Norms Arleta Reviews
You honestly can't go wrong here. Big menu with solid old school American diner food and plenty more modern and/or healthier dishes. Everything I've had there is good or great. Habanero jalapeño burger last time definitely hit the spot. It's open 24/7/365 and the service has always been great in my experience. Live your best life and go here instead of Denny's.
The fact that this may be the only Norms in the San Fernando Valley may be the reason that this Norms stays so busy. Unless you sit at the counter, there may be a wait to get a table. However, that does not affect the quality of the food or service.
I had a great experience at this NORMS location. The food came out fresh and exactly how I ordered it, but what really stood out was the service. Our server was incredibly attentive, quick, and made the whole dining experience feel smooth and enjoyable. You could tell they cared about the job and the customers. It’s rare to get this level of professionalism and warmth in a busy diner setting. Definitely coming back!
Nacy was an amazing waitress. She was sweet and kept seeing if we needed anything.
I have lunch at Norms a few times a month. I like sitting at the counter since I'm solo. Always have good service and a decent menu selection.
Like Denny’s, NORMS Restaurant is open 24 hours, but if you’re wondering how it’s food compares to the former, I can happily inform you that NORMS is a step above in terms of quality and taste of their food. I didn’t do a side-by-side price comparison of their menus, but it seems NORMS is a just a bit pricier, maybe on average a dollar or two more than Denny’s. However, the difference in price is more than adequately reflected in how good the food tastes. I enjoyed chicken and waffles and the other person had a steak that was tender and flavorful, and the entree included a salad and soup (they have Gumbo!). I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, which was made even better by our server, Daren, who was quick with the condiments and suggestions. I’ll come back here again.
Server Kristina is the absolute best! Went on a Sunday afternoon, her kindness, her presentation, made my dinner taste so much better!!! I love her outfits and her personality!!
Norm's is another sad old dinosaur that ain't what she used to be. The City of Los Angeles can declare this a cultural landmark all they want; they can't call it one of the best family restaurants in Los Angeles. She is a tired, sleepy, overworked image of her former self. It took me 45 minutes to get my cheese omelet - when I did, it was cold. Sad. I used to enjoy this place as a kid. There's a 30-minute wait when it's busy, and there's even tension in the (huge) parking lot to get a good spot. My advice? Look for a local restaurant that is in competition with this has-been, and this includes all of this ilk; Denny's, IHOP, well, you know the kind. Support your local businesses.
The breakfast was great and our waitress Nancy was super nice and fast! I love Norms and this location makes me love it even more!
Diantha was a very nice and respectful waitress very efficient and fast with her service .was very pleasant.will definitely be seating in her section when I come back.
Food was good, service was great. Hector made sure our group of 15 was taken care of and did a great job getting everything out to us. Thanks!
We have been coming to Norm’s and Sherman Way for the last 20 years and it always has delivered quality food, great service and overall good experience. The menu always offers value Which is one of the reasons why we like coming in here
I visited Norms this afternoon with my mom. Maria was our server. She was very helpful through out our visit. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.
Diantha is the sweetest and most attentive person they have on staff. She was an excellent waitress!
Great food great service. They were very busy and we had our food immediately. It was really good too.
#breakfastallday so I live right up the block from this norms location. Everytime I come here the service can be a bit choppy because they are always busy and OPEN. butttttt the food is always great the breakfast, the sandwiches, the burgers are all good go toos when u cant figure it out ....the hot chocolate is underrated but some of the best perfect way to compliment the#pancakes #open24hrs #woodmanshermanway
Norms is a Los Angeles staple. We came on Father's Day and they were able to get our very large group seating together, including 8 children 5 and under and 13 adults. The service was great and timely. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The coffees stayed topped off. Overall, a great diner experience.
First time I came here was back in 2001. Quality had been very consistent which is a good thing. Prices have jumped as high as other places either. I still see very few similar faces here in the last 20 years but good to see some people are still here. Food never lets down and always hits the spot, either for breakfast or late night. There’s always something good to try. I have moved out of town but when ever I come back I try to make time for a quick trip to Norms!
Carlos was AMAZING. He hustles and bustles like nobody’s business and makes the American dining experience awesome. Will definitely be coming back this guy deserves a raise!
