Espresso 77 Albans Reviews
Simple and cute cafe. Customer service was great and they have a pretty big menu with their specialties, teas, coffees, food and pastries! I ordered an iced cortado and the barista looked like he enjoyed what he was doing. They also have Queens merch! Sweaters and tees I bought a crewneck and was able to sit down for a bit and read my book.
Very good pastries, great location, and great service, especially after a long bike ride. Would stop here again for sure!
New to the area and glad to find a nice cafe serving one of the best cortados thus far. Been coming here several times and the quality is pretty consistent. This has become my fav place to get my caffeine fix.
The best food and coffee, whatever you order it's worth it.
Neighborhood cafe serving breakfast and an ok variety of other dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive and doesn't rush you. The owner seems to know a lot of the regulars and sits with them at times. Trio band plays on the weekend. One can buy the paintings adorning the walls. The cafe is very welcoming and solo guest friendly. There's also an outside covered area.
Iced Chai Latte is good. The ambient is welcoming. Nice Tame Impala tunes in the background. Recommend you come here to have a pleasant conversation and catch up with a friend, coworker, or client over a meal and beverage. I have not tried the food yet but many options for sandwiches and wraps are available. Outdoor seating is a plus. Daniel made me feel welcome.
I had a chai latte, my sister had a coffee. The art on the wall was done by a local artist who happened to visit while we were there. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. It seems to be a great neighborhood place to hang for a while to eat and sip a refreshing beverage.
Intimate cafe with coffee, tea, pastries, smoothies, sandwiches, wine, and beer. The banana bread was amazing.
Awesome neighbourhood spot. Must visit on weekend with love music
The drinks and atmosphere are wonderful! Live music is great too!
This is a great local coffee shop. Friendly, helpful staff with good coffee and food. I liked the plants on the table too. It also does cocktails at night and supports local artists and poets. We always go here when we visit nearby family.
If I walk around this neighborhood, this is an always go coffee spot. It has a great atmosphere, a wide variety of coffee and food selection. They even serve wine. There's a big outdoor patio as well. The baristas are friendly and helpful. I ordered cappuccino at this time it was delicious, creamy and hot. They have free Wi-Fi, but unfortunately, there are no power outlets.
The special offered right now, Mr. Cardamom Chai is absolutely incredible. Be like me, try it once, find yourself there every morning for a week. Also great tasting pastries
For do many years we go to this place. The best of jackson heights. I look all around and didn’t find any other place like this. So comfortable and friendly. Love it love it
Their coffee is the best. The staff is friendly and the environment is relaxed. I'm very glad laptop use is limited.
Great place to read a book while drinking a great tasting matcha. Love the vibe here .
Went for drinks/snacks with a friend on a Thursday night and it was absolutely lovely. Ordered a slice of carrot cake, it was moist and not overly sweet. We ordered a charcuterie board which was loaded with more than enough cheese, meats, nuts and fruit for 2 people. The person who took our order at the cash register was very helpful and helped us decide on a glass of white wine we'd both like (it was absolutely delicious). And we both ordered frosé's afterwards and it was also delicious. The atmosphere was great, restaurant is beautiful, and excellent service. Would definitely come back!
This is the best place in the neighborhood to work and meet folks. You can't work on a screen weekends and laptops are limited to a long table. No plugs available. Music is good. Staff is nice. On evenings, there is often a performance which can be nice but impossible to chat with a friend.
I love this coffee shop. Such a great place to meet with friends . Great coffee in the morning, and an awesome place for a beer or glass of wine later in the day. On weekends there's live musician and art expos. Friendly service and a really welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!
I stop by here all the time and it’s always a great experience. The coffee is awesome, the food is fresh and tasty, and they even have really good beer/wine if I want something a little stronger. The staff is super friendly and it’s just one of those spots that always feels easy and welcoming.
this is a favorite local coffee shop. They have live music, they sell art and merchandise from local artists and the atmosphere is so cozy.. I rarely eat here but last night I had a Pastrami sandwich and it was great. The Prosecco and the cocktails are great also. Best part - there is an outdoor area.
