Best Guinness pour in Astoria. Bartenders had some high turnover a few years back, but the current staff is on a roll. Trivia is always packed with the loyal regulars. They've got Sunday Ticket for NFL season. Lots of great live music and other events all year. Snacks are available behind the bar, but they let you bring in outside food. Solid neighborhood Irish pub.

This place doesn't serve any food. Butt it doesn't hide from what it is. It's an old school Irish dive bar, and it super chill and great place to hang out with friends

I went and it was empty but the drinks are decently priced for Queens, and I loved the decor

Great service!! Great staff. They gave out 1 shot and 1 drink on the house. I would say I'm telling all my friends, but they were already at the pub with me, lol

Amazing atmosphere! Very welcoming and the space is intimate but large enough for big parties! A few “therapy dogs” were accompanying the clients and it made for a super chill, fun atmosphere. This place rocks! I recommend to anyone looking for a great little Irish dive bar extravaganza heheh

Just went there once…but I noticed you have some options and fun things to do… you can play dart 🎯 watch sports on a large screen 📺, hang by the bar or seat at the table with friends.

deb daytime bartender when I usually go until 7 is the best. So nice and welcoming so happy I found this spot. Super affordable much better than sissy mgnuies that tries charge Times Square prices.

This place was truly a hidden gem that we came across on our trip to Astoria. It’s a proper no frills Irish pub serving amazing pints of Guinness. The bartenders were some of the most friendly people I’ve come across. Great conversation with them, and I’ll definitely stop by everytime I’m back in Astoria.

Nice old school bar. The bartender Aaron Murphy is the best bartender in Astoria. He got class, friendly, quick, and on point. I only try to go there when he is working. There is another bartender I think his name is Daryl. He's always grouchy, but he smiles once in awhile 😄 Overall great environment and cool peeps.

I’m new in town have had the pleasure of going to this pub twice. Both time the bartenders were great very friendly and made me feel at home. The crowd was amazing. The locals took time to introduce themselves while asking me if I would like to join them. Can’t wait to go later to watch Super Bowl! Go RAMS🍺🏈

Really solid neighborhood pub. Drinks were good, bartenders personable, prices fair. Luckily they are close to our apartment and I’m so glad we finally got the chance to check it out. We will definitely be back.

They don't call this one of the top black out bars in NYC for a reason. Great kickbacks, bartenders are super friendly and the taps rotate. Great place to drink, watch sports, day drink or end the night! Love the rover!

Bartenders are awesome and super sociable. They treat their customers well and the prices are pretty good for a bar. My friends and I come here all the time they practically know us now cause its sort of hanging out with friends and not just bar.

All you need to know is that this place is a quite and classic pub that you can have a drink and some conversation and not be harassed. Mike is one of the best bartenders I've ever experienced. You never get ripped off. You never feel rushed. And the bathrooms are clean enough. You can get you some darts on if you like and the music is right up my alley.

Meh. The bartenders are top notch but I don't get a friendly feel from the place. Everyone there is in their nitch and are not interested in any outside comversation. Though I have heard people love going there... so kudos, and hence the higher rating. Ps. Fix your dart board. It's like throwing at mangled trash... which is probably why your playerd are so good.

The atmosphere was not suitable to our style but we gave it a try anyway. Ordered a LIT and it tasted like straight up coke. We told the bartender and she tried to add a little liquor on top 😂😂. What an experience on this particular day as I had to go to a third location after this one to try to enjoy my evening. First La Vecina disappointed us and now Irish Rover.
