New New Buffet Addison Reviews
Big buffet restaurant with a good spread of oriental food. Price is reasonable and taste is satisfactory.
Nice place and affordable price.
New New Buffet, hasn't disappointed me yet and it's been a 6yrs relationship with this restaurant. Food is always fresh, good quality, not oily, Buffet line is maintained clean.
A cute spot with a great buffet. My main hub is a few miles away so I was happy to find a Chinese buffet with favorites I haven’t had in many years. They make a great egg drop soup and lemon chicken the way I had it for years at an old family place. So nostalgic for me.
This place has very tasty food and the price is reasonable. They have a decent selection of everything. I especially enjoyed the crab and shrimp with shell on, the sushi and kimchi i also enjoyed. The cooks keep replenishing whenever an item is low. We went on a week day so it wasn't very busy. The bathroom is clean. We will definitely go back again.
For me, the mark of a good Asian restaurant is the hot and sour soup. When we are at Lin's tonight, that is the first thing we got and it was delicious. The meal just kept improving. I had the soup, an egg roll, orange chicken, black pepper need and fried rice. I loved it all though when I go back, I will stick to chicken choices instead of beef. My husband had several different chicken and shrimp entrees and said they were all good. There was also sushi, but since I don't eat that, I cannot vouch for its taste. However, based on what we did eat, I would assume the sushi to be good as well. The price was very reasonable for a buffet: $8.99 for lunch and $11.99 for dinner. Seniors get a 10% discount which makes the meal super reasonable. We will definitely be returning to Lin's.
Me and the bro went here after church.. Price was 10.39 for buffet with drink came out to 12.30. Not bad for the type of items they had. I was fairly impressed especially them serving endless crawfish, oysters , clam and so on. Fresh as possible and the taste was as supposed to be. Overall very satisfied compared to other places charging 15$ and up.
A hidden gem. I've been going here long enough for it to change names a few times. The selection is well varied, and all good. Fried rice & lo mein noodles are always on point, and the staple dishes are solid (orange chicken, butter (battered) shrimp, dumplings, etc). The beef may be a bit hard to find in the beef broccoli (it was ~a 1:10 ratio today!), but that's par for the course with Chinese buffet offerings managing ingredients costs. Standout dishes include the terriyaki chicken skewers, lemon chicken, and sushi rolls. The dessert & cold fruit selection is also better than most; try the macaroons.
New New has been around for along while. My kids grew up on New New. It's been forever so we decided to revisit and do lunch... Still being friendly greeted before being seated. The food is tasty as I remember even though their sushi section has gotten really small. Perhaps the demand isn't there? Our thing from New New was Orange Chicken, BBQ Ribs, Hooky Fish and Crab Rangoon. It was not a disappointments that's for sure.
The lady working the door try to over charge for my 8 years old daughter. The same woman did that once before and I just paid and left thinking she made a mistake and didn't wanted to make a big deal. But I realized she is not honest with customers. When I asked she try to blame the waitress, terrible person
The staff is very friendly but the food is terrible! Bland, hard, cold, disgusting. We felt jipped and said again that we wouldn't ever try this place again. Maybe we got there too late but 1 hour before closing should still provide decent food at least. Even our 7 year old said the jello was the only thing he liked. Don't waste your money here.
Absolutely disgusting experience at Newnew Buffet. Before I even had a chance to sit down or touch any food, there was a roach crawling on the table. This wasn’t hidden or in the corner it was right there on the table where customers are expected to eat. We have a clear picture of the roach as proof. We had to kill the roach ourselves, put it in a paper towel, and hand it to an employee. Instead of taking responsibility or showing any concern, the staff acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Despite the obvious health issue and evidence, they refused to offer any kind of discount or compensation for the food. How can a restaurant expect people to eat after seeing a live roach on the table? This shows a serious lack of cleanliness and care. The fact that management didn’t take this seriously makes it even worse. I will never come back, and I strongly warn others to think twice before eating here. Completely unacceptable.
I got sick from this place. I’m talking explosive Taco Bell style aftermath in the bathroom for half an hour straight. Even worse, when I ordered take out from here I thought it would be a good idea to let my dog try some of the fried rice (dogs can eat rice after all) -very bad idea. That night they threw up four times and I was still able to see every pea, carrot and grain of rice as I cleaned it up. The food was also very bland. not even the kimchi tasted good 😞
Everything was fine until we found a bug on a piece of chicken. We attempted to tell a waitress but she immediately walked away without any type of apology/response after looking at the bug on the napkin. A hostess then came over and said she would bring the manager over (she did apologize). The manager took the napkin and started picking the bug apart almost like he didn’t believe us. He apologized and agreed to comp one of our plates. So we still had to pay almost $19 to eat bug infested food. I was also off put because when we went up to pay, the manager was telling the hostesses to only charge us for 1 and the hostesses were laughing about it! The more I think about it the more disgusted I get and we have both been nauseous since leaving!!
If leaving a 0 star was a thing this place would get it. The food is literally just heated from the day before or at least it tastes like it and there was hair in the food. The service was okay but when it came down to paying the lady at the front charged tax for every person at the beginning and again at the end again charged tax so DOUBLED it. Terrible place first and last time coming here ever.