The first snow falls this year. The weather is cold. I miss warm soup. Such is the atmosphere of this cafe. A place that comes to mind when you want to warm up in cold weather. The friendly staff and simple but not neglectful food. This brunch cafe is highly recommended to those visiting Jackson Heights. I ordered the soup of the day and grilled cheese sandwich combo. A simple salad is also served. I was very satisfied with the mushroom-flavored soup and the cheese sandwich with tomatoes. But above all, let's not forget that the coffee is as delicious as the name of this cafe, right?
I've been here twice and it has been a nice experience. I was a bit disappointed that some of their options are prepackaged, and therefore, you can not customize your order. So if u want no cheese, u will have to take it off yourself. Also, you can not order extras like a fried egg... 😔 for one of your platters. The staff is very friendly, and the vibe is really nice. As far as the food, it is a hit or miss with some of the items. The gluten-free muffin was dry and not very sweet. The salmon platter with avocado, which is not on the menu, is delicious. The oatmeal was in desperate need of extra boiling water. Some of it was still sort of dry when they served it. The soups are pretty good. Last but not least, their drinks are pretty delicious 😋
We stopped by Espresso 77 while waiting for our car to be serviced at Koeppel. The walk from the shop was a bit long, but honestly, quite pleasant. This café has great reviews for its coffee, though the food tends to get more mixed feedback—and I’d say that checks out. My husband and I both ordered the Honeybee, an iced latte with vanilla and honey, and it was excellent. The espresso was smooth, and the vanilla and honey added just the right amount of sweetness. No need to adjust anything—it was perfect as is. Food-wise, I had a ham and cheese croissant that just didn’t deliver. It was bland, oddly flavorless, and lacking the savory punch you'd expect. My husband ordered a raisin bagel and wasn’t impressed either—he said it just wasn’t good. The café itself is spacious with a good amount of seating, including a large communal table in the center that’s clearly designated for laptop use. I noticed quite a few reviews complaining about their laptop policy—but honestly, I think the rule makes sense. Laptops are allowed on weekdays at the center table only, and not at all on weekends. And after this visit, I totally get why. There’s a tendency for people to treat coffee shops like co-working spaces—camping out for hours, taking Zoom interviews, pacing while on business calls, and just dominating the space with little regard for those who might be stopping in for a quiet break or to catch up with a friend. During our visit, someone next to me was literally on a business call, walking around the café and in and out of the shop, like it was their personal office. Another person was mid-video interview. The entitlement is kind of wild. Some folks think ordering two items earns them the right to set up shop for eight hours. It’s disruptive, and it crowds out patrons who simply want to enjoy a drink without feeling like they’ve stepped into someone else’s workday. Biggest thanks to the owner for putting a stop to the laptop free-for-all—because I came for caffeine, not to be trapped in a co-working circus with Zoom interviews, business calls, and dudes pacing like it’s their startup headquarters. Sit down. That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place for its coffee—it really was great. The food could use some improvement, but the staff was nice, and the overall vibe is solid if you can find a seat not taken over by someone’s entire remote work setup.
Small cute place. Friendly service and sometimes they gave you homemade cookies as samples. A nice comfortable place
Excellent coffe shop , cozy , beers 🍺 wine champagne 🥂 food Night live with wine 🍷 Live music 🎹🎼🎤🎻🪕🎸🎷weekend 💪🤙🖖👋✌️😃😃 Excellent if you looking for a coffee shop like in the city (Manhattan) super busy at night Super excellent ESPRESSO 77 for Ucrania Excellent Maria es Mui atenta al cliente Súper Maria
Plain and simple review: This coffee shop feels like a museum. There’s so many rules!! There are no plugs for computer sadly 🥲 So if you running out of juice better luck running to the next shop. They have live music on weekends or on selective days. Thier food menu is to die for. I recommend the “Tuna Melt” and if you want something to drink “the honeybee” is pretty good! The coffee shop also serves alcohol 🍺🍷
Good, strong coffee! Hot or iced, I love their drinks. Good pastries and breakfast choices too. I think their open space wins people's hearts- large windows, comfy seating, and rotating artwork! They are pretty strict with their laptop policies- only the middle table for laptops and I believe weekends are laptop free. Kid friendly.
I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, they have some great healthy options at fairly reasonable prices, on the other, what is up with that laptop policy???? The staff can be nice, but I’ve also been here on days where they were really rude. They have some great drinks, and I really like the chicken spinach feta wrap. The chicken is nice and juicy, and the spinach adds a kind of soft element to the sandwich which is really nice. I wish there was more feta in the wrap because it isn’t an overwhelming flavor so it’s not that present in the wrap. I would come here more often if it weren’t for the fact that a cafés main purpose is to work at. The bagels here are also kind of overpriced.