Hi! My name is Gruncle Phillip!! And today my waiter norms guy *𝓡𝓸𝓭𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓸* gave me the best service ever! Today I had budgie tenders! My "own kind" of food to eat;). I love the crunchyness and how tender it is from the inside. And the honey muster sauce ooo that was perfect it OOO it hit the spot!👌 I've been going to this restaurant and will keep going to post positive things so please follow for more! Until next time all my budgie children! AND IF YOU GET RODRIGO AS YOUR WAITER TELL HIM GOOD JOB! and give him a tip.
I’ve been coming here for years!!! I’m a big breakfast lover! I could eat it any time of day! So love that these guys are open 24 hrs and serve the best breakfast!!
Josue did an excellent job, he served us with an nice smile and courtesy ,for sure we are coming back more often hopefully he will serve us again thank you Josue .....
1st time at Norms it was real homey Ms Aynne was great . Very polite smiled and although it was slightly busy she made sure my brother and I had everything we needed to be satisfied for our meal and time spent at Norms
I visited the restaurant in Van Nuys and was served by Josue. The food was excellent and the service was 10/10. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I got the habanero jalapeno bacon cheeseburger(double patty), which comes with Habanero Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, batter-fried Jalapeño, Habanero Mayonnaise, Lettuce, Tomato and thinly-shaved Red Onion, also topped off with a heat-blistered Jalapeño set right on top of the burger for presentation purposes- which actually looked pretty awesome. The burger was fantastic! A great amount of spice to it, all while taking bites out of the jalapeno pepper itself. The habanero mayonnaise was quite good and not too spicy itself. The jalapeno cheddar cheese also was good and tolerable. Overall, a very delicious burger that I would order again. My only complaint is that the fries barely covered the plate and could be compared to the size of a kids small fries at a fast food place. I ordered the chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce. They were cooked perfectly. The honey mustard was good as well. I also tried the new Mac n' tots. They are an individual sized serving of tots covered with macaroni and white cheese. It was different compared to cheddar, which is what I would've preferred, but I'm bias in that. Overall a great meal. Also, the person I went with got the country fried steak with eggs and pancakes. They said the pancakes were perfect. The steak was fried perfectly to a crispy texture and very good. A must visit if in the area. The restaurant is a nice old- school style place, that hasany regulars. The waitstaff is also very polite and attentive.
Love this norms. So much variety. Great food. Love the Tuna melt… and Carlos (with face mask) is SUPER nice.
Great food and your served good portions I love to eat breakfast here Steak and eggs for me😛 And you can get great deals on any budget!!
Feels like home, warm & inviting. Great food & service. I had Tom as my waiter and very knowledgeable on the menu , always checking back if I everything was ok & if needed anything else. 10+
Everything about eating here was 5 stars. From the parking availability, to the service, to the atmosphere, to the abundant food choices, to the value, to the quality. Diantha was kind and took great care of us. The wait staff were all pleasant, smiling and appeared to like working there. It was a great experience. My hubs and I shared the club sammich with the onion rings. The avocado was a nice addition, the dill pickle slices were crunchy, and the rings were better than Sonic! Thanks Norms!
2026/02/07 update: Today was a good day to come here for lunch, I was expecting the wait to be long but when I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to see no wait, I got seated immediately. My friend treated me to lunch here for my birthday. Their menu changed from 2 months ago. I was kinda looking forward to a T-bone steak trio but they changed it to a NY Steak Trio. It was good and filling, but I still prefer the T-bone steak trio. The service was friendly and professional and attentive. They checked in with us a couple of times to see if we need anything. ————- 2025/12/25 Update: I came here or my Christmas meal, I ordered the T-bone steak trout was delicious, Nancy was my server, she was friendly and professional. The place was very busy, but they kept everything running efficiently. Updated on 2024/92/05: I haven’t eaten here for a few years so I decided to come by and eat dinner here, there was o wait since it was raining hard. The dining area was the same as before, clean. The waiter and waitress were friendly and professional. The menu has changed a bit from the last time I was here. So I took pictures of it to share here. I come here first the 1lb Porterhouse steak.
Definitely a top contender in the food restaurant division. The food has a different taste than other locations and is definitely worth the wait. It can be busy at some times and it's not so busy others. The orange 🍊 juice is fantastic I highly recommend tasting their organic it seems juice. I had a problem with my debit card here and was unable to pay for my food. My bank card is acting strange. I'm hoping this review pays you out. With over 4 million views on my picture reviews so far.
