Vegan Bee Austin Reviews
The Summit meal is berry delicious. Absolutely the best corn bread anywhere along with all other cuisine staples. Amazing how the mushrooms were crafted with delightful texture. Greens and Mac old skool blending well with the food. Plenty of parking off main roads. The owners are jewels, a joy to speak community centered. Looking forward to returning when in the area.💫
Highly recommend the oyster mushrooms, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. The best vegan food I've had in a minute and the service is top tier. Thank yall
Absolutely amazing food! Like, out of this world food. The owners are the NICEST people! Great experience and even greater food! Definitely want to go back. We had the Fried Okra, Fried Oyster Burger, and chili cheese fries. Flavors were spot on. Can't rave enough about it.
SOOOOOO GOOD. I spent $38 on the bucket and it was so worth it!!! I’ve never had such flavorful fried mushrooms!! The rolls and fries were also phenomenal. The owner was so sweet and took my order. I wish I could try the entire menu!
I have been on a plant based journey for a very short time. I googled this place and decided to give it a try while visiting friends. If I didn’t live in Houston, I would eat here everyday! The food was FANTASTIC! I ordered The Dime Bag was $10 which included a side of fries. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back, sooner than later.
I just visited today around 4pm and I had to review! When I tell you I ate everything and left NO CRUMBS! I’m so serious. I ordered the lemon pepper wangz meal and it was so bomb! Seasoned to perfection. Fried to perfection. I ordered two sauces (money mustard and ranch) and I was quite surprised at how much they taste like the real thing! Food was still hot when I ate it after a short drive to the park. I honestly cannot believe they didn’t have more customers outside. The customer service was amazing. My order was ready as the exact time that she said it would be. I’m actually quite sad they aren’t in my hometown. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Austin!
Food was amazing! We had Lemon Pepper Wangz, Crab Cake Totchos, "I used to Eat Fish Fillet" Sandwich, and Too-Nah Salad melt. The flavors were amazing and as a new vegan we could not tell the food was vegan. Tasted just like the real thing. The staff was very nice and helpful. The cook came out and spoke to us, I'm not sure 🤔 if he was the owner also but I was impressed with him. I will definitely be returning to this food truck next time I'm in Austin!
Absolutely my favorite place to get some finger licking good fried oyster mushroom chikn!! Everything they have is fabulous. I highly recommend brunch on the weekends with buttery biscuits. If you haven’t tried you, the bucket is a great way to go. I appreciate the delicious vegan eats they serve and come at least once a month to get my fix. One time I invited a group of friends and one person brought their own sauerkraut and it really helped balance the fried goodness. There is a bench behind the truck and some seating in front of it. It can get kinda toasty and sunny but you finish your food in no time.
We visited Community Vegan today and were highly impressed at the mushroom based menu! Our Sunday brunch Southern Fried Chik’n Biscuit was flavorful and completely moist (bread included). Looking forward to trying other eats from their main menu!
Love it! Got the brunch menu biscuit with oyster mushroom and egg. Added the cheese and hash cause why not. Super delicious! Highly recommend.
Service: Friendly kind staff some music playing for a cool vibe #blackowned Food: Excellent blend of texture and flavor. The breading of the BBQ Chickn sandwich was perfectly crispy with a tender center savory and sweet done right! Vegan food that even my Omnis love! Will definitely be coming here for my comfort vegan food again and again
Phenomenal!!!!!! Will definitely be back!!! I got the fried cauliflower sandwich. My boyfriend got the lemon pepper wangs.....both were delicious!!! Can't wait to make another Austin trip!!
I have been wanting to try this food truck for a year and I finally traveled to Austin and made time to visit. I ordered my food ahead of time on their website. When I arrived, the food was ready to go. This is a food truck park on 11th St, so I sat and enjoyed a delicious vegan meal. Everything was fantastic and whether you are vegan or not, I highly recommend stopping by for lunch. It's worth every bite!
Fantastic vegan food truck that has undoubtedly jumped up to the top of my list of favorite vegan spots in Austin. When it comes to my favorite types of vegan things to eat, it isn’t vegan-food-trying-to-be-non-vegan-food, it’s well done unique flavors that just happen to be vegan (hopefully that makes sense?). Why try to be something you aren’t, when vegan foods like mushrooms are just as good if not better than meats. That’s why I love it when I can find a place that cooks an incredible mushroom anything. Community Vegan hits the nail on the head perfectly, and they have some of the best mushroom dishes I’ve had in a very VERY long time. If you’re near or far please come by and give them a try. They have weekly specials that are unique pairings, and very friendly staff who want to make dining there an amazing experience. Seating is a bit limited in the park but they do have a railing with bar seating surrounding the truck.
I'm coming to find this place with my family! We were treated to bbq at work and the non-meat choice was from this vendor. Let me tell you, the food was not only delicious but beautiful to look at! Presentation is a big deal for me when it comes to dishes and Community Vegan didn't disappoint. The people I talked to were kind and explained the ingredients in the dishes with pride!
Hi. Literally so good. I’ve been craving fried chicken ever since I became vegetarian late last year. Nothing i’ve made so far has really hit the spot and i’ve been to other vegetarian/vegan establishments that just deep fry a frozen patty. THIS WAS DELICIOUS. I got the lemon pepper chicken wangz and it was amazing. I had it with vegan ranch. They use king oyster mushrooms from HyFy farm as the “chicken”. It tastes even better than chicken because its juicy and has deep flavors that are creamy and umami. Also we had the seamoss lemonade and that was amazing too. Please give this place a try because its food establishments like these that make being vegetarian/vegan so much easier. Also thank you to the wonderful customer service we got. It’s such a community hub, I ended up talking to 2 other customers that were also in line. There was a artist market and live music playing at the food truck park next door as well.
Have you ever eaten an entire head of cauliflower in one sandwich? I certainly hadn't until I decided to stop by Community Vegan on a whim. I'm a former vegan who now eats chicken on a pretty regular basis, and I can say that their Beer Battered Cauli Chick'n Sandwich was out of this world good. Nothing like chicken because it's just cauliflower that has been battered and fried, but delicious in its own right. The batter was definitely my favorite part, it was super flavorful and it paired perfectly with the flavor of the cauliflower, the "money mustard," and the other veggies on the sandwich. I've been to a lot of different food trucks around Austin that serve vegan fried food, and you can't get a sandwich like this anywhere else. The avocado bites with their house-made ranch were delicious as a side. It was raining and gross outside when I went, but the music was a vibe, and they did have a couple of covered picnic tables that stayed dry. The service was great too; they had my food out in probably five minutes. Next time I stop by, I'm definitely getting a milkshake and trying something new on the menu.

Incredible food and service! The kindest owners + some of the absolute best vegan eats in Texas.
I went specifically for the banana pudding and it was absolutely incredible. I also got their mac and cheese dish and was blown away by the seitan “burnt ends”. Will definitely be back to try more and I can’t wait to support their brick and mortar once that opens up too!
Great vegan spot! The cauliflower sandwich was delicious!! With a cool chill atmospheres. Is close to many other food trucks which gives flexibility in choices. They do have high bar table seating but they also have a near area where you can grab shade and regular tables as another option.

Showed up to find out their full menu wasn’t available. Potatoes were amazing. But only one tiny piece of chickN and some chewy waffles for $32? Very disappointed. Ended up having to get more food within an hour after this.

Not open and Google info is inaccurate! Drove 30 mins to come eat here and it literally doesn't exist. There's no building, no truck, no tent. DON'T BOTHER with the drive!!!
