Alexandre's Addison Reviews
My favorite spot on the strip!! As a frequent attendee and performer of Broadway on a Tuesday, I’ve been an Alexandre’s patron since 2018. From the new friends you’ll make, amazing bartenders, great drinks and food, everything about this little bar is WONDERFUL!
The atmosphere is very chill and they sometimes have music. I don't drink, but my friends always insist on stopping for a martini!
What a great surprise on Cedar Springs in Dallas! We had walked by this restaurant many times over the years. We were looking for something casual and easy for dinner. We sat at the bar and had a couple great drinks and our food was delicious! Bartender was super nice and talkative. I would highly suggest you stop in try it out if you want some good company and great food.
Super friendly to lesbians too ❤️ Love this place so much. All the bartenders are such sweethearts 🥹 also the food is AMAZING.
A nice, inviting atmosphere perfect for a seamless reprieve in the midst of the daily fluff. Great location makes it perfect to slip in, grab a bite/drink and get yourself right before sliding back out on your grind.
Great establishment with caring owner and staff. Live Music some evenings is a plus.
Been here a few times now over the last couple months. Mostly around lunch but a couple times in the evenings. Service has always been great and drinks have been good. Dylan and Eric(?) have been our bartenders and they are awesome. The food is damn good for the space and area. It kind of feels like your above average neighborhood bar on weekdays which is amazing for anyone seeking an inclusive and relaxed atmosphere. We also attended for their thanksgiving meal which was made in house and VERY good. A great offering and as our first year without family nearby, it was a welcoming experience.
Thanksgiving lunch was absolutely delicious. One of if not the best thanksgiving lunches I have ever had. Thank you for hosting Thanksgiving the community. 🫶🫶🫶
Amazing Thanksgiving dinner today with friends at Alexandre's. Supporting our community, amazing food and great atmosphere! ❤️🦃
Been there several times, including this evening. I reached for my phone and accidentally spilt my glass of wine. I immediately apologize and when I ask for another question, why along for some drinks for two of my friends, I was denied my Glass of wine. This is literally 20 months ago and I am totally sober, but yet was denied another drink (which I had barely sipped). This particular Bar Tender has been extremely rude before when a group of us have gotten similar drinks and he got angry because we didn't all order at the same time for the same drink. Not everybody knows what they're going to drink at the same time and that was really unprofessional. Just not sure I can go back there anymore because I'm really tired of the drama.
This is my favorite place in the Gayborhood! I love the ambiance, the food, drinks and the service. Jeffery the bartender is a sweetheart, and Lee the owner has been fantastic to work with planning group events. My go-to place on Cedar Springs for sure.
My fiancé and I came to visit Dallas for the first time and we were so excited to hear about the gayborhood in Oak Lawn! As members of the LGBTQ+ community it’s such a relief to find an amazing queer and safe environment when traveling. Alexandre’s blew us away!! Jules was our server and is absolutely incredible, kind, friendly, and provides outstanding service! Tyler is the chef and cooked the best wings I’ve ever had and we left no crumbs on ANY of our plates. My fiancé has celiac and neither of us can have dairy and Tyler came to our table, talked us through our options, created amazing alternatives and TORE IT UP in that kitchen! I wish we could take him home with us the Massachusetts, I could eat there every day! Then we got to join BOAT (Broadway on a Tuesday) it was PHENOMENAL! What a beautiful and amazing community and family you guys have at Alexandre’s! 100000/10 would recommend and come back again!
My favorite Sunday karaoke bar. Cher is the best karaoke DJ and Jeffery and Kimber are the best Gayborhood bartenders. The owner Lee is an amazing guy who really cares about his customers. Stop by any night of the week and be welcomed as family. Feeling hungry go see Tyler the best cook in the place. Overall 20/10 stop by and say hi
Ordered the Chicken nuggets and fries they were so good and well seasoned. All of the bar tenders were very kind and social I'd recommend them all. Was lucky enough to meet the owner Lee who made sure everything was perfect. Overall a great time and lively atmosphere. Also the cool Tyler is really fun!
Honestly, I go out in Oak Lawn all the time and never knew this place existed. One of those “hiding in plain sight” kind of things. Stopped by on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. The bartender took a minute to get to us but was super attentive from that point forward and was very friendly. I was just happy to find a place that serves sazeracs in the gayborhood. Albeit, not the best but definitely not the worse. If you’re looking for somewhere smaller in Oak Lawn to hangout, this may be the place for you!
3 phone calls to confirm table reservations for Broadway on a Tuesday and when I get there, there's no hostess and bartender (Dylan) acts like I'm insane (reservations? table? wot?) and annoyed when I ask about my reservations. manager (who'd last called me) cleared it up eventually, but come on...
Once upon a time this was the bar to be at on the strip, not so much now days. The customer service keeps dwindling every time I go back, no matter how much I tip, and keep in mind I really don’t ask for much. Every time I decide to walk back in, it is only a reminder of the glory days in the mid 2010s.
The bartenders do not get along and one makes it a point to bring that drama onto the patrons. We asked for a 🍒 in our drinks as he was putting one in the glass next to ours. He rudely told us he would not help us bc we had ordered from the bartender next to him. It would have taken him two seconds to accommodate our request and we would not have never thought anything about it. Other than the bar drama, it is worth checking out for a cocktail. Just make sure you get a good bartender.
Horrible experience today. Came with 2 other people with the idea of getting the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and a few drinks. The buffalo Mac and cheese is actually really good. It was the whole intention of our visit. Well…. They were out. Understandable, but every time I come they’re out of something, whether it’s a food item, or a drink on tap. The bar tender suggested the shrimp scampi instead. He said it was really good, so I decided to go with it. It was alright, but not up to the hype he made it out to be. My food took about 30 minutes to come out, not horrible, but ehhh…. Also didn’t tell me the price difference, so I spent several more dollars than what I had intended. Not an issue but still a $20 item shouldn’t be the fist suggested substitute for a $12 item without that disclaimer. Also it would be better to serve shrimp with its tails already removed. The other two people in my party didn’t get their food until 50 minutes later for one, and AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES FOR THE OTHER. The Philly cheesesteak was only meat on dry bread. Not very good. The chicken sandwich also came out bland, and the fries were hard as a rock. Also, the table we were sitting at suddenly became the community water table. In the middle of our visit, someone came over and plopped down a huge cooler for water for the entire restaurant, and filled it up. There are several more empty tables in the place, but he chose our actively occupied table to become the community water station. So we spent the entire hour and a half constantly being interrupted by people coming to our table to get water. How about putting it literally anywhere else…. While waiting the egregiously long amount of time for our food, which we ordered in sequence, we saw other people who ordered after us getting theirs first. I get you’re short staffed, and it’s not the fault of those employees who were working, but management should staff more than one person in the kitchen.