Diantha was a great waitress. She attended us with kindness and patience. She made the experience so nice. Very nice girl.
Review for December 26th 2021. I haven't been here in a long time. But today I decided to come by myself to enjoy some breakfast. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love the service and the great food here. Thank you for all the great memories throughout the years. Today I was able to enjoy steak shrimp and chicken with onion rings. It was very delicious and very tasty. Thank you so much I really appreciate it.
My husband and I have been eating at this wonderful restaurant since we moved to North Hollywood 16 1/2 years ago ! We always have a very pleasant experience all the employees are very kind very happy very friendly and helpful ! We usually come to this restaurant a lot of times after we have been in the emergency room or sometimes become for birthdays or for a wedding anniversary which is Saint Patrick's Day and we love the food we left the atmosphere we let the people
I love my server, Alicia. She's the best!! 10/10!! I ordered socal French toast, great price for the servings/options you choose!!! Been a norms customer for over 4 years cus the food is sooo yummy:]!!🥹
I love Norms! Food is amazing and the service is great! Nancy our server was super friendly and made us feel like family. No doubt I’ll be back to continue to gain points and try all their new menu items. :D
Nancy was our host and she was amazing. Extremely polite and attentive to our needs. Food was reasonably priced and portions were big. Definitely a great place to eat with your family!
I enjoy my meal every time I come in to this location. Their are menu prices always so affordable and the food is very consistent. The atmosphere is nice to be in since the music is at a nice level
The food here is amazing! I love their new menu items and the service is awesome. Cynthia is such a great server, shoutout to her 😄
Juan was our server and he was very attentive and efficient. The food was delicious and the price were reasonable especially because our meal included a half sandwich, soup, salad and fountain drink. Sign up for the reward program to earn free food. My bill for 3 people was around $55 and I redeemed my points and my bill came down to $38. I love these discounts! Great food, great service and great prices here at the Norms in Van Nuys!
From the minute we walked in, the service was great. Everyone was friendly. This is the first NORMS I’ve been to where every single employee looks happy to be there. I absolutely love that the Manager is on the floor working from the ground level with his team. He was also very friendly. The whole staff came to sing happy birthday to my sister. They were all so enthusiastic. This is the first time in over 15 years that my family has been together after years and I mean years of addiction today was the first time we have all been sober and together for breakfast. Norms made it the best experience ever. We drove 2.5 hours from up north to eat at a NORMS because when we lived in LA we loved NORMS. My parents and sisters still live in LA so we decided on this one. Best choice we could have made. NORMS is really where life happens ❤️
Had an amazing experience at NORMS! The food was exactly what you want from a classic spot like this — fresh, hot, comforting, and absolutely hit the spot. Everything came out quickly, portions were generous, and the quality was way better than expected. But the real standout of the night was ALICIA, our server. She was genuinely incredible — friendly, attentive, upbeat, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down. She checked on us at just the right times, had a great attitude, and honestly elevated the entire experience. You can tell she really cares about her job and her customers. Because of Alicia, this wasn’t just a good meal — it was a great experience. Huge shoutout to her and the whole NORMS team. We’ll absolutely be back and will be asking for Alicia again! 🙌🍽️
Food was amazing! New food items. New menu. The place had a paint job done. Looks more cleaner. Carlos our waiter took care of us really good. Definitely coming back!
I was there for dinner. I ordered the hawaiian bread burger sliders. They were pretty good, had good flavor and meat was juicy not dry. My husband ordered the steak, shrimp and veggies. He wasn't too happy with the steak, said it was undercooked. I had coffee with my meal. The waitress was pretty good at noticing when I needed a refill.
Diner food in mid-century diner. LA history. Super service. Lots to choose from for everyone. I like going on Fridays ordering the full dinners because I really like their homemade clam chowder. Great onion rings. Everything tastes homemade. Lots of specials especially if you sign up for their app. Weekdays senior 10%, too.
We have been going to this Norms for years. The service is 9/10 good! Food is always fresh and yes you might wait 20-30 minutes for a seat on the weekends. But that just means its busy and popular so its worth the wait for sure. This is a staple in our go-to sit down spots in the valley and it should be yours!
