Bring back 10 bottles for a free drink is a genius move. Good quality, nice staff. Convenient location, right by UCB. 100% will be a regular here

One of my favorite boba tea near the southgate of uc berkeley. I love they have the cheese variants in their menu, something you hardly find. The price is also cheaper if you compare with TP tea or other boba places. I love that they have this glass bottle, so you can just bring that bottle when you repurchase the boba, no need to waste another plastic cup.

Great Ice Tea with Boba. Very friendly staff that are trying hard to serve you. You can get your tea in a plastic cup or a glass bottle. The glass bottle is great for home use. There is parking in the garage above (free 1 hr.) Pleantea accepts credit cards and CASH! Please give them a little break on service as this is a small business in a restart mode.

Great service, the employee I met was super chill and the matcha latte I had was pretty good. The glass bottles make an amazing presentation and have the reusable quality to them. Pretty well priced as well.

Such a fun an unique boba spot! Their drinks are fantastic and the food is very well prepared. Bonus Tip: Mix the Sriracha and Mayo together for a delicious tempura dip with a kick!

The tea here was super good! We also love the glass bottles and use them at home! The staff were really nice and quick. The space for customer to wait and order seems a little crowded but that’s totally fine with the quick service. :)

I love this place! Great tea, sustainable (if you get the glass bottle that you can RETURN for a discounted drink) and. Nice staff. You order from a computer screen, some people don’t like that but I don’t mind one bit! Makes customizing the drink very easy! It has pictures and everything. I would go every day if I could. But alas, I cannot.

My drink came in a cute glass bottle. The staff was nice and welcoming! And the drink is super fresh (honey lime green tea)

Choose between a milk bottle-shaped glass or a bigger plastic boba cup for the same price! I think you can also bring back the glass bottle for a discount too. Very resourceful. I got the Oolong Tea with Sea Salt Cheese Creama, which was delicious! 50% sweet was perfect for me. A fragrant oolong flavor complimented by the rich cheese creama... SO GOOD! I would order this again. I will say, they do put A LOT of cheese creame though. Very creamy. I also tried some of my friend's Honey Citrus Tea and it tasted just like Korean Yujacha! So nostalgic and has a crisp sweetness to it. Very refreshing!

Arguably the best boba milk tea I’ve ever had. You get to keep the glass, the quantity is significant, and the taste is REFRESHING. Highly recommend if you’re a boba tea fan.

Really love the taro bubble tea here. The tapioca balls are also extremely fresh. It’s a great spot. I come here whenever I’m in Berkeley.

Wow…the minute I walked in here, the atmosphere of love and joy filled my lungs and the scent of masterfully-crafted boba enveloped my nostrils like a warm embrace. This was the homecoming of light, jubilation, and genuine pure ooey gooey boba goodness. And what better to attribute it all to…but famous boba barista Irene…she fills this scared space with an aura of reverence and command in her element, making multiple drinks at once. Even though every day is her birthday and we tirelessly sing her praises every evening to make up for her toils, Irene remains steadfast in her boba duties. I cannot fathom a world that didn’t have Irene. The stalwart defender of flavor and quality: Irene.

Plentea has become my default boba place. I really like their pearls and they're the only place that I've seen have caffeine free milk tea that actually tastes really good on top of that.

Delicious drinks! The reusable glasses were really nice. I got the straw and then the straw bag for free! I really suggest to go there!

One of my four favorite East Bay boba spots (and I'm picky about boba) for a few reasons. The ingredients, fruits and teas seem pretty fresh. The passion fruit and the Hong Kong coffee tea are my two favorites. I wasn't crazy about the pineapple tea. They have caffeine free options for my kids. You can opt into having your boba in a bottle, which gives you a trash-free option and a very cute bottle to use at home. (I've collected my bottles and used them for my loose leaf teas.) Their customer service is great. If you order something that they think doesn't work that well, they will let you know and give you a chance to change it. They have also been pretty generous when orders got mixed up and gave me the benefit of the doubt. Finally, this is one of the only good boba places with relatively easy parking.

I loved this shop ~ tea is great, aesthetic is cute, sustainability push is admirable. I left 4 stars because I was SO excited for a decaf option, but I’m not sure if they got the order wrong or I’m just super super sensitive but I was awake until 3am after drinking it. Go! Just be careful if you’re very caffeine sensitive.

I don't really like boba, or milk tea.... but this was good enough to win me over. Really cute spot, and their matcha slushie was awesome on a hot summer day!

They’ve recently changed their hours but unfortunately haven’t updated their info on Google Maps. So if you plan on getting there right at the original 11am opening time on Friday or Saturday, you’ll be stuck waiting around.

My friend and I have purchased 4 teas collectively, and we were disappointed with each one aside from the taro tea. We got a pineapple smoothie, matcha tea, red dragonfruit tea. The ice of the size used in the glass bottle doesn’t suit the shape well and makes it really hard to drink, though giving an extra star for the free bottle. I’d advise getting a straw. We got our drinks less sweet, and they all tasted super watered down and could not isolate the favor well. The pineapple smoothie was very watery and flavorless as well as the red dragonfruit tea if less sweet.

Sharp, broken glass chip in boba cut my mouth and now I am bleeding. I don't know how this even happens - I should really not be having to even think about glass chips in my drink. I used the plastic straw they have in store, and this chip seems to be from *within* the bottle. The servers are super nice, and I love this place, but this kind of scarred me.

Love the tea but the staff is just rude. You walk in they just look at you like deer in Headlights no words just nothing. They look at you when your drink is ready and walk away. Not a word.
