The Coffehouse at Caroline Austin Reviews
Caroline is split 3 ways. Coffehouse Caroline Upstairs at the Caroline All these 3 are in the Element/A lot lobby. Out of the 3, we didn't experience the Caroline. We did enjoy the Coffeehouse and the "Upstairs" Location is key. Downtown Austin. I enjoy the busy downtown vibe and this coffee house had that. I find calmness in that and it definitely catered to that side of me. As for the coffees, we had a Cortado and a Horchata latte. Both were crafted well and tasted delicious. We ate breakfast at "Upstairs" and it was legit too. Great spread and everything tasted great. Kiddos loved the live pancakes station. Overall, I would recommend the Coffeehouse and if you're staying at the Element/Aloft, definitely grab a bite at "Upstairs".
Great coffee shop in the heart of the Austin Downtown in Alot lobby. Plenty of place on first and second floor. There are some good coffee options and food looks great. Next time I will the the food. The staff is very nice.
One of my favorite places to go. Nice cup of coffee, tasty pastries and chill atmosphere.
Their baked goods are delish! Cinnamon roll is tops.

January 17th is a bit early for Valentines decorations don’t you agree?
Coffeehouse at Caroline saved our trip to Austin during Christmas because they were open the entire time despite many other places marked themselves open but they were not! We had many breakfast here and everything was really delicious. Blueberry muffins are out of this world- literally. I want to shout out to 2 team members, Chloe who was at the register on our last day. She was so kind, I want to thank you for her hospitality! As we were talking to Chloe, Nathaniel from the Engineering dept of the hotel stopped by and he also said hi, he was very nice too!. Hotel management: Please make sure to show appreciation to both of them.
Public wifi, delicious coffee, and upscale café vibe
excellent service ! The baristas is very friendly and welcoming ! I am a tourist here and i just randomly dropped by. I would like to grab a ice coffee. Unfortunately they don’t accept cash or apple pay. I was tried to leave, and the barista just offer me a complimentary coffee. He’s such a endearing guy. It means the whole world to me especially i have gone through a terrible trip in Austin.
My girlfriend said it’s the best croissant she has ever had! The service was nice and fast also.

The food options are standard I liked the small breakfast burritos. The coffee options are bad Ionly one flavor and it literally taste like strong Folgers. Just gross.
The shop was super cute and they had some yummy options on the menu. My boyfriend and I got the Mexican iced coffee and marshmallow latte and 2 chocolate croissants. The service on the other hand was interesting…… my cashier was fine but one of the baristas was pretty rude. I’ve been a server and barista and fast food employee for years and it’s just frustrating when I do my best to be kind to customer service workers and they bite back at me. I could not care less if you make a mistake we’ve all been there before but when 10 min pass and the croissants are still in the display case I will kindly remind u and ask for them . Which is what I did, I got the attention of a barista and asked if we could get the croissants and she only responded with annoyance….. I’m sorry but I already paid for it and we were on a schedule so we needed to leave. Anyways my boyfriend also saw her stop a coworker from taking the croissants out of the oven and proceeded to let them burn…. I actually ended up burning my finger on it and the chocolate was burnt unfortunately. I’m just confused as to why the treatment. Austin is a very diverse city so I want to bet on it not being a race thing or age thing, or gender thing. Either way I approached nicely and respectfully as I know the stress of the job and only received negativity in return which is just stupid yall. AND MY CROISSANT WAS BURNT AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

To start off the coffee shop was a very nice atmosphere and I loved the options on the menu itself which made me gravitate towards trying it out. I ordered two chocolate croissants and two coffees which seemed like a simple order and tipped 20%. We got our coffees at a reasonable time, but we had to wait a while for our croissants which is not a big deal since I understand that you get busy and forget sometimes. My girlfriend went up to the counter to ask politely for the croissants which were still in the case to have them warmed up and the girl with the red bob cut gave her a terrible attitude and seemed offended that we asked for the croissants. We chalked it up to nothing and sat down again till 10 minutes passed by and there was still nothing. We started looking over to see how far along it was and the workers seemed to be whispering to eachother about us while glaring at us which was unpleasant. It hit just over 15 minutes and another man in a white shirt to grab the croissants out of the oven which came out burnt and were more crispy than flaky. The guy with the long hair and the girl with the red bob cut both gave it with attitude. I understand being busy as I myself have worked customer service for years, but this unpleasant experience will make me not want to go here again or ever recommend to others.
Cookies are good but the quality of the coffee is the same you would get at a gas station.

I ordered Uber delivery and this is what I got. Two drinks were almost empty..and cold brew was missing the cream.

Service is so bad. No urgency. Sat there for 10 minutes waiting for my croissant. I finally got up and ask and they never did anything with it. Staff just talking to each other and standing around. Awful service.
I thought the drink was good (blonde honey sugar latte…) However, the service wasn’t that fantastic. It seemed more like I was a hassle to serve than anything. Kind of pretentious. I’d recommend Dutch Bros coffee!
I went there for a quick drink. When I got there the blonde barista wasn’t friendly and cold towards me. My “detox juice” was overpriced for just juice. I went to the coffee shop expecting great service, but that’s not what I got.
Cinnamon rolls were dry and were nothing special whatsoever.

Barista picked gunk stuck underneath his shoe then proceeded to make my drink in full view unfazed without washing hands.