Kristina was the best and amazing waitress. She is very attentive, polite and courteous. She deserve a big bonus and hourly raise. It is hard to find employee like her nowadays
We haven’t eaten at this location in years, because the last time we were there the food and service were terrible. We decided to go and try it once again to see if anything had changed, we are so HAPPY that we went—the food was delicious, and our server Kristina, was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming!! We will definitely be eating here more often; especially, when Kristina is working!!!!
The fact that this may be the only Norms in the San Fernando Valley may be the reason that this Norms stays so busy. Unless you sit at the counter, there may be a wait to get a table. However, that does not affect the quality of the food or service. The kitchen staff is effortlessly pumping out plate after delicious plate. And the wait staff quickly gets your order to you piping hot. My server Aynne was especially attentive and made sure that I was satisfied. And though I have patronized Norms Restaurants all over Los Angeles County, the food tasted just a little better at this one. I will be back.
08/31/2025 This place is memorable to me. I first tried this place through my mom. I remember around 2007 till 2009 all the way till 2010, my mom would be off from work at Quest Diagnostic around 5:00 a.m. and they would come home and bring me breakfast with 3 eggs, hashbrown, 3 strips of bacon, 3 sausages, and 3 butter milk hot cakes. It was my favorite and I never knew it was called " LUMBER JACK BREAKFAST" But today, I decided to try their "1 LB PORTER HOUSE STEAK AND EGGS". The steak was somehow hard but over all it was great. Their hashbrown and pancakes were super. And oh before I forgot, they have good "CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKES" For only almost $40 it was worth the experience.
My first time at Norm’s and to me it’s one of the last wonderful little diners left. Restaurant is big with plenty of seating. Walked in and was seated right away. Server was very nice and tended to us very frequently. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich combo with fries. It was delicious and piping hot.
NORMS Restaurant, August 17, & 18, 2024 Me & my daughter & her sister & her brother we all came in here for a late night dinner & some "comfort food" so we got the special me & my daughter got the Steak 🥩 & shrimp 🍤 & chicken wings 🍗 plus a baked potato 🥔 & a drink🥤or some ☕ coffee & her brother got the Steak 🥩 & Eggs 🥚🥚plus hot cakes 🥞 & a drink 🥤 & her sister had gotten some coffee ☕ & she ate lite. "Thank You" for making our night a good one & the food was so delicious & filling! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s Great Job! 😎👍 P.S. I got some extra tartar sauce for my 🍤 as you can see 👀!
Great place going for years and I mean years !!! Food is awesome more options now , great vibe always good to come with family
It was packed for a friday morning but the waitress took care of every table and kept everything organized. I was impressed by the service and the water tasted clean! (I say this because most restaurants I go to use tap water which leaves a bad after taste). As far as the food goes, it is decently priced for as much food as you get. I recieved a whole plate of food as well as pancakes and it was all really good. My boyfriend loved his steak and fried chicken plate. Overall pretty great place with little wait time even though it was so crowded. My only complaint is that it's a little smokey in there.
Even though we have a penchant for hoity-toity California cuisine / new American brunches, every now and then we want a good basic diner breakfast, and that brought us to Norms on a very busy Saturday morning. We were seated fairly quickly despite the fact that the restaurant was super busy and filled with Van Nuys locals. We had basic breakfast stuff done absolutely the way it should've been done. I had two eggs and French toast. I had them make the eggs with egg whites, and they were scrambled perfectly and especially tasty with the cheese and onions I had them add. The French toast was also perfect. I also had a side of hashbrowns. They looked dry but they actually tasted great. Crispy on the outside and cooked all the way through, nice soft potatoes on the inside. The coffee was OK. Definitely better than the thin “brown water” I've had at some American restaurants where they really don't know what they're doing in terms of coffee, but this definitely could have been stronger. I love a good strong cup of coffee and I'm always a little bit disappointed when I’m brought coffee at a breakfast restaurant that doesn't give me a nice bold punch in the face at my first sip. (To be fair it did taste a little better after having some of the sweetness of the French toast and syrup taste in my mouth…Ahh chemistry what can't you fix?) We would definitely come again when in the mood for a basic breakfast. You definitely get the feeling that you're in a classic, old-school valley diner when you're at Norms.
