Palace Coffee Amarillo Reviews
Stopped by Saturday morning while passing through on a road trip. This is the kind of hip, good-vibes coffee shop we seek out. The strawberry strudel was phenomenal. Tasty little kolaches. Enjoyed the Aztec mocha too. The kind barista also gave my dog a pup cup! Would come back for sure!
I’m usually pretty hard to impress with coffee, but palace absolutely knocked it out of the park. Their house blend espresso has great tasting notes of pecan, chocolate and cherry. The Baristas are all very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend!
This is THE BEST and ONLY third wave coffee shop in Amarillo. We will definitely be back. Wonderful coffee, treats, and service.
I used the wifi for my home work while getting coffee and a burrito super nice environment they have outside area so u can bring ur dog too everyone there was super nice as well
A place like this is what I like to see in Amarillo. Cool branding, nice staff, good coffee, and normal pricing. I’ll be stopping here every time I’m in Amarillo. Also they have 4 locations in the area so you can easily get to one when staying here/traveling through. Side note, when the weather is good they open the front garage door and it’s a great spot to sit and chill. If you’re an americano person you’ll probably want to add a shot of espresso to make it bolder but it’s still a great drink the way it comes.
We recently spent five days in Amarillo and Canyon. Palace Coffee served as our base location for the entire stay. We made multiple visits to all of the cafes with the exception of downtown. Each of the cafes is stylish and unique, welcoming and comfortable. The baristas are friendly, well trained and professional. Every beverage without exception was expertly prepared - cappuccino, cortado, espresso and golden chai latte - and impeccably presented. Additionally, Palace maintains extended hours so you can visit in the morning and then later in the day for your afternoon boost. We also had the privilege of meeting the owners Patrick and Crystal - super nice folks who are dedicated to providing a superior experience for coffee and tea lovers. Lastly, the Royal Bar at the Wolflin location allows for that wonderful transition from caffeine to alcohol with a terrific variety of excellent cocktails.
Best coffee spot in Amarillo. Great tea and coffee. Seasonal menus, homemade syrups, and always a staff that is happy to be working. 5/5.
We stopped here on our way home. Their coffee and coffee creations are amazing! This place is beautiful and the use of space is creative! Would love Palace coffee in Colorado.
My new go to shop when in Amarillo. Fantastic service, cappuccino, and drip coffee. The light roasted beans was perfectly brewed.
If ever there was the ideal coffee shop this is the one. This is what all other coffee shops should be modeled after. The space is absolutely amazing. Love the outdoor/indoor patio that is dog friendly. Aesthetics are top notch. Staff is friendly and engaging. Prices are reasonable considering the quality. And the whole reason we went - the coffee is excellent.
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, excellent service! 10/10 recommend! So glad we found it as a stop on our trip!!
This is the BEST coffee place we've ever been too! The decor and space is beautiful. It's clean. It's well thought out. The dog friendly (year around) patio is absolutely brilliant. The coffee --- I had an oat milk latte and it's definitely in my top 3 lattes ever! This is now our coffee shop whenever coming through Amarillo! I want to see how I can help you all open a location in Denver! Bravo Palace Coffee you have a fan club from Denver!
Really nice and suave coffee shop with friendly staff and a very clean appearance. Has a lot of seating options and even a patio area that can be closed. It is a great place for catching up or studying! The latte was amazing (Black Capp) and the presentation was well done. Only concern was the pastry. Tried the Almond Croissant and it was pretty stiff unfortunately. Otherwise, pretty good hours for even the weekend and would love to stop by again
I stopped through here on my way to Albuquerque and it was even better than expected. Really excellent coffee and super friendly and attentive people working behind the bar. I felt very welcome and there was a really wide selection of coffee. The space is laid out beautifully with lots of places to sit and you can even watch people roaating coffee.
I honestly found the best coffee in Amarillo. Delicious and the help is awesome!! Everyone was friendly, kind and quick!!! Love it!!
We had a beautiful experience at Palace Coffee! We were passing through and it's always important to us to find a local coffee roaster when we want a nice cup of coffee. I found this place and I am so glad I did. The coffee itself is sustainably sourced and very tasty. The lattes are incredible and they make their own syrups (which is important to me if I'm going to have something with a little "sweet") - try the Aztec Mocha or Bluebonnet! The service was top notch and the barista could not have been friendlier or more helpful (I wish I had gotten her name, but thank you, Barista!). The place is adorable and the vibe is positive, friendly, and "chill". I highly recommend Palace Coffee if you're in the neighborhood.
I had the pleasure of meeting Cole, one of the baristas at the "Palace Coffee Company. He was amazing and took the time to explain a little history about the Palace. I had an amazing latte then had the one and one. I explained how I am planning to open my own small coffee shop in AZ in the near future. Cole was gracious enough to explain the "one and one" which I hadn't tried before. I would like to return and get a little more insight on coffee. I was impressed that there is a roaster in house. How exciting. Roasting beans from around the world. I will be back to experience more bean delight. Thanks Cole and team....
One of the most awesome coffee shops I’ve ever been to. Was blown away by the quality of the space inside. The line moved quickly and I am a traditional drip coffee guy and it did not disappoint. I grabbed a second cup for the road. If I lived in this town I’d make this my home coffee shop. If you’re driving through, it is worth going out of your way.
This is without question the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. I’m finishing up a three month road travel throughout the entire west and I feel I’m an expert right now. 🤣 The espresso was DELICIOUS and perfectly pulled, and for a dollar more I got this cute little setup of Topo Chico and a little chocolate. All for like $5.30. Beyond impressed with the service too. Soooooo kind and cheery. And the space is incredible, with an open air section right up front that is open but protected from weather.
I had a fantastic experience at this coffee shop! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The coffee is rich and full of flavor, clearly made with high-quality beans and care. I especially loved their specialty lattes, they were creative and delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy place to unwind, this spot is definitely worth visiting.
We stopped in on our way to Colorado and it’s delicious! Everyone was so nice and helpful! My boyfriend got the bluebonnet and it’s so good.
Nice atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, great coffee 🤌🏼🤌🏼 good bold flavor without being overly acidic. Definitely the place to stop
I came here around 12:30 on 12/10 to use the WiFi to do some work in between customer visits while I was in Amarillo. I ordered “the Cuban” with coconut milk. It was a delightful latte perfectly balanced with sweetness and the cherry bitters. I highly recommend this drink. The atmosphere was perfect for getting work done, and I ended up staying here a couple of hours. The music was great, and the vibes were peaceful and welcoming the whole time I was there. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I ended up ordering another drink before I left. The mango tea was another fantastic option. This is definitely the place to go if you have some time to kill and want to enjoy delish drinks while you read or use the WiFi.
The best coffee exper on I40 hands down. Make it a stop on your road trip. Super friendly and very welcoming.
Sometimes there is a temptation to do a long winded review but, I think I am well trusted enough that I can get by with just saying, “Go here. It is as good as it gets.” Just go. Spectacular.
Such a cool spot. Building is entirely blacked out on the outside, so it looks closed walking up, but it was open! Quiet darker vibe. Very chill. Great place to do work, go on a date, sit and think… baristas were incredible. Very kind and knowledgeable on coffee. You gotta try the Black Cap! Charcoal infused cappuccino. 100% will return.
Modern and local coffee shop with a quiet, trendy aesthetic. I sometimes meet colleagues here outside of working hours to chat or work over coffee/tea. The service is always been friendly and kind. Staff makes good recommendations when I'm not quite sure what I'm in the mood for. I typically go with one of their unsweet teas because I'm not a big coffee person. It's always been a pleasant experience here and will likely often be back.
This place has the BEST coffee in Amarillo, hands down. The space was really busy and a bit cramped but it was lively and had ample seating. I got an iced lavender latte with a little bit of chocolate and it was unique and perfectly made-not too sweet, not too overpowering lavender. Can't wait to visit again!
Found this place while visiting from Houston and now it’s a must anytime we’re in town! The matcha is wonderful and the crew is so sweet 🙂 they were warm, patient with all my questions and gave great suggestions for places to go in the area. The outdoor/indoor patio was so nice, even on a warm day. The quality of the products, ambience and attentiveness of the staff just can’t be beat!
Cappuccino was excellent and my kid loved hot chocolate. I would recommend to try this out. I would love to visit once again to this place.
Super cute small coffee shop, friendly staff, ordered the mariposa matcha and strawberry matcha anpan. Some of the best matcha I've had with excellent flavor and a delicious flavorful pastry. Nice place to hang out or study.
The closest coffee place to a good Seattle cup I can find in town. Creative latte and delicious pastries, good vibes. Pictured- Aztec mocha delicious but spicy 🤪

