Soooo delicious you must try!!!! The strawberry one is delicious. I ask for the condensed milk on the side cause I like to pour it once in make a little volcano hole in the middle. Hahaha I’m hooked! And they are super nice and fast service.

We tried this dessert and boba tea place yesterday, and it was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I shared the Mango Bingsoo and it was delicious and plentiful! We added an extra condensed milk for .50 (the dessert includes 1 serving of condensed milk, but I was happy we had 2 servings). This was is such a unique dessert experience. It consists of a milk-based shaved ice, with a generous layer of fresh mango slices and mango syrup on the top, and some mango pieces syrup and possibly condensed milk inside as well. It is kind of pricey as desserts go ($18 incl tip), but it was large enough for 2-3 ppl, and the price seemed fair once we received/ devoured the dish! If you have 3 adults sharing you might spring for the large size, which cost a few bucks more as I recall. Truly an excellent experience and we’ll definitely be back to try the other dessert flavors and drinks too. I have to say that it felt much healthier than many other desserts I could name, but I don’t actually know the calorie count. I don’t want to know to be fair, because I like assuming it’s very healthy, so we can return often!

Nice addition to the town! Peach Heaven is definitely my favorite drink. They use fresh peach to make the drink and the amount of cheese foam is generous.

Great chocolate bingsoo and taro ball dessert! The shaved ice is just the right amount of sweet and refreshing. Decor is functional and brightly lit. Service is brisk but friendly. A unique new dessert place for Alameda, close to the restaurants on Park Street. Looking forward to returning!

The mango bingsoo is delicious! The mango always feels ripe year round, I don't know how they do it. The place smells quite musty though. I recommend airing out the place more often.

Not just boba here. Their binksu is actually pretty good. The shaved ice is made with sweet and condensed milk so it's not bland. The mangoes were perfectly ripe.

Asian desserts -- the strawberry bingsoo is the best bingsoo I've had, even comparing to the ones I've had in Korea. Drinks are also great!

I had no idea they have a MandRo Teahouse in Alameda but I'm glad it does. I normally go to the ones in Fremont and Milpitas so I know that people come here for Bingsoo (Korean shaved ice). Although it's using Korean name but I'm fairly certain the owner is actually Chinese. The shaved ice here is extremely fine and as a result super smooth and delicious. I prefer this over the coarse Hawaiian shaved ice. My favorite is the matcha or original flavor but a lot of people seem to order the mango one. This location seems to be much less crowded than the other places and has more seating as well. However parking can be a pain because of limited street parking and its location. You order through the kiosk and just wait for the number to be called.

This new teahouse in Alameda is definitely worth trying! Just near the corner of Park and Encinal, a small cafe serves bingsoo and a variety of teas. I decided to get their Oolong Litchi Green Tea with Coconut Jelly and it was great! The tea was fragrant and the fruit was sweet. I also got their Strawberry Bingsoo along with Mango Bingsoo which was great, but not by itself because you NEED to get a side of condensed milk to make it creamy. The portions are HUGE so I recommend coming here with a friend. Overall the facility was calm which I liked, but one thing is that the front of their store is not that clean. The window area with pillows is quite dusty, which may impact other customer's experience. I would suggest they wash the pillows and clean the windows, besides that their food and service is amazing. Overall, the experience was great and I'll definitely keep coming here. Come check this place out!

Delicious SNOW Ice. Small drinks and shaved ice shop. They do have a wide range of options. From cold drinks, hot tea drinks, to smoothies. But the signature item has to be the variety of shaved ice options. Relax environment, a few tables available for sitting down.

Came for Bingsoo and found the Taro Ball was an enjoyable surprise to the menu. Watermelon Juice + Aloe Vera from the Seasonal menu was very refreshing.

The place smelled very strongly of mold... The tea was good, but I just got it and left. I ordered on the touch screen so I can't speak for the service. Hopefully they can take care of that as it was a huge turn off for guests who might want to sit inside.

MandRo's bingsu was average at best. We ordered the matcha and red bean bingsu. Their shaved ice wasn't very creamy so the matcha made it bitter. They were also skimpy on the red bean so it was basically plain shaved iced with matcha powder. Also, they do not include condensed milk as a topping so be sure to order a side. It is definitely needed. I should have ordered more than one side of condensed milk because they were skimpy with that too. Service and dining area were fine. Overall, this is a pass in my book.

The bingsoo items are just OK, really refreshing on hot days. I wouldn't say they're great, I was just glad there was a bingsoo place opening nearby. The staff seem consistently surly and I get the distinct feeling that the presence of customers are an imposition on them. Young sir, I'm sorry I had the audacity to speak with you to ask for a spoon.

I ordered a matcha latte with taro added. While I was drinking it, the taro was there but the whole drink tasted like sweet milk and upon opening it the tea was barely tinted with green. Compare it to the product photos on their menu and there is a large difference. The reason why I am making this review is because their cups are opaque and I would not have otherwise opened it if I hadn’t gotten curious when my husband said his Thai tea just tasted like sweet milk. He has the habit of guzzling down boba in record time so I could not get a picture of his drink. Just want to save anyone else time if you want to go here. Make sure to check that your order is well done. I want to add, we arrived around 8:45pm and they close at 10pm. I understand them running out of pearl, but if they also ran out of tea they should take it off their menu or have enough supply to make it through the whole time they are open… considering they are a tea house.

I haven’t tried the deserts yet, but the drinks were decent. The first time we went here, we did not have a very good experience. We waited about 25-30 mins for our drinks, and when our drinks were done, we realized that 1 out of our 3 drinks were missing. We let them know of the situation, so they went back into the kitchen and made it for us. No apologies at all. Just brought out the drink after 10 minutes and handed it to us like nothing happened. And then today, we decided to give this place another try because everywhere else was closed due to Thanksgiving. We ordered a total of 4 drinks this time. There was not many customers at the shop at all; however, we waited a while for our drinks again. There were people who came in after us that received their drinks before us. Which, I did not understand because all 4 of our drinks were the same thing. And when we finally received our order, a topping that we paid for was not in the drink. My boyfriend called out to the employees, but no one in the kitchen responded. After 5 minutes of waiting for someone to come out, one of the employees peeked his head out of the curtains so I let him know that they forgot our topping. He apologized about it and added it in, but it felt as if they knew they forgot it and that’s why they ignored us when we were calling out to them. I really wanted to like this place, but I’m probably never going back again. It’s not worth the trouble.