They’re clearly understaffed because on a Saturday afternoon there were tons of open tables, but we still had to wait 10 minutes or so to be seated but once we were, the food was phenomenal perfect reliable, delicious diner food, and very friendly service.
NORMS! Revisited one of our favorite diner style restaurants after a rather long sabbatical. This time we found Norms back as we remembered it. Lots of diner food, reasonably priced. In addition we had an excellent server taking care of us today. I had the blackened whitefish, baked potato with Albondigas soup and salad. My husband had the sirloin with Gumbo. We are happy to add Norms back on our list of restaurants we like to visit in the Valley.
I have been a regular at Norms for quite some time, often visiting during rush hour. As expected, the wait times were lengthy, which I always attributed to the high volume of customers. However, my experience yesterday at 3 PM was quite different and somewhat disappointing. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty with only about four tables occupied. Despite this, it took 30 minutes for me to be seated. What added to my frustration was the lack of communication from the staff; no one checked in with me or provided any updates on the wait. Fortunately, my experience was significantly improved by the waitress who attended to us. I didn’t catch her name, but she was an older lady with reddish hair. Her service was excellent—she took our order promptly and was very attentive throughout our meal. If it hadn't been for her exceptional service, my rating for the restaurant would have been lower. The food, as always, was delicious, which is a testament to Norms' consistent quality. However, the wait time and lack of communication during a non-rush hour were disappointing. I hope this was an isolated incident and that service will be more efficient in the future.
Kristina was very attentive and good, with a great personality. The food was ok. I had the spicy burger, but the hamburger was not a homemade burger, and the fries were not all that. My husband got the salmon, and he said that was good. My grandson got fish n chips, and that was good. The onion rings were ok. The best thing was our waitress. They do senior discount at certain times and military discount, for the person that was in the military only. I may go back.
Always good food but recently they only serve carrots as vegetables and I don’t like steamed carrots 🥕 please change that. Besides that the staff is super nice. We have a guy from Honduras and my sister in law felt great speaking in Spanish with him. Definitely a plus when we speak Spanish!
The busboy made my table and i feel rushed and he would take my plates without asking when my table and i were still eating, overall the service was okay and the waitress did an excellent job to make sure we had everything we needed.
Got the trout dinner special to go. It was over fine on the flat top and hard. Trout is a very thin fish. Tell these cooks they don't have to have it on the griddle so long.
As I ordered i was offered a jalapeño with my breakfast I said yes but it was not disclosed I was being charged. I would have been ok to pay if it was disclosed at the beginning. I had the Bigger Better breakfast coffee and a small apple juice for my kid total cost $16.53 and the now add a 3% surcharge to your bill for doing business in California. The food was good
Norms, where life happens... For some, but not all... This long standing, big chain diner Cafe has a retro modern classic feel with a easy menu. They have parking for days and plenty of crew for all your service needs and wants. The prices are more than fair, but they do lack some modern options in food as far as dietary needs for those who have them, like myself other than a house salad, which is pretty solid. One of the classiest and friendliest locations I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
Mediocre food for your buck, portions are generous. Unfortunately some foods lack flavor, my steak didn't have much flavor and was chewy. Prices are good, staff is friendly and attentive. Place gets crowded usually so there could be a wait. Plenty of parking available on their lot.
Update: went to norms for an early dinner and we were disappointed in the food , particularly the main entrees this time around. My pasta had no flavor and it was greasy , the "garlic" bread didn't taste like garlic at all. The shrimp was ok but sadly the gravy on the mashed potatoes was extra salty. I think if the cooks took a bit more time to make the food it would of tasted better. The only reason I say that the food came out quick, one thing after another (wouldn't have minded to wait for better quality.). The positive was the service , and the jumbo soup was delicious. Decent food had pancakes and an omelette both good, lots of parking and for the most part good service. This time, quick and steady service during a weekday before noon.A while ago went on a weekend and they completely forgot about us at the table, wait almost an hour so we just left. So don't recommend to go during the weekend. Super busy, plus the wait before being seated can be 30-45 mins. Have had great service with a waitress from a late night/morning 3am once.