Nothing like a stroll around the old neighborhood. Service and seating were good. It can get packed here apparently. First time here today after all these years of living here. Or around hehe. Wasn't in the mood for coffee, wanted something refreshing and fruity. I got the 16 oz peach lemonade. Very fairly priced which I was surprised about. It can get overstimulating quickly if you're like me. Glad we got it to go.
Came to Expresso 77 Saturday night to see my friend Jon Christopher Allen perform in this quaint and comfy coffee shoppe…that is way more than coffee! A wall of windows that bring the outdoor in. The weather was great. The folks are friendly. An overall good time. Posting this review to share my experience and boost local businesses that survived the pandemic and still serve the community.
Expresso 77 is a pretty basic coffee shop. The atmosphere is really nice, with calming music playing in the background, paintings, and simple furniture. The interior has a bit of a vintage feel to it. I have not had a very good experience with its food, it’s very plain and generally doesn’t taste well. This coffee shop is good for small snacks, smoothies, and coffee. The service is quite slow and it takes a while for you to get your food after you ordered it no matter what you got.I haven’t gotten to come to this coffee shop much, but I don’t think I will be visiting very often.
Really wanted to love this café and make it my regular spot. The service and coffee was average but their laptop policy is what killed it. I was told that I have to work from the center communal table after paying for my drinks. When I asked why, they said "It's just policy." OKAY. I probably wouldn't have made the trip hoping to get some work done. There are plenty of empty tables around but here I am... sipping on my coffee at the communal table writing this review and wondering why this policy exists.
1st time at this place; The food was good and the girl taking the order was pleasant; however, the owner ( as he indicated) of the place was NOT. He directed himself rudely, as he walked by and told everyone who was working remotely “ NO LAPTOPS ALLOWED on the seating areas outside” meanwhile, there was no sign about it, the place was not full capacity and no customers waiting to be seated. Do yourself a favor before you go; be mindful that you will have to be inside.
Good food and live music when scheduled. Nice blends of coffee and about three beers on tap. Clean venue and bathroom, though dimensions can feel tight even after Espresso 77's lateral expansion several years ago. Seating on benches outside is also available. Free wi-fi, though ownership concedes that its policy on tablets/laptops is "complicated," such that midweek you can use them -- only at the central table, until it gets "busy" -- yet nobody knows why a customer using a tablet/laptop seated anywhere would dissuade new-coming customers from buying anything.
Prior to moving from the area in 2019, I use to go to this local coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere and it was a great place to get school work done or catch up with a friend. Recently I've been back twice only to be told after the fact of the rules of the establishment. Which I find wrong. Cashiers should assume not everyone is a regular customer and explain the rules of the establishment. Twice I have been there, and twice I was told the rules after ordering my food. It's truly poor customer service. Please let people know what your rules are and don't simply state "There's a sign." For those curious, the rules are: they have a designated table for laptops, they do not provide outlets for devices, and they do not allow screen time on the weekends. However, if you want to grab a quick cup of coffee, this is a good place to go but I think ill stay in my local area.
Visited the spot for the first time this morning as my friends had recommended me their coffee. The lady in the register had very negative attitude, making my morning feel uneasy about enjoying my morning coffee. Please treat your customers better!
Sweet cafe & came in for tahini chocolate chip cookies 2/21/26 & cookies ($4.50/each) were stale, hard and clearly not recently baked. Too bad. Used to be super fresh place. Will try again because 9/10 times this place has been great.
Something is missing from this cafe... tough to put my finger on it. Everything here is okay... not great, not delicious, just okay. The service could be friendlier... they barely say hello. Come on people!! This is your business! An independent cafe in NYC! There are many places to choose from... and I want you to succeed. The food and pastry miss the mark... nothing exceptional. The atmosphere is good... music, art, many tables. But I want to feel a part of the neighborhood when I come here... I can go to Starbucks for the cold shoulder. Please step up your service and food!! Be exceptional !!
It’s a real shame because I’ve been told about this place for years. Only been here a couple of times until recently. Now I come more frequently and the shorter Hispanic woman with glasses continues to be rude and dismissive. Just turns off the whole relaxing vibe of the place. Love the atmosphere and the food is very good. I’d love to rate it higher.
