Juarez Bogota Reviews
Character! Friendliness! Delicious food! Great menu! Accomodating! Our RV broke down in Amarillo, TX on a trip out West from SC. We were miserably hot, tired, frustrated and hadnt eaten all day. While waiting on an RV repair we found Rosa's because I dont like to eat at the same old chains when traveling. We were stranded with our housedogs and it was blistering hot. They allowed us to come into the covered, air conditioned portion of their patio and gave us cups of water for them. The food was served delicious. It was a fun experience and helped make the experience at Amarillo wonderful.
I ordered the taco plate tonight with no cheese and got home with cheese The manager had the ordered remade AND delivered to my house with a full refund! Thank you for the amazing customer service
Tacos Tuesday special is really good. Simple beef or chicken tacos, rice and beans but its done well. The hard taco shells are crispy and flakes. Well worth a visit.
Rosa's is the go-to for casual Tex-Mex, and never disappoints. However, some locations are of course better than others. This happened to be one of the best, particularly the beef fajitas. Do they come on a sizzling plate like the fancy places? Nah. Do they taste just as good? Yeah, or maybe better than most. Definitely a good value per dollar and thoroughly enjoyable food.
An excellent stop on our road trip! We ordered taco salad and the taco shell was crisp, but not crunchy. Just lightly fried to hold it shape. The beans and meat on the taco salad were incredible! It was a little more lettuce than I like, but I pushed it to the side to get to the hot stuff in the bottom! We also ordered an basket of eight sopapillas. They had honey on the table for us to use. Unlimited refills at the soda fountain. And an amazing salsa bar where we were able to add cilantro and pico de gallo to our taco salads. I wish I had one near me! I would go every week.
Rhonda and her staff worked with me to customize my catering order so it would be just right for my guests! Friendly, professional and hardworking. Thank you very much Rhonda!
I wanted to come to this restaurant for the longest time, and finally today was the day. The place is super cute, I was surprised I wasn’t expecting this kinda of restaurant, is a combination of fast food and seat down restaurant but the best of both worlds. The decorations adorable, they have a condiment island that is fantastic, tons of options. The service, probably was my favorite thing, well trained employees, it was clean, and very helpful people. The food overall was pretty good, sadly I was overwhelmed by the options, but I think my favorite thing was the fresh made tortillas. If you are in Amarillo you should visit them.
I ordered the bacon, cheese, and potato breakfast taco - because eggs and I are not best friends...it was delicious. I love the decor and the music is fitting for the restaurant. There's a lot of parking available and the staff is really friendly. I give them a five star and will be back again.
Rosa’s Cafe is definitely one of our favorite chains and we enjoy it when we find one. This time, I had the nacho salad. I thought it would be larger than it was, but it was good. I also had a tostada and it was great! Mrs. Flip Out got a taco plate and enjoyed it. The flour tortillas are addicting, so we warned you. Easy to get on and off the highway so if you’re needing a quick bite, Rosa’s is great!
Fresh and true, yet packed with flavor and loads of fresh salsa options to top it off. i dont really care for tamales and theres was pretty good. the rice is flavored well and not bland, beans are nice. Got the deluxe sampler and everything was good. tea was a bit bitter was the only off thing. service is great too! will be back! attached lots of pics
Cute place, easy ordering, and lots of seating area. Family friendly, workers are helpful. 3 taco plate for $9 and it was really big, refried beans and lots of extra toppings on the plate, I was full after one! I also enjoyed those poofy tortillas with honey on top as an appetizer.
We were on the road and wanted to go to a reliable place. We have been to other locations and have usually had great experiences. We had to wait about two minutes to have our order taken. We waited a reasonable amount of time for the food. The food was pretty good but I would have liked to see more chicken in the soft tacos. (Pic included)The salsa bar was clean and full. As always, the tortilla was warm and delicious. I would come back to eat again and would recommend this place to anyone who likes Mexican food.
