Alicia's Mexican Alpine Reviews
Loved this place, I stopped before heading into big bend
We get cheeseburger and ff baskets every Friday. Always great! Best burgers in town!
Excellent service, delicious and generous portions of food, welcoming clean place!
The food is always delicious and consistent with quality! The cheeseburger basket and Mexican cheeseburger basket are amazing! The breakfast burritos are also a favorite!
We showed up with 8 people. Our server greeted us promptly. The food was amazing and it was so nice to experience a locally owned restaurant! Highly reccommend stopping in and trying the menudo; it was delicious!!!!
Excellent food 😋. Authentic Mexican food is very tasty and truly chiloso... mmmmm. I loved it just like abuela used to make. It's pricey, but very great food. Made to order, served 🔥 hot. The red enchiladas are the best.
This place makes the best cheeseburger I’ve ever eaten. I took a trip to Big Bend about 3 years ago with my dad, and we were blown away. We liked it so much, that we came back on our drive home while coming through Alpine. It’s been a long time, but I still think about that burger 🥹 I’m here tinkering on google maps and had to leave a review. God bless all of you at Alicia’s 🙌
This is only drive thru. This is not a sitting type restaurant. Call in or drive thru. We had tacos/burritos and the tortilla was toasty(my favorite!!!!) And the chorizo, bean and egg taco was Soo good!!! I'm sure that anything here is delicious. When we got there and there there were 2 cars in line and 3 cars waiting. We had to wait 30 mins but IT WAS WORTH IT!!
We love this place ,the only thing is is that they only take cash ,so brings your monies w you . Other than that …ohh and they don’t have sweet tea . Other than that the food is delicious home made and on point .
Came for breakfast due to the reviews. Logistic things off the bat- they are cash only, there is a 20 min wait, salsa is 1.25$ extra for small cups. The burritos themselves were good, the tortillas were tasty. As a vegetarian, I got the trash can burrito without meat, and my wife got the trash can burrito without potato. The other reviews mention these burritos being extremely large and filling- however, we did not notice these to be particularly impressive in this regard. My wife experienced some rude customer service, we were charged 24$ for 2 burritos, and then when we received the burritos , they were mislabeled. And with the aforementioned 20 min wait and extra charge for salsa, overall this made for a mediocre experience. Would not come back
We ate here on our way out from vacation. Food was decent but they don't post prices on anything and they are overpriced. The coffee is instant, so that was very disappointing. Service was lacking. Hope this helps others deciding to try this place out. Cash only. Good luck.
From the moment we walked in they didn’t greet us back when we said “hi” a lady just looked like we were a burden when we walked in, she said the menus are on the wall and walked away. Once we sat down nobody came and talk to us so we went to try and order but she said, no we are about 45 min before your food will be ready. (We haven’t even ordered) please avoid Alicia’s and head over to McDonalds. 100% better
Highly recommended by everyone, including Texas Monthly, but the food offering was quite limited, service was slow, the food mediocre. 2 Nescafé coffees, and two breakfast plates set me back at 50 bucks plus tip. The place was packed with people, both sit-down and takeout. Go figure
Hair on my ice cup service not good first time and last time coming here they have a small menu and went I get there there's nothing but burgers 🤔 not recommended sorry 😔
I order 4 menudos, 1 burrito 2 coffees,2 soft drinks 2 waters and great taste but very, very spicy and they charge me 98.00 dollars super expensive
