a burger also. She was not as keen on the burger as I am. She likes fish but decided to try the burger. Was going to be a busy night so all we could get was a high top table by the bar. It was ok. Our waiter was Todd. He was very friendly and upbeat. I have to say all of the wait staff seem very friendly. This review is getting longer and longer, I better stop.
Best salad flavor ever. I had the daily salad special which had fresh strawberries & oranges with a maple mustard dressing. I added on the chicken which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Wish I would have ordered two as one just wasn't enough. My partner had the burger the macroni salad. The burger was amazingly delicious too.
This was a great date spot with an upscale but casual vibe! We had the local bread, the ribeye entree, the Arctic char, and the brownie sundae. Everything was prepared to perfection and we had plenty of leftovers to take home! We're already planning to come back to try something from each of their seasonal menus 💕
Josie’s Table is a gem in Albany! Every dish was spot-on—from the decadent dip and fresh oysters to the melt-in-your-mouth pork belly and handmade pastas. The burger and truffle fries were top-tier, and the service was just as impressive. Beautifully presented food, great flavors, and a warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!
My mom and I were running some errands near Crossgates mall and wanted to try somewhere different for lunch. Reviews looked good for this place, so we headed over. Super nice aesthic right when you walk in. It was a Thursday at noon and they were packed. The host said we could eat at the bar, so we opted for that and the service was great. The food was delicious as well. I had the turkey club ($17) and my mom had the beet salad ($15 ish) and I had an iced tea. Bill was $39 & we left a $10 tip. Would definitely come again!
Just went here on Sunday for my birthday brunch with my family (10 of us) the place was beautiful and the service was great. The food was also good! For something that’s more “upscale” it was reasonably priced. The bill was only around $420, we had multiple rounds of alcoholic drinks, coffee and juices. Pretty far price for 9 adults and 1 child. Some of our party was late and they were very nice about it the entire time. Lovely Sunday brunch spot ✨
First time trying Josie's Table and we had an incredible meal. I had the bucatini diavolo that was offered as a chef special. My wife had the spice encrusted salmon. We both really enjoyed the food as it tasted fresh and was made perfectly. We also shared the chocolate peanut butter bomb dessert and it was the perfect way to end the evening. The service and overall atmosphere was also top notch. Highly recommend this place for a date night or a treat out. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Was fortunate enough to make reservations for lunch and we absolutely loved the food and cocktails. I especially recommend the hummus appetizer as it was the perfect way to start the meal. The Salmon Burger was incredible as were the truffle fries. Felt the price point was acceptable given the amazing service, farm to table selection, and ambience of the newly designed interior. We will be going back.
Made a reservation for 6 online with no issues. Our reservation changed to 7 people where I had to call in and put down a credit card for a no show fee of $20/person which wasn't an issue. Easy to adjust our reservation back to 6 without a problem due to changed plans. Walked in and sat immediately near the kitchen but it was quite cold inside. Once everyone showed up, service was pretty consistent but definitely took some time before people came. Re-ordering drinks definitely took awhile though. We ordered a variety of their appetizers including a dozen oysters, Maple Fried Brussel Sprouts, Buffalo Cauliflower, Pork Belly, Deconstructed Mexican Street Corn and the Blistered Shishito Peppers. Everything was pretty good but we loved the tender Pork Belly, the Brussel Sprouts and the Street Corn. For our entrees, i shared the Mushroom Pappardelle and the Seafood Pasta (special) and both were delicious. Overall, the food was amazing and had a great time but definitely takes some time for the drinks to come out (even glasses of wine). Would definitely revisit to try other parts of their menu.
Josie's table is a great place for drinks and casual food (pizza, burger, fries etc. is consistently solid) Pricing is not proportional to quality-- their stove top dishes leaves a bit to be desired. The risotto special pictured below was in the range of $40 with rice that was mushy and somehow still raw in places, which indicates careless bulk cooking. We've never had a bad burger there though, and the fries are wonderful.
When they say they serve lunch until 3pm, what they mean is 2:30pm. I got there at 240ish and they said they were only doing pizza at the bar. The pizza I got was a corn themed pizza and it was ok, chicken was dry and the chips they sprinkled over it were a little stale. Thr place seemed nice, but they immediately began running a vacuum that I was unable to speak over. Im visiting, but I would want to come again to see how well they do when its not between hours. To be honest, I feel like they should have just said they were closed until the dinner hours.
I am extremely disappointed. This is not the second time that I tried to come to this restaurant to enjoy the height that everyone is talking about only need to be belittled disregarded and discarded by a few employees, and manager at the establishment. Khristie, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive from the moment I walked into the restaurant. I made a reservation for 22 days prior to walking into the establishment only to be told that they didn’t have a reservation under my name. So my friend and I ended up sitting at the bar where it took 10 minutes to be seen, 30 minutes for the one appetizer to come out, and nearly 2 hours for the main course to come out after sitting down. When our course came out, it was lukewarm and rushed. As someone who loves to cook, I can tell when food has been prepared to rush a whole to prepare with love. My friend and I both had the duck, but our plates did not look the same. The duck was extremely tough, not cooked properly, and the garnishes were ice cold for my friend… again, my plate was lukewarm. The bartender Chloe served us was a little condescending and treated us as if we were a burden. The woman whom the manager refused to give me the name of who runs the dishes to the tables from the kitchen was extremely rude and disrespectful by dismissing me when I asked for silverware for our appetizer, and when she served us the duck, she practically threw the dishes on the bar and hastily walked away as if we attacked her. This experience was extremely traumatizing and unacceptable. I do not recommend anyone who have self-respect to come at this establishment has a way that we were treated tonight unwarranted was dehumanizing.