Palace Coffee never disappoints! The drinks are always amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is super friendly. It’s the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done. Easily one of the best coffee shops around!
The vibe is so warm and welcoming, and the baristas were so friendly. I stopped by and got a cortado to enjoy and a matcha for the road. Both were amazing. I love how all the syrups and alternative milks are free, it makes it feel guilt-free to customize your drinks. This will definitely be my on my list of coffee stops, especially when passing through Amarillo.
I love palace coffee so much!! I have been coming here multiple times a week for the past 4 years. They literally got me through school and I have never encountered an employee that wasn’t awesome. I love this place and It’s my favorite part of amarillo.

Love the atmosphere and people working their are pleasant! More of a earthy/Hipster vibe. I am a sucker for a chai latte, but the blend of spices was not to my particular liking.
This is a really fun coffee shop. I love the flavor options and interesting combos. The food looked delicious and they had many choices. I didn't get food but had a specialty latte. I was so excited about it, but my small hot latte was lukewarm. I expect more for 6.50. I think the added flavors made it too cold. Unfortunately, I didn't know until I'd driven away. 😕
Been here twice already. Both times the coffee was very mid. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very friendly, but definitely not the best coffee. Hopefully they can improve.

I was in desperate need of a matcha on my road trip and saw this place offered it. It was okay overall! If I could make any refinements, it would be that the milk to matcha ratio was off, too much milk compared to the matcha amount. I’d put the drink in a smaller cup, maybe half the current size, so the flavor comes through stronger. Hand whisking it in a traditional Japanese bowl for 30 seconds to a minute would also really help the flavor and prevent wasting powder. Otherwise the matcha can taste a little chalky and lack that nice micro foam layer on top (that means it was aerated properly). The customer service was super kind though, they added two extra scoops of matcha for free when I asked and really did their best to accommodate. I appreciated that a lot.

I got a latte with vanilla and brown sugar but it tastes like no syrup was added and a bit on the burnt side. Was excited by all the good reviews. Not impressed:/