This coffee shop is nice and offers a variety of food, which is ok, but they need a crash course in hospitality, and especially in service! I can find food and coffee on every corner, but if there's no empathy or service, I'm not interested, personally.
There are things to like about this place, but their weirdly stringent laptop and seating policy defeats the purpose. No outlets either. I regularly scooter to local coffee shops to relax and focus on remote work, and this made me feel really unwelcome, especially considering I spent $25 on a sandwich and drink just to sit at a communal table in a cloud of gnats, and there were almost no other customers in here. Caffe Bene on 81st is just 5 blocks away and way better on all counts, just go there instead.
I was told I cannot use my laptop at any other table except the long table in the middle. My parents come here often and recommended this place for me to check some emails and just do minor work for a few while visiting NY from FL. I’ve been here once and had no issue. I was here with my family and I was able to do a little bit of work while they were enjoying the evening(this was in April 2025) I came back today June 23 and and decided that I would rather breakfast and check my email while I eat. The lady in the counter told me I can’t use my laptop in those small tables around the wall. She said I needed to go to the middle table. I told can I just sit there for a few minutes while I eat because I needed to plug my laptop because I had no charge. She told me we don’t offer chargers for people. I found this very rude way to answer to your customer. There wasn’t that many people to say oh they need the space. I wasn’t going to stay there the entire day. I’ve been to hundreds of coffee shops and have never been told or treated like this. I had to eat my sandwich and leave to Starbucks which was on 78st. The place is cozy and the food was ok but the attitude was sucks.
I have been to Espresso 77 multiple times before, and they have decent drinks and a nice interior setup. I'm not really sure where the disconnect is but their staff is pretty unfriendly all around and quiet passive aggressive. They also have this weird rule where you can only use your laptop on the long communal table that's in the middle of the shop. Which is not at all a big deal, but they also don't have any outlets at that table and have this rule that if you want to charge your laptop, you have to use an outlet by another table and leave your laptop there closed because you can't use and charge your laptop at the same time at Espresso 77. On top of that, what gets me is that they also have this rule that if you're on your laptop, you can only be there for an hour- which they only seem to enforce on certain individuals. When I got there around noon, the shop had already been open for many hours and there were no signs on the communal table stating the 1 hour limit. Once I sat down, the barista came and placed this sign directly in front of me despite there being three other people at the table, some of them had been there over an hour already. It's pretty clear to me that they dont want people on there laptops, so what confuse me is why they have themselves listed as a 'laptop friendly' coffee shop on Google. It gives the completely wrong image of espresso 77 because they are absolutely not a laptop friendly place, and they need to advertise themselves as such before people waste their time going there with the expectation that they will be able to get a couple hours of work done without any of these issues mentioned above.
Disappointed. For the price I paid I expected better. The frappe was watery and tasted bitter.
If you are looking for a place to study or work this place is not it. If you have a computer you have an ASSIGNED table you HAVE to sit at!! Ridiculous. We aren’t in school. And the staff are also not friendly at all.
I’ve been here a few times when it first opened and decided to come back during my mat leave this summer. It’s beautiful now but the vibes are very unwelcome, even for customers not using laptops. The baristas all looked upset and it felt like I was bothering them? I only ordered a regular coffee and a latte and it took over 15 minutes. I didn’t complain either. I figured maybe they were busy but looking back, it wasn’t that busy at the time. There were maybe three other people in line after I had ordered. The latte ended up being 90% ice for such an expensive drink. Since then, I’ve just chosen to go to Lety’s. Friendlier service and cheaper prices there despite how cramped it can be. Reading past reviews I see I’m not the only one getting the unfriendly vibe. It would be cool to have a place like Espresso 77 to sit and relax but not at the price point or awkward atmosphere.
Went there to do work and was approached by the manager, very aggressively, telling me I can only stay for 2 hours because other people want to come in. Not even a "hello" or anything. There were people at the community table that were there before me and I was only there for 30 minutes when he approached only myself. Understandable if it wasn't EMPTY and if I was there for hours. They have a list of rules to abide by and not once was there a mention of a 2 hour limit. He didn't tell anybody else except for me which I found odd considering I had just got there. I didn't respond as I was so shocked a manager could talk to someone like that. Especially one that didn't do anything wrong. The rest of my stay was super uncomfortable as he was watching me until I left. The manager is just very rude but the staff is so nice. I won't recommend it. I paid $30 for a sandwich and coffee just to be given attitude by the manager.
