Cha Thai Tea Berkeley Reviews
i’ve come here a few times already and the drink quality is excellent: flavorful and not overly sweet. i’m very picky about the texture and chew of the boba and cha thai tea def gets it right. had their mango sticky rice too, v good as well. cant wait to try their vanilla ube toast and other beverages. highly recommend!
First time here. Menu doesn’t have much options (seems more for college students) but me & my daughter still tried it. The avacado smash & strawberry cloud & it was sooo good. The boba is perfection! Keep up the good work 👍
Came here for the first time today, had a nice time! I ordered the iced black sesame Thai milk tea and it tasted very good. The interior is very clean and pretty. Even though it’s small, it’s a nice place to sit for a little bit or do work. The man behind the counter was really nice and welcoming!
I paid a visit with some good friends of mine, & it was delicious! I got the Thai tea frappe & smoked salmon toast, I’m a big fan of both now. My friends got the ham & cheese toast, the mango berry toast with hazelnut spread, & classic Thai tea’s with boba. They said everything they got was really good as well! Highly highly recommend stopping by to try them out, I’ve been telling everyone I know it’s my new go to spot when in Berkeley :)
"Thai Milk Tea with Boba": The best Thai milk tea in Berkeley uses quality tea. It's very authentic and the best tea I have ever had. It reminds me of my visit to Thailand. "Pang Cha": So good! I like the bread topping on top; it's perfect with Thai tea blend. "Mango sticky rice" with fresh mango and homemade coconut sauce sounds absolutely delicious! The combination of sweet mango, sticky rice, and creamy coconut sauce. "Pandan Custard Toast": Not too sweet; their pandan is so fresh and goes very well with bread toast.
I drove from Sacramento to get real taste of thai tea and it’s worth it! today I ordered Pang Cha, Mango coco, Lime black tea and pandan toast every thing is so good I really enjoyed it and want to try other item in the menu also the vibe of cafe is so nice and service is great too friendly staff !
Lots of Thai tea options and I like the pandan custard & coconut ice cream toast!
Ordered takeout and everything was great! The Thai tea was creamy, just sweet enough and so refreshing. The mango sticky rice was delicious - supper fresh mango, soft sticky rice, and perfect coconut sauce. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed visiting Cha Thai tea! The employees are always very welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. I really enjoyed this drink (I think it was a coconut avocado special? I forgot to look at the exact name of the drink) and pandan custard toast. I also enjoyed the mango coco the previous time I came here. They have a smaller, simpler menu that's not too overwhelming but the ingredients seem very fresh and tasty! I'll definitely be back!
The most delicious drinks. I ordered a black sesame latte with boba. You can really taste the black sesame. Delicious. and the staff was super sweet!
I got the Thai tea with sesame and boba and it was so good!!! Love it so much it taste like icecream dream. The only thing I don’t recommend is the straws they broke for both me and my mom’s street.
Most delicious tea drink I’ve had, seriously. I got the Black Tea Lychee drink with Thai syrup and never even thought how yum that could taste. I’d recommend less sweet if you’re not that much of a sweet tooth, but like sweet. The flavors are so well balanced, strong black tea taste and subtle lychee with a good Thai syrup after taste. So good! It is pretty expensive so more of a treat. $9.50 for one drink. Very limited seating too!
One of my favorite boba places in Berkeley! All their drinks are so creative and yummy. I highly recommend trying the black sesame and strawberry cloud drink!
Had the CocoMango. Amaaaaazing. Super fresh mango and all around great ingredients. Pandan custard toast was awesome as well Will be back soon.
These are the best tea spot I've ever had. This store sells so many different types of Tea, Fresh Fruit Slushy and Toasties. My absolute favorite being the Thai tea slushies, perfectly paired with toasted bread inspired by the Thai dessert called Pung Yen. Definitely worth checking it out!
First time trying a new Thai tea cafe in Berkeley Love the vibe and interior also their drink is very good and high quality recommend for everyone to try it !
This is my favorite tea shop. The location is close to my office. The atmosphere in the shop is very friendly. There are many menus to choose from. As for the menu, I like it. It's a healthy menu. Avocado Smoothie The other menu items I will gradually try in the future.

Coconut water with whipped thai tea? I AM ALL IN. this is the "Coco Cha Cha" on the menu. I really enjoyed this drink as a refreshing alternative to your typical creamy thai tea. They also have a variety of other styles of thai tea here! Thai tea with lime, lychee thai tea, and more! There's also many fresh fruit drinks, like strawberry lemonade, avocado slushy, and more. The inside of this cafe is quite minimalistic and a chill place to do work. Small place, but there's also lots of snacks and good vibes.

A cute little cafe that specializes in Thai drinks and desserts. The range of drinks that they have is pretty impressive, and none of them have ever tasted bad. It's one of the few places that I think serve super authentic Thai drinks. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. Not too many seating, probably around 2 to 4 tables, but definitely a great place to swing by if you're looking for a sweet drink.

We came for desserts and my favorite was the Coco Panda Toast. It was tasty and had great texture with the toasted bread. The coconut ice cream was good. The Mango & Sticky Rice was just okay for me. The sticky rice was not as flavorful, but felt mushy. The mango was not too sweet, but also a bit mushy.

The oat milk Thai tea is very unique in a good way, esp if you’re in the mood for something not super sweet as the traditional Thai tea. The pandan toast is a little disappointing tbh. I think it’s mainly because 1. The toast is not crispy and hot as it should be 2. The pandan sauce is too dense and doesn’t taste super SEA:( feels like too much gelatin in it…
