Tetto Belfast Reviews
Lovely food and even lovelier staff. First time here in Belfast and the staff made us feel very welcome - our server was such an angel! Food was incredible and the decor is gorgeous.
It was a great experience for a less formal dinner night on our weekend trip. Great value and decent food. Great selection of cocktails. Pity on the included service charge for a table of 2, sort of leaves a bitterness at the end of the meal. Would generally prefer to leave a cash tip.
Have been here twice for lunch and for an event in the rooftop bar as well. Love the atmosphere, decor and music so much. The food and cocktails are really fab and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating with our baby too. Highly recommend!
All of us really enjoyed our food, bit different from the standard options which I really enjoyed, the price was fine and certainly worth it (our meals were all under £20). The atmosphere was lovely and our waitress was really nice, friendly, attentive, and as one of our group was late they kept his pizza in the oven longer for us and offered to reheat it.
Couldn't fault any aspect of the meal/ evening. The food was amazing..the best seafood linguine I've ever had.
The food is amazing and atmosphere was great but the service was terrible. We ordered drinks, by the time our food came we had finished our drinks and asked to order drinks and they never came back. They had people just standing around and I had to physically get up and get them when I was eating and to get our bill!!
We had a lovely meal here on Saturday. Lovely setting, beautiful food, wine and cocktails. The girl that served us was called Kwan, she was great. Thanks to her for going above and beyond to ensure that our dinner experience was excellent. We will definitely be back
Gorgeous spot, lovely pizza, friendly staff, very clean. Prices comparable to other similar establishments so can't complain about price, we are where we are with that at the moment. Really enjoyed here.
Visited the first night of a new menu and left truly impressed. Reminded us of the big mamma group restaurants throughout Europe, albeit not quite as polished. Food dished up was superb, and the service and presentation was very smooth and attentive. The design touches of the interior really don't go unnoticed, and the music was well chosen. Only minor critique is that the pizza while very good could be taken to another level with a little more flavor. I was surprised to read some of the more negative reviews, it tells me they must have to work on their consistency. Our experience was great!
We visited as a group of friends. Would like to particularly praise our waitress Emma, who we actually met as we were going up in the lift. She accommodated us at our table quickly, and looked after us very well all evening. Emma is a great asset! 5⭐️’s Our food was lovely, ambience great. We will definitely return.
My absolute favourite pizza place in Belfast! I've been twice and absolutely loved the pizzas I chose each time. The dough is delicious!! And the toppings and choices are really good. Their desserts are really good too. Absolutely recommend and will def go back! Nice service too! Thanks.
Our experience at Tetto deserves more than 5 stars. We had such a wonderful and warm welcome. The atmosphere is so relaxing with wonderful colours overall. Our waitress Chloe F was such a gem. I had the angioletti cider as per her recommendation and just whao, lets just say I have a new favourite. We had the Nduja and chorizo pizza, so delicious, base thin and crunchy. For dessert again as per recommendation we had the tiramisu, another whao. Overall we really had a memorable time at Tetto. We highly recommend and will definitely be back when visiting Belfast again.
Absolutely lovely food. I was able to get a photo of my delicious starter 😄 definitely will be back 😃
Really stunning place, both the inside and the terrace which has a great view. The female waitress (who said she was new) was so kind, friendly and funny and she made us feel very comfortable and welcome. (We stayed only for some tea and coffee but the food did look great too)
Had a lovely time in Tetto tonight, our servers Emma and Gary were delightful and very hospitable. The atmosphere was very relaxing and there was nice music that was not too intrusive. Drinks were of top quality and the view from the terrace is amazing. Worth every Penny. Thanks so much we will definitely be back!
Lovely rooftop bar.🥰🍹 I have been twice now & staff have been very friendly & helpful both times. Pizza was great on both occasions also!😍🍕 Had a slice in their rooftop beer garden & also a pizza in their main restaurant. Both lovely locations & lovely food.😃🍴
Visited the rooftop bar during a visit to Belfast. We went during a week day in the sun so it was not very busy. Really lovely drinks (worth paying that bit extra) and atmosphere. Service was friendly. I would recommend for anyone looking for a place for evening pre/post dinner drinks during the week! It is a little busy during the weekends, as we popped up on a Saturday but didn't stay as it was a bit crowded.
I have been wanting to go here since before covid and have never had the chance until now! Boy did it live up to every expectation I had! The food was amazing, the drinks were superb and the atmosphere fabulous! They had a DJ playing through dinner which just made the vibe perfect! I cannot wait to come back.
We just stumbled across this place last Saturday, pubs full due to rugby. Really nice, comfortable restaurant. Service was super and we really enjoyed our meal. Thanks guys.
Tetto was the one place I had on my must-do for food list on our trip to Belfast and wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is beautiful, and the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a very nice spot for a romantic date or nice dinner with an accommodating menu for vegetarians and vegans. My partner and I got the burrata with focaccia to start, stracciatella and seafood linguine for the mains, and finished with an espresso martini and Tetto coffee. Everything we had was amazing, and the staff was super nice and gave us some recommendations for where to go and where to avoid afterwards (it was Halloween evening).
My girlfriend and I came here after I had just proposed, the restaurant and their staff couldn’t do enough for us, we got some free glasses of Prosecco and a brownie at the end. The food we ordered was really delicious and the whole atmosphere was really good. We came back for cocktails the next day, we would definitely recommend. Particular shout out to the two lads who served us, super fun and friendly.
