Lelabar Albee Square Reviews
Great casual place this is my second time and really enjoyed it. Chef is amazing food is high quality and very tasty. Definitely coming back again and again.
Beautiful beautiful place 😍 we have enjoyed spending time there, wines, foods all great! Edit: Addition to my previous review I came here again, it is my fav place in Manhattan so far. Chef is also so friendly all the time 💫
Cute little date spot with some delicious food options to pair with their extensive global wine list. The food menu blew us away, we loved everything we tried — highly recommend the Polenta, the Octopus with potato salad, Iberico selection, pan de queso with honey butter and the beignets with toasted fennel
Amazing food and ambiance. Open kitchen was beautiful way to meet the chef team and appreciate their talent.
Had a wonderful birthday celebration here this year. Very easy to book and great food, wine, and service throughout the night. Thank you to Chris and the team!
We were walking the neighborhood, looking for an in-between meal. We walked in LelaBar and they were kind enough to let us in, even though we were a couple minutes early. The charcuterie and cheese bread were delicious, and exactly what we were looking for. The bartender was super nice and it felt very homey inside. Thanks for a great meal!
This is hands-down my favorite wine bar in the city. The vibe is always spot-on and the staff is super friendly. I went for brunch this morning and it was the perfect start to the day. The wagyu sliders were juicy and flavorful, and the shakshuka had just the right kick. Everything hit the spot. Much more than your neighborhood wine bar!
Probably the best brunch I've had in NYC. I've been to Lelabar plenty for their wine, but with their new brunch menu, I feel like I'll be there even more. Get the pancakes for sure. Their orange juice is super fresh (can't hurt adding some champagne to it). Vibes were perfect too for brunch, perfect outdoor seating. Went w a group of friends, we had to eat first so only have the pic of their bruschetta, but everything was beautiful and tasty.
Had a great time at Lela Bar! Stayed for the wine pairing with the most delicious charcuterie board. Their olive oil was incredible—so fresh, it tasted like it was squeezed straight from the olive. The vibes were super chill and airy, the staff was really friendly, and they had great recommendations. Definitely coming back!
Cozy, dimly lit wine bar that is inviting. Prices for happy hour are very reasonable, a bottle of red wine costing $44. For nibbles we tried the goat and double cream cow cheese that came with a homemade apricot jam and spicy chutney - both which were very good. We sat at the bar in front of where they were prepping ingredients so got some marcona almonds and a spoonful of their delicious chocolate mousse. Would definitely come back.
My favorite spot for some wine! I’ve been here a few times and every visit I’ve had great customer service. Our waitress today was very kind and even on a busy Thursday, she made sure we were taken care of. Many wine selections available and my favorite and best place for meats and cheeses! I’ll keep recommending to friends to visit!
Cool wine bar with a wide selection of wines but they need staff who do a better job characterizing and selling their wines - we had someone basically convince us that wine they had wasn’t even worth tasting which confused us. Outdoor vibes are great when the weather is warmer but they’re extremely limited so come early. They have a live jazz band on evenings which is cool!
I have heard so many things about this place and have wanted to go for the amazing wine list. Yes the wine list was amazing. Food was good. But the service was meh. I mean we ordered 2 nice bottles (1 which was decanted) and you'd think SOMEONE would come by and pour our glasses or know about the wine or ask if all was good. It wasn't bad service, just expected more from what I have heard about.
