The Fireside Lounge Alameda Reviews
Love the decor and the staff is always so nice! (Especially Holly) The Soul DJs bring a great vibe and fun. The art on the walls supporting artists is great. We are an hour away but it's worth the drive. Thank you Fireside
Love coming here. If not for their themed parties, I'll come on Saturdays for their Endless drink special from 2-5. And Marie!!!! I freaking love her. The best bartender in Alameda. Super friendly. They always show the important games.I constantly bring different people here just for the atmosphere. Plus the drinks are bomb!!!!
Such amazing ppl, always makes ya feel at home. Just a wonderful place where good vibes are welcome. Pics during the knew repaint they are having done.
Really fun place nice ice cold beer, lots of monitors for watching football! And basketball and listening to the DJ
First time here. It was open mic night. Lots of good talent. No drink minimum. Good vibes all around.

Amazing staff! Great place to party!
After the reopening with new owners some time back, the Fireside is truly better than ever. Good beer list, small but well-curated. Excellent house cocktails and a surprisingly deep selection of bottles, with friendly bartenders to navigate through it all. Tasty, cheap and cheerful food without any fuss. I adore the place.
Awesome taps and canned beer selection! No food here anymore...but they have QR codes on the tables so you can order from Calafia or Pappo's and eat your food at the bar. Nice selection of N/A options, too! Always fun things going on there...from Trivia on Tuesday nites to Open Mic Wednesdays and Live Music! Even karaoke on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month! Definitely our GO TO spot in Alameda, whenever we wanna get out of the house and enjoy the neighborhood. There's a Fireplace, too! 😀
I had fun here, dancing to music from different genres and feeling welcomed by a diverse crowd of all adult age groups. The fireplace was a nice touch for the chilly night air.
Came to Fireside from Sacramento to support my cousin who DJs there. I had so much fun. The drinks were good. I didn't order food but it looked good when I saw what other people had. Next time I go I'm definitely trying the garlic fries lol.
Fireside is such a gem of a neighborhood bar. I’ve been going here regularly for the past 3 years and it’s always a good time. Whether it’s drinking, dancing, trivia, ukulele lessons, football (multiple games on - perfect for Fantasy), or just a nightcap coz we don’t want the night to end, Fireside never disappoints. The crowd is eclectic and varies depending on what event is going on but everyone is always inclusive. The bartenders are not just cool and friendly, but they’ll put the smack down if there’s shenanigans. They may not know our names but they remember our faces and if we haven’t been around in a while. They used to have food (the best flatbread pizzas!) but now they let you bring in outside food. Can’t wait till my kids are 21 so we can enjoy the live music and good times together. I’ll finally be able to show them the collection of guitars on the wall and the rotating art gallery!
Came here because a friend of mine recommended me here. Met a new friend holley.. cool bartender, I'll be back 🤙🏼✌🏼
This bar rocks! Rock n Roll that is. The environment is a little tight but cozy. They have some nice guitars hanging high up on the walls. Bartenders are the best. The Wednesday open mike is fun because the crowd that hangs out there is non-judgmentally enthusiastically warm and inspiring to do your thing. I loved the place. Had a great time.

Raya is very nice. Great Atmosphere.
Not overly crowded on Tues trivia night.

Fireside Lounge in Alameda is pretty cool. DJ heats up Fridays, and while they might not have every drink under the sun, the vibe's solid. Dance floor’s always lit, plus open mic and art stuff keep it interesting. Not just a bar but a real gem in Alameda. Solid 4 stars from me!
Friendly staff, clean establishment. They have live music some nights and have an area in the back where groups can meet. All-in-all a great place to grab a drink. You can also bring in food, which is a nice option. Oh...and The Office was on one night, since that's an extra bonus.
The cocktails are the best, was knocked out by the long island 🏝 🤣 but the music was a no for me hence im giving 4 stars

It's a local dive bar. You'll either love or hate the vibe, as one does with places like this. I particularly love it. I find most patrons here are regulars. Lots of beer, some selection of wines, and basic no nonsense cocktails. Feels very Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Trivia on tuesday nights at 8pm with Kirkland is really fun.

tl;dr: quick beer service, cocktails, and food need timing work. Hit this place for late-night happy hour and found a mixed bag with service timing. The beer pours were reliably quick, and the bartenders were pleasant enough. Cocktails came out at a leisurely pace, but the real wait came with the food—took so long I nearly forgot I'd ordered anything. While it works fine for grabbing a draft beer, you might want to eat before you arrive if you're running on empty. I can tell they're trying, but the kitchen timing needs some serious attention.

Ordered 2 drinks: old fashioned and a lemon drop. The old fashioned was way too sweet and the lemon drop was essentially just lemon juice with no discernible alcohol. Bar tender was more interested in the basketball game than anything else. Very disappointing.
Ah, Fireside, once our cozy, post-Alameda hangout. We came back for nostalgia and a couple of beer… and got a live-action NatGeo special instead. After being served by the bartender with short curly hair (who apparently moonlights as a bouncer), we sat outside because, gasp, we had our kids with us. Kids needed a bathroom, wife took them in, and BOOM! Curly McYells-a-Lot storms out like she just spotted poachers in the savannah. Accused us of jeopardizing their precious liquor license, like we smuggled a keg in a stroller. Apologies flew, but then backup arrived, Sidekick Screams-a-Bit, because clearly this was a Code Red situation. Eventually the owner emerged, and we politely suggested that if you're gonna guard your license like Fort Knox, maybe hire a pitbull, not a hyena on espresso. Used to be a place for cold beer and good vibes. Now? It's where customer service goes to die. Pro tip: If your kids have to pee, maybe just train them to hold it till they're 21.