Went there to do work and eat. I asked the staff where I could find an outlet to charge my laptop. That's when they told me I can not work on my laptop while it's charging!! And after it was charged, I had to move to a certain table which is the only place people are allowed to work on their laptops. As my closed laptop was charging, another staff aggressively approached reminding me about the rules. Such ridiculous rules that I have never seen exist at any other coffee shop. Never going back again.
I just ordered a mango avocado salad (10/8/24 at lunch time) for $12 , I received a VERY small side salad with NO avocado, total rip-off. I also ordered a mozzarella, tomato, and basil baguette that had one wilted leaf of basil. I spent $21 on lunch, and was left hungry. Very disappointing as this place has a nice menu, but the food is poorly prepared and they completely rip their customers off.
Waited for awhile at a pretty empty coffee shop for my order to arrive. Watched as several others who ordered after received their drinks. When going to ask about the drinks it looks like they forgot and started to make the drinks now. Would've been okay if the place was packed and busy, but this was very slow service.
The coffee here is decent. I was a little offended when one of the cashiers—the girl with a hijab, mentioned i was missing five cents and recounted all the change I had given OUT LOUD, so everyone could hear, then proceeded to hold up the line while I had to search my purse for the missing pennies. As a former cashier myself, I wouldn’t make a big fuss about five cents. I suppose everyone is different. The customer service just keeps getting worse. I know for a fact they’re not going to be in business much longer.
Say who in this world that iPad is considered as a computer? I understand your have rules of not using laptops over 2 hours in your store, but taking iPad as computer and abandoned customers using it is a no no. Will probably never come here for anything, use to think it’s a cool place to have coffee or drink, but no more.
Please avoid this place like the plague. Coming here was one of the most unpleasant ways for me to start the morning. I’ve lived in this neighborhood off/on for my entire life. I tend to frequent the local businesses because of the kind service and quality food. Yet, I’ve never been here and now I understand why. Coffee with a side of a disgusting horrendous attitude. It’s my first time coming here and the barista was the nastiest barista I’ve ever encountered. If I’m paying $8 I’m expecting my latte to be made correctly. What I received was flavored milk and when I told her it didn’t taste like anything. Her response was to tell me that because I got half and half the milk is creamier. No, if I’m getting a large latte the ration of espresso to milk has to be adjusted to the large. Why are you serving me one small double shot of espresso for a 20oz iced drink? When that’s what you put in your small? Her response was to tell me to get an extra shot next time. No, you need to make it correctly and there will not be a next time. I will not be coming here again and will make sure no one I know comes here.
Today we came in with our work backpacks, there was two of us, after we ordered we were notified of the rules for laptop use. It was very inconvenient and we would have appreciated the notice was provided before ordering as we were looking forward to be there working for a couple of hours. An exception would have been appreciated since the rest of the tables were empty and we would have appreciated an accommodation or a compromise to leave when we finish our order. We were directed to the seats outside.
Came here during the weekend and after ordering a drink and sandwich they told me they have a screen free policy during the weekends 💀. Service was pretty terrible they can barely smile and throw/slam the drinks and food on tables (it’s kinda a weird vibe here) also really overpriced lol- I love going to cafes during the weekend to study and relax a bit but this is def one of those cafes I’d never come back to again 😭 Also the food was sooo bland! I got the breakfast wrap and there weren’t any mushrooms or onions like they stated 💀 and the mango mint lemonade had no taste of mango whatsoever
This place is a joke. I was sitting outside with a coffee, peacefully working on my laptop, when the owner came out and kicked me out—yes, literally told me to leave—because, and I quote: “I don’t allow computers outside. It’s a beautiful day and I don’t want them out here.” Not only is that absurd, it’s arrogant, entitled, and downright pathetic. It wasn’t just me—he did this to FOUR other customers, all paying patrons, all sitting outside. The only explanation? His fragile ego didn’t like the look of computers “ruining his vibe.” Meanwhile, someone else right next to us sat comfortably using a giant iPad, untouched. So his “policy” is clearly a random, mood-based power play. When confronted, he doubled down with a smug attitude like we were the problem. No signs. No warnings. Just an inflated sense of authority and zero customer respect. Let’s be clear: Your business exists because of customers like us. You sell overpriced coffee, not some elite luxury experience—and no one comes here to be policed by a tyrant with an inferiority complex. I will never come back, and I genuinely hope others read this and stay far away. Plenty of better coffee shops in town that don’t treat their customers like pests. This place? Dead to me. Karma will come around. Next time have a sign out before you go on your power trip. Will be reporting this place in numerous places and getting my money back. Disgusting
i knew that the manager was strict about laptops from the reviews, so before i sat down, i asked if it would be okay since i was simply waiting for a friend and only needed a place to hang out for 15 mins. the manager very rudely and loudly gave me a stern “no.” the tone was as if you were reprimanding a child. very unprofessional attitude. i asked for permission, i didnt blatantly ignore the rules, and i was still met with an unfriendly experience :( i would have respected the policy and sat quietly with my coffee if i was spoken to nicely
Not a work friendly cafe at all. Staff greets you with attitude, outlets are off limits and laptops are only allowed at a single middle table with no plugs. If you're looking for a welcoming place to sit, work and enjoy your coffee, this isn't it.
