Grand Canyon Bistro Albee Square Reviews
Grand Canyon Bistro is a gem. The food is fresh, the service is on point, and the vibe is relaxed with soft background music that makes you want to stay awhile. The bar is stocked and lit beautifully, giving the place a warm, inviting feel. Parking can be a little tight, but valet and a paid lot make it easy. It’s kid-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and has good vegetarian options. Whether you’re staying at the Holiday Inn next door or just passing through, this spot is worth it.
Grand Canyon Bistro’s cozy and welcoming atmosphere is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you love a refreshing mid-week cocktail, Rigoberto is the best bartender in the area. This place is definitely worthy of 5 stars.
This is a great local diner. We live in the neighborhood and we like coming here for a chill dinner or brunch. It is not fancy but in a good way. Expect good service and solid diner food/drinks. The menu is large and the staff is friendly. I like the Seeley croissant at breakfast. The mozzarella sticks and the quesadillas are great for dinner. The portions are large and the food comes out quickly after you order. They get somewhat of a transient crowd from the hotel which seems to be where some of the more negative reviews come from.
It was a pleasure to work with Rigo and his team. We rented space at GCB for an intimate event and they were most accommodating. The food was also delicious which was added value.

Very nice place to dine. Respectful. Good service. I recommend 100%….Rigobeto is the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The manager, Rigo, was hardworking, quick, and treated me very well. He was on top of everything and made sure things got done efficiently. I can’t say the same about the other workers, who seemed slow and not as committed. Rigo was the main reason the experience was good!
The bartender Bartello did an amazing job waiting on several middle aged women who all seemed to want to talk, he was kind and professional. I observed him treat many patrons with respect and also gave me a dinner tip to get the shrimp nachos that were awesome 👌
Rigoberto is my absolute favorite server, very kind respectful and really does engage with his customers. I recommend him for a huge promotion. Customer service skills is on a million. Ask for Rigo if you friends or family ever plan on dining here.
I just loved the experience I had hear, it really was great customer service and amazing food as well it was truly top tier and my server Rigoberto was an amazing guy and just gave us the best customer service ever. 5/5 stars will continue to keep coming here
Took my girl out for lunch at Grand Canyon and we definitely recommend trying chicken souvlaki Platter and Florentine sandwich Deluxe. Will bring my family next weekend after church. 👍
This is the best place for breakfast! The staff is welcoming and the service is very fast! They are accommodating and the drinks and food are delicious- highly recommend for family or solo person. You will not be disappointed. Rigo and Julian are exceptional workers- thank you!
I came in for a coffee and ended up staying longer than I expected. The vibe was really cozy and comfortable, and it was actually a great spot to get some work done. It was quiet enough to focus but still had a nice atmosphere. The coffee was good too, which definitely helped. Overall, it’s a really nice place to sit, relax, or be productive.

Reasonable price tag. Good choice for breakfast. Didn't try dinners much, but I can recommend morning burritos here.

My friend craved yummy diner food (pancakes) and we went here. Her pancakes seemed fine, nothing special, and my grilled cheese and tomato sandwich tasted of some random unpleasant oil. Maybe an omelette would have been a better choice. The coffee was diner level adequate. The service was good at least. Do Better Grand Canyon!!

Staff was great! Food came out extremely quick which was awesome. However it was extremely salty and I found a hair in my food. I understand it happens, maybe they can wear hair nets in the kitchen and ease up on the salt.
I did not come here to eat grilled cheese made with kraft dinner and lumpy mashed potatoes. The only thing that prevents me from giving it a one star is their milkshake which was pretty decent. Overall would never come eat here again.

Pork tacos tastes bad. Pork pieces seams to be harsh and old. Rest was tasteless. Server never asked me about the food, even though I only tok a bite before I payed.
Ordered a western omelette with cheese & grits, This is how it came… Messy, like 2 scoops of grits all over the place.
Me and my partner entered the diner expecting to be taken care of as we walked in to get a table and no one was at the front. Nothing crazy so me and her waited for a while and someone else came in right behind us and as he walked in, we was skipped and he got taken care of first and the guy just walked off and we was still standing there waiting. Doesn’t make sense that someone got there after us and he got catered to, but me and my gf still didn’t even get taken care of. So already we wasn’t feeling good about the place and we just wasted too much time there and we didn’t even get to place our order. I get that he may be the only one working but still, there should be someone at the front and he shouldn’t be the only one there. Not his fault but the experience was already iffy and we didn’t want to wait even more since it did look pretty packed.
Very disappointing experience. A waiter left the dining area and went into the kitchen without a hair net or cap, which is a serious food safety and hygiene issue. This completely ruined my appetite and confidence in the restaurant. Basic hygiene standards should be strictly followed. I would not return and do not recommend this place.
Stay away if you have any food allergies, even if mild. Waiter smirked when asked and the bartender was more interested in watching the soccer game than providing service. If you stay at the Holiday Inn nextdoor, find another place to eat or stay at another hotel. Tried even calling the restaurant ahead of time and hotel transferred us but no one picked up. Avoid. Would recommend Devicion for service and coffee and Cafe Volkan for breakfast (although the place is very small). Both a little pricey but it is Brooklyn. Nice area.
