I like Cafecito Social a lot, more than most of the typical coffee shops in the area. In interior is great, they have outdoor seating (though limited), and the drinks were delicious. It might be my new go to cafe in the area when I’m walking by. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t yet. They also have non caffeinated drink options if that’s your thing.

This place just opened… and WOW! The flavors are so unique (Guatemalan-inspired), atmosphere is lively, and the coffee is just delicious! I had a cardamom latte and parmesan & black pepper twist. Both were great — I will definitely be back. So glad it’s finally open :)

Cafecito Social is a bright spot at the corner of Sackett and Bond streets (in the same building as Good Times Pilates). Location has been beautifully and comfortably styled. Coffee is delicious! Pastries are yummy. Definitely check it out! An awesome new addition to the neighborhood.

This new cafe in the Gowanus / Carroll Gardens area is exactly what it needed. The coffee is sourced directly from a farm in Guatemala and roasted to perfection. The atmosphere is chill with tables for working with WiFi. The open air doors are nice to sit on a warm day.

What a WONDERFUL addition to the neighborhood. I’ve seen this corner go through endless stores and I hope this is the last time it changes. The owner is lovely and my coffee was excellent today. AJ is the best!

Excellent experience at this Guatemalan outpost. The coffee is sourced from their home country and served to perfection. Over the seasons I've sampled some great pastries and a few of their specialty coffee beverages. Service always comes with a smile. I am truly looking forward to my next visit.

Very nice coffee. Very pleasant experience and a nice independent shop. Colorful decor WiFi etc. Tell the private equity coffee at places like blank st to get wrecked.

Ambiance is 5/5 Service is 4/5 - friendly and helpful Flavor - 3/5, good taste but minimal coffee flavor. Ie, the iced horchata latte was served in a 16 oz cup but had the same volume of espresso as a standard 8 oz hot drink. We had to return and add a shot for flavor balance. Price - 2.5/5, one iced horchata latte 6.75, with tax 7.40ish, plus the extra shot after we came back in … 8.40ish (last photo is the remains of iced specialty drink)

Read the absolutely sorry response to the review by Kris. First, no refund had been processed to my card but I’ll update this review IF it happens. Second, Kris is literally an award-winning barista that 100% knows more than you and neither of us ordered a macchiato so this is a dumb way to excuse that absolutely abysmal customer service. I don’t know if she had an attitude because we’re visibly queer, but there was a single order ahead of us, no line, and Gaby made a bad joke and can’t own up to that. You literally back tracked and apologized because we gave you a look. You disrespected us and was so mean for zero reason. 2+2 is 4. If it’s a quad shot, that’s two double shots (in case you don’t know how math works). Speciality coffee isn’t Starbucks but you probably don’t know that either. Sooooo…? I promise we know the difference in starbucks vs a typical macchiato - but again, neither of us ordered that and it doesn’t excuse the piss poor attitude Gabrielle. Also she specifically asked AJ before ordering if you guys pull double shots. A quad shot is so standard. We’ve both worked in fine dining coffee and Kris absolutely works for a coffee shop you probably know and care about. It’s an incredible shame the coffee was delicious when the owner was sour like an over pulled shot inside and out. Anyway, AJ, if you’re reading. RUN girl. There are nicer coffee shop and owners babes. Absolutely crazy response from an owner bro. *now that you’ve responded, I bet feeling disrespected felt really bad. Now maybe you can approach with empathy as an owner instead of posting an absolutely insane and unneeded response. I will be crossposting to to other reviews sites.

Went to the Smorgasburg stand in Prospect Park today around noon. The cashier (who may be the owner based on some pictures, but unsure) was finishing up with another customer, so the barista (who was very sweet and professional) asked if she could get something started for me. The older woman interrupted her and took my order, an iced quad cardamom latte with oat milk, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. She questioned the quad shot, saying "ok so you mean extra shot." For the record, I have worked in specialty coffee for almost ten years. A day one Starbucks trainee would be able to understand that order. My friend ordered their coffee from her next, a Tres Leches cold brew. The cashier, pointing to me, said "Okay you want something simple. She had to make it complicated." When I looked at her she said "Just kidding." If this was in fact the owner, treating your staff and your paying customers like this is so embarrassing. Perhaps take some lessons from your employees, who are clearly more courteous and can actually do the job.