Apparently they have a weekend policy that you can’t use laptops, which is insane to me I’ve never been to a cafe that dictates what devices I’m allowed to use. I asked whether or not it was related to how long people stay since the cashier told me the policy is in place due to the business of the weekends. I asked her if I could use my laptop for an hour and she told me I couldn’t use it no matter what, but my phone was allowed. I just think this is such a ridiculous rule, since when do coffee shops tell people what devices are allowed for use or not. I could overstay my welcome by just sitting on my phone since those are the rules. I wanted to support a local coffee shop and get some work done but unfortunately had to go to the Starbucks next door since I got kicked out.
I went to this coffee shop hoping to enjoy a coffee and get some work done. After I ordered, I was told I couldn’t sit at a table with an outlet or charge my laptop—so I was shoved into the middle table with no charger, in the spot where laptop users usually gather. Nothing about this policy was mentioned beforehand; it was sprung on me after I had already preferred my spot. If you enjoy overpriced coffee and being micromanaged about where and how you sit, this is your place. Otherwise, go somewhere that actually lets customers enjoy their coffee without random restrictions. not to mention when i complied and kindly asked the worker if i could sit in the center table but just leave my laptop charging she suddenly said we don’t allow people to use our outlets . when yesterday i had come without a laptop charging my phone there. DO NOT RECOMMEND
It’s my first time here. I really like the vibes and every thing. I live close by and would like to visit for long time. Everything looks go well. Until I ask for a paper cup for water for my dog. The cashier wear glasses and hijap look to me so aggressive and rude. I don’t want to use your regular cup for my dog.it’s not appropiate to others. The Cashier girl has so bad attitude. Very disappointed
It looks like a vibe from the outside, but it’s not as inviting when you’re met with the poor customer service. Their rewards system is inconsistent when paying cash. They have a strict laptop policy that is hardly visible and they are super agro when, heaven forbid, you miss the sign and whip out your laptop. I’ve returned a few times to give them a fair shot, but regretted it every time. From the cashier to the management, service is uncomfortable. I really wanted to support my local coffee shop, but rather go around the corner or an extra block for way better service, good drink, and way better prices.
The cafe has great atmosphere and decent food/coffee, but they have a very weird policy toward remote workers. Essentially if you have a laptop you are required to sit at a table that is in the middle of the cafe, even if the rest of the cafe is empty. This was my first time here and when I sat down and opened my computer the staff treated me like a criminal. I understand that people who are studying or working can sit there for hours, but in that case you can make a policy where those people have to make a purchase every hour or every two hours, or you can set a time limit so to avoid over crowding. Or you can allow it during week days but limit it during weekends or after working hours. There’s a million ways to facilitate a friendly environment to remote workers while also running your cafe business for your customers. We’re silent, we have our headphones in, and we’re not disturbing anyone. Some us are looking for jobs, some of us are studying for exams. It’s not fair for people to have to sit in the middle of the cafe on your table of shame just because they want to work or study. Maybe we prefer privacy and don’t want everyone to see our screen, maybe we have sensitive or confidential information. At least warn me that laptops are not allowed before you take my order, watch me sit down, and then kick me out. That’s the bare minimum you can do… You need to do better…
