Bar across from the Alfieri Theater. We had an aperitivo at lunchtime. The owner is a friendly guy, a little pushy, but he does it in a very natural way. The aperitivo is standard but well-prepared and quite comprehensive. Prices are a little higher than average. The place is very clean and has plenty of tables outside that are always tidy.

Un locale in una posizione davvero strategica, situato in pieno centro e proprio di fronte al teatro, perfetto per un aperitivo prima o dopo uno spettacolo. I cocktail sono ben preparati e accompagnati da un ottimo tagliere di stuzzichini, con ingredienti di qualità e un’attenzione particolare alla presentazione. Tuttavia, l’esperienza viene in parte rovinata dall’atteggiamento del personale, che risulta spesso distaccato e poco accogliente. Un vero peccato, perché il locale avrebbe tutte le carte in regola per essere un punto di riferimento in città

Il posto si chiama "Caffè degli Artisti" ma c'è un cartello che dice "non è una caffetteria". Consiglio vivamente ai titolari di cambiare nome.

Maleducazione e scarsa pulizia. Entrare e consumare sembra quasi un favore che fai tu a loro. No conti separati, niente Satispay, e risposte infastidite anche a domande banali – come il nome del cane, l’unico elemento simpatico. Il locale si chiama “Caffè degli Artisti”, ma attenzione: c’è un cartello gentile come una porta in faccia che recita “non si fa caffetteria”. Forse “Circolo della Scortesia” sarebbe stato più coerente, soprattutto per quei fastidiosi esseri chiamati turisti, che magari non capiscono l’italiano e credono di essere i benvenuti entrando e chiedendo un espresso. Prima e ultima volta.

Bisognerebbe fare un test di ingresso anche a chi decide di intraprendere un’attività aperta al pubblico. Il proprietario è un gran maleducato, ti tratta a pesci in faccia ed è tutto un “no”. No caffè, no prenotazioni, no conti separati, no satispay. Che poi uno può fare ciò che desidera nel proprio locale, ma l’atteggiamento quasi offensivo è intollerabile e mi chiedo ancora come possa tenere aperto, visto che tutti la pensiamo allo stesso modo. Asti è davvero piccola. Cambiate locale.

Umanità ed educazione zero. Volevo un aperitivo prima delle spettacolo, ma non c'erano posti a sedere, mi hanno messo all' angolo dicendomi se volevo potevo aspettare che si liberasse un posto. Morale della favola, il posto si è liberato ma il titolare mi ha invitato a rimanere in piedi all' angolo ed aspettare ancora che ci avrebbe pensato lui. Invece aspettava che si riempissero tavoli e nonostante rimanessero vuoti mi ha lasciato un' ora in piedi a consumare un piccolo aperitivo annacquato. Se non sei più di uno non fai soldi, quindi puoi pure stare in piedi come i cavalli. Pulizia scarsa. Il proprietario dovrebbe imparare dal suo cane, che mi ha dimostrato più umanità di lui. Traete la vostra conclusione.

Il proprietario è la persona più maleducata mai conosciuta. La cameriera altrettanto scortese e scorbutica. Ti trattano gratuitamente a pesci in faccia! Mai ricevuto un servizio così terribile nella mia vita. Consiglio percorso psicologico per risolvere i fortissimi disagi emotivi.

I literally just went there. They told me they don't serve coffee here at Caffè degli Artisti, only aperitifs. Which is obviously not true. Well done. Edit your answer later: I've seen other reviews, but I also saw that you have a coffee machine, so you're just kidding us? I've also seen others point out your "education." And you seem proud of it, too. Working with the public requires a certain level of determination...

A terrible impression in 15 seconds flat. We walked in at 10 PM to order a coffee, and the tipsy-looking gentleman behind the counter shouted (literally) that the place wasn't a coffee shop. We walked out. Given the statement, and the force with which it was expressed, perhaps the "coffee" sign plastered across the entrance should be reevaluated. The star should be removed, rather than added.

Artists' café, with prominently displayed ILLY logos and a coffee machine in the "window"; it's a shame about the sign at the entrance that says "WE ARE NOT A CAFE." The owner reiterated this sign verbally and polemically at the entrance. To avoid posting obnoxious signs and giving irritated explanations, I strongly recommend changing the sign.
