It’s an affordable beachside cafe. Had the veggie teriyaki avocado burger and it was quite tasty. Basic patty, fresh vegetables and a tasty whole wheat bun. Good for kids.

Really nice local eatery. Check it out. Fries cooked to perfection. Juicy burger. You can't go wrong eating here.

We picked up a delicious breakfast to-go from TJ Cafe - the breakfast burrito, vegie burrito and bacon, egg & cheese croissant were all delicious and we hardly had to wait. I highly recommend dropping in before or after your visit Land's End or Ocean Beach.

Lou Fast

Nice little mom and pop shop 1 block from the beach. I had corned beef and hash and my husband had the hot links and eggs. The hash was very fine and frie perfectly, the link went great with the eggs and potatoes. No hash brown, but country fries, which I like. The only thing I wish was different was real silverware to eat in house, but it seems like they do a lot of take away orders, so plastic silverware makes sense. Great place, would go again.

Wow this place has great food and reasonable prices, and should really hire a image consultant. It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. Also understated are the beautiful cliff views.

I just had to stop at the TJ Café ...And, I'll tell you why. It was Platypus Pete while league bowling at the Presidio Bowling Club with his team, The Wicked Weasels of Hunchback Gultch, this guy was 3 balls away from scoring a perfect 300 game, when all of the sudden..he yells out something about BLT sandwiches at the TJ Café! Well...That was it, because this Brain Surgeon wrapped it up, packed is ball and shoes, and walked away from was was going to be a 300 game, all because the BLT sandwiches at the TJ Café are the best in the city! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Very friendly staff, the lady in the front was welcoming. The food price was reasonable for something right by the beach in the city too. I had the club sandwich with fries which was tasty and would come here again :) there wasn't a lot of people and i definitely want to see this small business thrive!

Little mom and pop shop, ordered the California Burger with fries and it was good! Drinks are in bottles and soda cans, but they have a variety: ginger ale, sprite, coke, kombuchas, watermelon Bai, bottled water, etc. Great prices, especially in San Francisco, and just around the corner is Ocean's Beach. Loved the food here, will try more from the menu!

Great breakfast spot! (Breakfast ends at 11:30) Staff was kind and helped us choose the best option for us. We got the bountiful breakfast option, which includes 2 eggs cooked to order, potatoes, choice of bread, and choice of meat. Coke products, coffee and juices to drink. Could use a good scrubbing down, but what greasy spoon diner couldn't? Food was quick and delicious. Served on paper plates with no frill. Just what we were looking for!

Came here on Saturday at around 1:30 PM and it wasn't too busy. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was great! Also considering the prices of eating out these days, this place was moderately priced with a pretty decent portion. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite by the beach or if you just want to try something new! Seems like a mom and pops kind of store. Will definitely come back!

Went for breakfast whitch ends at 11:30. Ok food, needed doctoring with salt, pepper, and ketchup. Good bacon and easy over eggs. My French toast was disappointing. It was made without milk or sugar; just bread dipped in scrambled egg...

Fish and chips was definitely a no it was overcooked and there was less fish than there was batter..... The hamburger meat was kind of like a hard hockey puck that was smashed under tons of weight and had the consistency of Play-Doh.... The fries were quite delicious and the onion rings weren't bad if you're looking for a burger just to grab and go this place will work
