Stopped in on New Years Day. I walk in, and behind the bar is Aaron. We met shortly after he moved here from the midwest, i think. He is why I went there then and why I'm going back now. That and the full-size shuffle board table. JJs has all the local bar charm that you'll need to feel at home

I cannot say enough good things about JJs. We were there for a girls reunion and it was my first time visiting. The vibe was already so good — fun, welcoming and exactly the kind of place you want to spend the night with friends. But what happened after is what made me a forever customer. Somehow my engagement ring slipped off while we were there and I did not realize until later. I was absolutely sick over it. The owner found it and made sure it got back to me. Truly above and beyond in a way you do not see often. I live in Pacific Grove and will now make it a point to come back anytime I am in town. The energy is great but the integrity and kindness are what really set this place apart. So grateful.

We ordered food from sunrise nextdoor, then ate inside J. J's. Had mimosas, and a game of pool. Good crowd, and friendly staff!