Only went onto the rooftop terrace where the sun was shining (always a boon), I suspect it would not be as good in torrential rain. Service was quick & and friendly. we got a decent seat, and the place was buzzing for a Saturday afternoon. We returned several days later and was very quiet but a great place for a drink so I would highly recommend it. Also there were great views of the city and surrounding areas.
This is our 3rd visit and not our last. The food is always delicious and we have never been disappointed. The service is exceptional and always consistent. The team are amazing always going the extra mile. I really want to give a big shout out to Nicole & Callum who have been truly outstanding from our first visit, delivering excellent service, by making us so welcome, they are friendly and professional. These two make us keep returning as we love making our dining experience special these guys are the pro's at making this happen.
Popped in for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Service is attentive and the staff listened to our requests. Food itself was very nice, good flavours and enough to be filling without being uncomfortably stuffed. Overall good value for Belfast.
Lovely experience here, out second time to visit. Warm intimate atmosphere and perfect for a date. There was a large birthday party on the night but it didn't disturb us the restaurant is spacious. Good service, incorrect side went in on the order but the rectified immediately. Drinks were good. Would like a more expensive cocktail menu but I know they'll make anything requested if possible. Pizza was good, a little wet but delicious. Burrata starter was excellent and I appreciate the option to get 500ml of wine.
Great food especially the pizza Lovely service
A nice place in the centre of Belfast. A good range of Italian food. We were especially impressed when the server noticed an allergy on our booking and made a suggestion to swap an ingredient. Taking a star off because they use a default 10% service charge, despite the prices already being high. This is a shady practice that I only noticed after leaving.
Very pleased with the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant. Staff are lovely.I'd say the food was good cafe food rather that good restaurant food. We had 2 starters and 2 main dishes plus 2 drinks each. Costing £71. I doubt we will be back as we'd expected better food for this price range.
Mixed experience. The staff were lovely, but the food was disappointing. I was first told I could have sauce on the side, but the chef refused, forcing me to pick a more expensive dish. The seafood pasta was tasty but unexpectedly spicy and the portion was too small. Also, bread is an extra charge without warning. Great service, but poor flexibility and value.
Hi, Food was lovely I'm only giving 3 stars 🌟 bcoz the pizza 🍕 was pretty flat hardly any cheese on it basically just crust when you bit into it I've tasted nicer in spar honestly . . The place was empty no atmosphere what so ever pretty boring to be fair and the drinks were over priced I feel . . Their was one beer on draft Estrella I had 3 pints didn't realise was £6.30 each lol I mean it's £5.50 in some of the more expensive bars in town only a better beer like peroni & others . . My girl had 2 vodkas & 2 pure oranges £7.50 each . . . On the up side the staff we're lovely very nice friendly helpful & The decor was realy nice 🙂
Excellent service also very nice environment, but the pizza was not the real Italian one I did not hear the mozzarella in the Margherita but another cheese, in fact after having already finished eating I still felt something in my mouth that bored me. The prices are too high an Italian pizza doesn't cost that much. But other dishes were quite good
Honestly, the Pizza was very mediocre with tomato sauce that tasted like the kind of sauce you'd get with speghetti hoops out of a tin, and was somehow both raw on top and charred on bottom, and chewy as leather at a premium price. I wouldn't go back.
I don't know if the kitchen had an off night, but the food was very disappointing. The prawn bruschetta came with one piece of bread which was doused in oil, so no crispiness whatsoever. Literally just an oil-soaked piece of bread covered in prawns without any bite to them. A mushy affair. The beef cheek cannelloni looked more like a weird lasagne and seemed to be about 50% melted cheese. The bits of pasta you could find were overcooked. The food was also underseasoned throughout. None of it was bad, just bland. I guess I had higher expectations based on the reviews. Service and drinks were good though and the view from their terrace is lovely. Update: Changed the food score to a 1 as a few of us became sick within a couple of days of our visit. Avoid the oysters.
The food was okay but I couldn't believe I was paying £12 for a cocktail that filled about half of my glass with the rest being ice. I've just moved from London and I can find cheaper cocktails there. The food was delicious but again London prices. I also think there might have been an issue with the bathrooms because we could smell them in the eating area which was a bit off putting - hopefully that's been resolved.
food was bad, after letting them know they offered to replace it and took our current meal. Then returned saying we can only offer magerita pizza without having the option of keeping our previous food. even the margarita was so bad don’t go here to eat but the atmosphere is nice
Went to "the garden" area - Great views, terrible cocktails... Bar staff did not know how to make an old fashioned (had the old fashioned returned twice before getting a beer instead), and other cocktails had way more sugar syrup than necessary. Dive bar drinks at upscale prices. 👌
Second time dining here. We booked a reservation days before and were denied a table near the window. What’s the point of going to a rooftop restaurant if you’re going to be seated near the bathrooms? Hostess was not accommodating at all, extremely dry from the get-go. Unless you’re getting a pizza here, don’t even bother. The menu is a mess, drinks were sloppily crafted and just terrible. Not to mention that it’s expensive for tasteless food. We’ve given this place a chance to redeem itself and we left even more disappointed than the first time.
One of the worst meals I have ever had!! Seafood roll; a hotdog bun with prawns and seafood sauce and some rocket on the side. Overpriced, disappointing and not the birthday treat I was hoping for. For a starter I had foccacia; bland, tasteless and poorly presented. Service was OK. Will never be here again. With so many good restaurants in Belfast I'm shocked this place can stay open. £71 for a dreadful meal.
