Everytime I drive by and smell the aroma of the grilled chicken coming from this place and it reminds me of my backyard bbq cookouts. This time I decided to order the half chicken meal with two sides (charro beans and rice), corn tortillas, salsas (red & green), a grilled onion and lime. They also gave me a free soda It was every bit as delicious as it smells. Also the chicken is already cut into pieces. Exquisite food for a good price. As well as the service was amazing. They are so polite. All of it made my day

My Rico bowl with steak (I know the name says pollo, but I wanted beef!) was delightful!! I couldn't help but note the mouthwatering aroma from the restaurant. I was intending to take this home and eat it there, but it smelled and looked so good that I ate there immediately! Really good flavor and generous servings of everything. Not too spicy either!! I was quite pleased with this quick supper. Agua fresca piña was also refreshing. The most recent update I returned to taste the chicken. It's really favorable!!

I've been to the El Pollo Rico in several locations but this one on Airport has an amazing chef. The food today was super fresh. I got my food to go to eat on the way home but I had to stop to truly enjoy it. These tostada's are slamming.

So glad they opened up here! Quality is on par with the other locations, which is to say very tasty. The half chicken meal is about the perfect amount for me, the green sauce is on point as always, and I enjoy the plantains as a side. Beats the hell out of an empty shell of a Sonic.

Really good food, great price, very fresh, and the cashier was very nice and helpful! I’ll definitely be back!

Tastes how you’d expect a successful pollo al carbon chain to taste. Nothing that will make your head spin, but food is consistently fresh and cooked/seasoned well. Both red and green salsas get the job done. You can also bring a $10 bill and walk out sated enough. I will say the charcoal cooked chicken takes the burrito to the next level. I’m usually not a burrito guy, but I am here. Do note that there is outdoor seating only. There’s a drive thru and a walk up ordering window.

You spared us from the chicken chain restaurant. We parked over there and walked up and had some of the best food. Tostadas and quesadilla is what I had. That guacamole.. FIRE! Wish we had more time to try more things. Hefty portions and the staff was nice!

It's only drive through...that explains my single star for atmosphere. Omg...the chicken is to die for.

The chicken RICO bowl is something else. When we are in the area we make sure we get a Rico bowl. I’ve tried the the Gordita but was not impressed. Trying the burrito today with our favorite RICO Bowl. We normally buy two each. One for now & one for later. So yummy.

I love El Pollo Rico. Anytime I can introduce someone to it I do. The chicken is perfect. My last 2 orders did not have the right food in the bag. Ex: requested chips and salsa and got none on the 1st order. Requested chicken only on a different day (because I cant stop myself from eating their beans, rice , and tortillas) and got double beans no rice and tortillas. I can't NOT eat it if its here. Ugh! So yummy

Monday 22t at 2pm, I ordered a whole chicken that came with green salsa, no red today I don’t know why, also the chicken was salty, fresh but too salty that my daughter wasn’t able ate, there was also no limes in my order, and they normally put limes, the charro beans don’t have any bacon or pork cueritos like what they had served me in the past, they were just like boiled beans, The rice was ok but definitely this place needs to pay attention to what they are serving since the Pollo Regio is just one block down the street on the same street.

I have tried a few times. They get the order wrong even when I have asked for them to repeat the order back. For example I asked for no chicken on my tostada. They said ok and have only managed to get it right one out of 3 times I've ordered this. When I get home and it's covered in chicken and can't eat it is frustrating. The flavors are amazing but you don't get what you order. Even if it's on the receipt.

Disappointed!! I had not been to an el polls in over a year & and decided to get lunch from them. It was horrible. The chicken was dry, and some pieces you could not chew very rubbery. The rice was hard like it had been cooked too long. The beans tasted like they came out of a can. The person who took my order kept talking to me in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish at all. When I got to the window, I tried to ask him a question he had no clue what I was saying. It was a horrible experience $15 of wasted food. I guess it will be another year before I go back. The food was AWFUL!!!

I'm sorry to say it was not a pleasant experience. I wanted the half chicken special but was told they were only offering whole chickens, and I would have to wait 20 minutes to get a half chicken. I mentioned that all they had to do was cut a whole chicken in half, but that didn't happen. While waiting, there was a car in back of me parked with a man getting out of it who proceeded to pee on the ground with the car door partially open like it was perfectly okay to do so (we were not in line). I suppose he thought no one would see him--really? After that, he reached into his car and pulled out the remains of the meal he had consumed there and took it over to one of the tables near where a father and his two young sons were eating and placed it there because the trashcan was overflowing. I was ready to bolt after that but stuck it out (no pun intended). I got the 1/2 chicken special and found out it was not at all special. The fabled chicken was dry, dry, dry. The sides were okay. The people manning the windows were pleasant. I don't think they cook the chicken there, but have it brought to them from another location. I wonder if they get rid of outdated chicken by passing it on to other locations? That would explain why it tasted so dry. I'll try another location of this place before I write it off of places to eat.

I got a quesadilla and it had bones and chicken cartilage but the the worker who I spoke to said that it says on the menu that it might contain bone and cartilage and they don’t guarantee that you will just get chicken only but I didn’t see this on the menu and I think they should tell this to the customer and not written only. The white thing next to the quesadilla is one of the pieces of bone that I found in the quesadilla.

‼️THIS PLACE GETS NO STARS‼️ ‼️DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE‼️ Got the #15 and the soup was cold. Corn 🌽 wasn't even cooked right. Took one bit of the Corn and knew right away that the Corn was hard. I immediately spit the Corn out. This is my 1st time and last time coming to this location.

Ordered Pastor Tacos but Received Pastor. Long wait with only one car ahead of me and didn’t even get what I wanted. No time left in my lunch break to bring it back.