Drive thru service is terrible in the evening. Apparently they have to get orders out quick so they take an order and won’t take another one till the first car leaves. They practically throw your order at you once you do get to the window. One time they didn’t even charge me cause they said I was taking to long with my Apple Pay!!
I had ordered a dozen of pork tamales and once I got home they weren’t fully cooked!! of course I went back respectfully and not wanting to make a big deal out of it (even though they weren’t cooked!) I got the dozen remade (or so I thought) and went back home. Got home and checked them and most of HALF weren’t cooked! Clearly you can tell they weren’t fully cooked! How can you serve that to people?! My family ate the ones that were cooked because CLEARLY the manager didn’t understand. I understand how rough it could be working at a fast food restaurant (I worked at one in the past) but if you do not care about something this SERIOUS, quit your job. I’m all about being respectful but once it came down to having to deal with the same problem TWICE, i draw the line at. Especially when it came to feeding my family. That picture does not give it justice but touching it and the way it looks, you can tell it is not fully cooked.
Yo this place was terrible. This is cafeteria style Mexican food from a can. This location specifically was disgusting when we went. Non of the tables were cleared off. The salsa buffet was trashed and gross. And the bathrooms were a nightmare. It did not seem like any of the staff gave a crap at all.
When I worked at my old job we used to get Rosa’s breakfast tacos with “spicy” beans and I can never remember what they were called so I decided I was going to ask when I went to Rosa’s to get breakfast tacos. When I pulled up through the drive thru I asked the lady if they still have the spicy beans that go on the breakfast tacos. The lady then said yes they are called chorizo beans. Great. So I asked if I could get two breakfast burritos with chorizo beans, egg, cheese and potato’s. The lady then huffed on the speaker and said “hold up you need to repeat that” in a rude tone. So I then repeated my order and asked “the chorizo beans are the spicy beans right?” And then the lady said “OH MY GOSH, so you want the chorizo, egg, cheese and chorizo beans” I said “no, I want the chorizo beans, egg cheese and potato” she then huffed again and was damn near yelling the options of the chorizo breakfast tacos. I was honestly shocked at the service I received through the speaker so I insisted to just keep it at potato egg and cheese. The food was decent but the service was terrible.
Went to the drive through. Ordered queso. Usually they give me chips with it. She just gave me the queso. When I asked about the chips, she got an attitude and said you have to ask for them . So I asked for some chips. She gave me half a bag and tossed it at me. Not good customer service
I couldn't get any ice and no sweet tea was made. I had combo fajitas and both meats was so old we couldn't even eat the chicken. This will be my last time here.
I went and ate there on Memorial day 2 Mondays ago. Me and my wife were traveling through and stopped to get some Rosas. I love Rosas. It was dinner time and this location was dead. Wrote it off to being a holiday. We were craving nachos. We ordered fajita chicken nachos. Figured we could share. Once we went to get the order it was on a small plate. Like a kids size plate. Maybe 15 chips? Super disappointing on the portion size for the price $10. Definitely not enough to share. Then I go order a chicken enchilada plate. The sauce was cold. I brought it back and they made me another. The sauce was a little warmer. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I doubt I will ever return to there again. I feel bad for Amarillo because this location really needs to get there act together. It hit us both wrong that day. Raise your standards Amarillo!
The restaurant is FILTHY. Food was dried & sticky on nearly every table. People coming in had no where to sit due to this. There is trash, food, spilled drinks all over the floor. The salsa & condiment bar containers were mostly empty. The sweet & unsweet tea container were empty. People were standing & waiting for several minutes even after their number was called. I didn’t go into the restroom because I didn’t want to risk it being worse than the dining area. My husbands food was sent out wrong even after the lady taking our order tried to correct the preparer. The metal silverware was filthy in the containers as well like they were never washed, we used the packages plastic ware. Pray for all of us that made the unfortunate decision to eat there this evening. 0 stars & hoping we don’t get food poisoning!!! ***20 minutes later - scratch that, I threw it up. I have the expectation that the kitchen was as bad or worse than the dining area.
