Camino a Casa Alcorcón Reviews
Recomendable, personal amable y profesional.
Buen restaurante, abundantes platos.
I had an amazing dining experience that exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food was outstanding, with authentic Asturian cuisine that truly captures the essence of the region. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for the price, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the cider tap, which, although not as cost-effective as bottles, provided a more comfortable and convenient way to enjoy fresh cider while keeping track of the quantity. Every dish, from the starters to the desserts and coffees, was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff's attentive treatment made the experience even more enjoyable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I can't wait to return and try more dishes—there's so much more to explore! Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Asturian flavors, great service, and a cozy ambiance. I'll definitely be back soon!
An unbeatable cider house with the purest northern style. Fantastic value for money. Five of us were there and everyone was delighted. For starters, we ordered a scorpion fish pie, spectacular ham croquettes, scallops (I wish we'd ordered another portion), and finally, exquisite anchovies. To share, we had a T-bone steak, a spectacular, perfectly cooked ribeye steak, and a delicious Cabrales cheese cachopo. For dessert, we had rice pudding, which in my opinion was one of the best I've ever had, carrot cake, pudding, and custard. For drinks, we had a cider that was truly fantastic value for money. They even offered us a few shots. The service was fantastic, even though the restaurant was packed with people, always waiting on us and asking if we needed anything else. We will definitely return.
I've been to this place several times. A couple of times to eat from the set menu, and I've left feeling full because the dishes are so filling and tasty. The last time I went with my family for lunch on a Sunday, from the menu. They recommended the goat for two, although after it arrives, it's perfectly fine for three people (we took the leftovers home). It comes with a plate of potatoes and peppers. We also ordered their leek and carrot croquettes (so delicious! Please, try them if you go). Other things we ordered: - An ear stew in sauce (it's hearty, so order it to share and leave some bread to dip it in) - Salad, which can sit in the middle of the table since it's very large and can be used as a side dish if you order other things. - Hamburger: average with potatoes - Sirloin steak in Cabrales cheese sauce. I need the secret to that sauce, hehe! The meat is cooked to perfection. - Scallops (almost €4, and you have to order at least €5). The combination with the sauce is spectacular. You have to try them at least once. - Dessert assortment (€17). It comes with four different cake slices and cream. - Bottle of Alma (€14). Finally, the staff is attentive and prompt. I felt right at home. Thank you. We'll be back to try the cachopo and the cider! P.S. I also left photos of the day I came for the menu (spaghetti with baby eels, salad, ham, steak, rice pudding, and San Marcos cake).
A magnificent experience, both for the quality of the food and the service—especially the service. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you're right at home. We didn't order much food because we had a snack afterward, but what we did eat was very good: asparagus, cachopo, and mango tart. We'll be back to try one of their spectacular meat dishes and a cider. Highly recommended.
Excellent experience. Although the dining room isn't very large, the linen tablecloths and superb service were much appreciated. The food was excellent, high quality, and the portions were very generous. Highly recommended. My only constructive criticism is that they're understaffed. The waiters were very professional and attentive, but our order arrived a little late (no big deal, but there's always room for improvement).
We found this place by chance because we're not even from the area. I'd definitely go back because we loved it. The quality was excellent, the service was fast, and the waiter who served us was super friendly and kind, and he knew how to advise us on the quantity of the food, which is always appreciated. We had rice with lobster for two between four people. The whole lobster came with it, but in the photo, we'd already had some. The amount was quite generous; that plate already leaves you half full, without exaggerating. We also ordered a menu with cod-stuffed peppers (delicious) and a suuuuuuuper tasty leg of suckling lamb (which is to say, it tasted amazing). We also ordered two small pieces of cured meat with goat cheese. We were going to order three, but thank goodness he recommended two, otherwise we'd have left rolling. It was juicy, and don't let the photos fool you; it looks small, but it's not. In short: we will repeat, 100% recommended.
Good quality, appropriate price, excellent service, overflowing ration sizes! Asturian cuisine at its best. Also, the cider tap might not be as cost effective as buying bottles, but it's way more comfortable and you can keep track of the quantity! Will come back for sure
Very nice place, good natural cider, and good tapas
...Incredible the taste of their meat! the best place to eat it! Recomendation: Picaña.
Buen restaurante estilo Asturiano. Raciones bastante abundantes.
Asturian atmosphere with a dining room beautifully decorated with cider bottles hanging from the ceiling. Very generous portions of good quality. With our drinks, they served us a chickpea and tripe stew as an appetizer. Very friendly service; they even kindly moved us to a different table and moved us from a caddy at the entrance to the dining room. The cachopo is a must-try—spectacular and very large, served with fries. A great place to eat well and in abundance.
The service was very good, the waiters were very attentive, they gave advice and told us what to expect, the salad was very good and the calamari was tender, the ribeye steak had good flavor but was a bit tough, it wasn't the best ribeye, the desserts were acceptable and everything was fine, it's good for a drink, lunch or dinner.
The place is small and overcrowded, which takes away a lot of its charm. The adult menu costs 26 euros, which isn't bad, but there were only three starters and three main courses. We left feeling full but feeling like we'd overpaid. The children's menu costs 16 euros, and it's a bargain. My children didn't eat badly either, but again, I was left with that strange feeling that I'd overpaid. I think if they had fewer tables, the feeling of being overwhelmed would be lessened. I think it's perfect for eating once and getting to know the place. But I don't know if I'd go back. The service was very good, although at times they seemed a bit overwhelmed on the weekend.
Excellent eatery
Ttttttyttttt
We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation from a third party. The location is perfect, as it's easy to park nearby. We weren't pleased with the service from the person who served us, as we felt pressured to order, barely allowing us time to look at the menu. The waiter stood next to us, notebook in hand, and kept asking us what we wanted. The situation was extremely awkward and made us feel uncomfortable from the start. On the other hand, the food was decent, but not commensurate with the price. Among other things, we ordered a ribeye steak, which was definitely not among the best. Unfortunately, our meal didn't feel as good as we expected, nor did we leave with a pleasant feeling that would make us want to come back again.
We were having dinner to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was packed due to the approaching Christmas holidays. Almost everything we ordered was good, but the problem wasn't the food itself, but rather the behavior of a nearby table with many diners. They not only spent the evening talking loudly, but on several occasions, they also behaved in a raucous manner with shouts and laughter more typical of drunks than sober people. These kinds of disreputable people should know that if they want to celebrate like troglodytes, they should rent a private, soundproofed dining room. Their behavior last night greatly disturbed the other diners. We celebrated our birthday without anyone else noticing. Of course, we assume they must have been regular customers who generated a hefty bill for dinner, especially for wine and cocktails, since none of the waiters, much less the manager, said a word to them. This attitude from the manager and the waiters is completely unprofessional and leaves much to be desired.
