⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ANTHONY is amazing! You can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. The food is always cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and made with care. Beyond that, he’s just a great person to be around cool, friendly, and welcoming to everyone who comes in. He talks to everybody, makes people feel comfortable, and brings great energy to the place!! It’s rare to find someone who’s both talented in the kitchen and genuinely kind with people, but Anthony is exactly that. You can feel the heart he puts into his work. Much respect….keep doing what you’re doing. God bless 🙏🏽

Honestly, the spot has one of the best happy hour deals ever when it comes to drinks. It’s pretty affordable, especially since they open their new diner next-door. I like coming here before UT games, the vibe is nice and they have very large screens all over the place so it’s pretty hyped up, the vibe is good. Everything is covered in vintage UT memorabilia. Nice patio vibes, conveniently located in West campus so it’s a nice spot for UT students .

I thought this place would be mid at best- it's bar in the middle of West campus, how could it actually be?? Boy was I wrong. Three burgers in and this is still one of the best burgers I've had in Austin??? Everything is so fresh, juicy, SEASONED, and made with love. The flavors melt together so perfectly and I love how they get the patty edges to crisp. They make their sauces in house, and as a ranch lover I was more than pleased. They've got one burger option and that's all you need. Reasonably priced ($13) and the interior is adorable- I had no idea they had a separate building from the main bar. The waffle fries ($7/ $4with burger) are scrumptious and the perfect color with not too much grease. The dirty fries are decent, definitely good to share with multiple people because it's a lot and a bit intense. Wish it had a little more chicken, which was perfectly crispy, moist and flavored. Overall, you gotta try this damn burger y'all. My roommate and I were salivating to have it again.

Hugh is my boy I’ve never met a bartender who’s so far to his clients. Not only does he satisfy all his guests he entertains them and makes them feel valued as a customer. I’d never come back to any other bartender than Hugh he is simply the goat and if you don’t get a drink from him you did victory lap wrong. some may say he is hubby material.

Victory Lap isn’t just a college bar—it’s the quintessential student hangout that nails the perfect mix of atmosphere, food, and value. From the moment you step inside, the vibrant yet cozy décor and well-chosen music create an electric ambiance that’s both welcoming and invigorating. The menu is a standout, offering mouthwatering burgers, crispy wings, and a variety of delicious options that are as flavorful as they are satisfying. Best of all, the prices are incredibly student-friendly, with fantastic happy hour deals and daily specials that ensure you get great value without straining your budget. Victory Lap is the ultimate celebration of college life, making it the go-to spot for unforgettable nights and casual get-togethers.

Victory Lap Bar on the west side of campus is hands down one of my favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendliest staff—Cameron, Dre, Nico, and the whole team make you feel right at home. They’re not only super personable, but they’re also really knowledgeable when it comes to drink recommendations. I’ve asked for their suggestions a few times, and each time they’ve nailed it, tailoring the drinks to exactly what I was in the mood for! And don’t even get me started on the food—it's incredible! You wouldn’t expect such amazing food at such an affordable price, but Victory Lap delivers. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or something more substantial, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-visit. Great vibes, awesome staff, and top-notch drinks and food. I’ll definitely be back!

Allysen was the best bartender I’ve had in awhile! She also tells the best dad jokes. 10/10 🤌🏻

The best bar in west campus to watch Texas games. There is plenty of space to move around and several TVs, including a jumbotron outside. The bartenders are fast, make great drinks, and fun to talk to. Nico in particular has the best taste in music of all the bartenders. Cam, the general manager, does an excellent job of organizing events and interacting with customers.

Love the atmosphere plus the frozen margaritas were fantastic! Lots of great drink specials and the energy was insane for game watching. All the go-to's are available on the food side and too many favorites to mention. It's a one stop shop for your sports bar experience.

Victory Lap is one of my favorite bars for a few reasons: Game day experience is next level, the jumbotron is huge and there's no shortage of space to watch the game. The bar food is classic. They often have live music. The drinks are cheap and there are multiple bars so I typically never wait for drinks. Really love this place.

Originally came here for the swiftie week. The movie was on a Friday and they started the movie an hour late, there was also no free popcorn like they had advertised, and they ended up cutting the movie short. It was a slightly disappointing visit, it was also my first time there. The atmosphere was really nice though and reasonably priced drinks so I will definitely keep visiting, however I prob won’t try coming for more events after seeing how poorly planed it was.

One star off as the bartenders did not seem to want to be there. They were much more interested in talking to their friends than helping customers. But the atmosphere is GREAT and the food and drinks were good.

TRASH. Service is unacceptable. We had an issue and politely asked to speak to a manager, only to be told he was “too busy” to come over and to catch him if we see him outside. He is also too busy to fix the fire hazard in the bathroom. Clearly, customer concerns and safety are not a priority here. The bartender was dismissive making it clear that our experience & concerns didn’t matter.

I wanted to go here with my bf one night, when we got to the entrance the bouncer happily checked my ID but after checking my bfs ID he then asked us if we knew about an event? After checking socials and watching other people enter we concluded there was no ‘event’ that night. I’m not one to pull this card but I think it was only after seeing my bf was Asian he did not want to let us in. Extremely rude we just wanted to try victory lap so we went to cables instead. If there really was some exclusive ‘event’ would appreciate it being more clear on social media or online!

Becareful of the water drenched astro turf. You have to order your drinks & your food from 2 different buildings. While we were there a man walked in with a beverage from another restraunt. The manager stepped behind the bar ripped it out of the mans hand tossed into the trash and then went off on him. It was very off putting to watch that interaction. Secondly. Their menu lists that their burgers come with cheddar cheese , ketchup & pickle! Well, it came with american cheese, bread & butter pickles and was so drenched in Ketchup it was soggy!

I guess the bartenders can just charge whatever they’re feeling at the time. I went when they were having a $20 bucket special and got charged $40. The bartender said she thought it was because of the type of beer I got and the special was for bud light. Ok totally understand but then come to find out my friend who was there the same night got charged $20 for the exact same bucket I got. A couple other people had some weird discrepancies that night too. I reached out via insta and they gave me an email but it’s been over a week with no response. Cute bar just watch what they charge you.