The combo of cheeseburger, fries, and drink was the size of a kids meal with like 6 fries . Lol a kids meal for $13.50 I had to order something in addition because I was still hungry. Not a deal. If you want to go somewhere that is stuck on their own name as opposed to serving quality food go to Norms. They were more in love with the idea of them being Norms than them providing good service and good food they're in love with being vtheir reputation from the past. My take is they're far cry from where they used to be but that tends to be the case in most restaurants nowadays.
Usually this place is alright. I stopped on the way from work. Ordered steak and potatoes TO GO. waited 45 minutes.... I watched my order sit on the counter for 15 minutes before someone decided to pay attention. Ever since the renovation, they went straight downhill. THE AUDACITY TO SERVE COLD STEAK. I ended up leaving hungry. They didn't even offer to heat it up or fire it again. Cancelled and Cold. Horrible experience.
My wife and i have been coming here for 10 years. Unfortunately we won't be coming back here for a very long time. The standards this Norms currently operates in is a far cry from the high standards they once had. The turkey patties were bad, they tasted microwaved. The eggs were hard and tasteless, they had no pickles in the entire restaurant and these were the patties in my burger. Both patties are thinner than a single pattie from burger king yet I paid 3x the price. The whole management team needs be fired before they run this place to the ground.
I walked in sat at the bar and wasn't serviced by anyone, I'm not intentionally posting a negative review, however that's a loud reputation when someone can walk into a restaurant full of workers and not be addressed by anyone... First and possibly my last time
This place sucks! I ordered the bigger better breakfast for pick up on my way home from work. They forgot my pancakes! They gave me all the wrong condiments. The hash browns were burnt. The eggs were runny. The sausage tasted soapy. I got home and was so tired and angry. No way was i driving back there. Man, why don't i learn. Every time i go to the place it sucks! Why do people go here? I just don't get it. I paid a tip too! To add insult to injury and got no pancakes in return. This happened today 8/6/2025
This fruit salad is so old it tasted rotten. I almost threw-up.I went there long ago and the server a female middle eastern was slow and kept ignoring us. The meat and very tuff to eat. Today Carlos my waiter made the difference. Very nice, polite, attentive and efficient. He recommended the t bone . He s
I was really looking forward to my burger from Norm’s today — I’d been craving it all day while watching the Dodger game. I placed a pickup order to make things quick and easy, but the experience turned out to be frustrating. When I arrived, my order was already sitting behind the counter. The girl at the register confirmed it was mine, and I asked for some ranch on the side. Instead of finishing up my order, she walked off to handle other tasks, leaving me standing there waiting. It took over ten minutes just for her to bring me the ranch. By the time I finally got home to eat, my burger was cold and disappointing. I waited all day for this meal, and getting it cold because of poor service really ruined the experience. I expected better from Norm’s
3 am and still have to wait around 20 minutes for a table cause this place is just a mess, nasty, and dirty like I've never seen any other NORMS location. Every single table was dirty, floor, not to mention the restroom... I'm sure a porta potty in skid row is cleaner. Corporate manager and Health department should take a look on this ASAP.
Unorganized. One waiter tells you to give him just a few minutes to clean a table and seat you, then they go seat another party at the table, and the host tells you that you’ll have to wait another 15 minutes. We wasted 30 minutes then before we decided to just leave.
Came tonight and was just horrible our waiter took a good 30min to take our order we didn’t get drinks till one of us where like can we get a drink menu. To top it off everything was disgusting and burnt we ask to take it back but she brought us the same plate. If your the manager of the restaurant please reach out to me I would like to talk to you.
Took over 40 minutes with no kitchen service so I did complain. We still were missing 1 lunch plate and another omelet plate still had egg shells cooked with the eggs 🥚.
I recently ordered a baked potato from this place, and it was a terrible experience. The potato was rotten and completely inedible. It had an awful smell and taste, making it impossible to eat. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of food served here. This was a complete waste of money, and I will not be ordering from this establishment again.

Arleta's Norms: A Valley Icon's Delicious Comeback
If you're cruising through Arleta, you've probably spotted Norms, and for many in the San Fernando Valley, this particular location isn't just another diner. It’s a bustling hub that, despite its popularity often leading to a wait for a table (unless you snag a counter seat!), consistently delivers on its promise of classic American comfort food and genuinely warm service. Some long-time locals might recall a period when this Norms wasn't quite hitting the mark, but let me tell you, those days...
