Taiwan Professional Tea Berkeley Reviews
The best taro milk tea I've ever had! I did 0 sugar and it was so plenty sweet from the taro, and I added pudding. So glad to have a delicious caffeine free option. The taro paste is so good!!
All of the drinks we got were delicious! The fries were good too! The boba texture was perfect. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. Some people with us had questions about ingredients due to allergies, and the staff made some good suggestions on what they might like.
I had a great experience thanks to Cicilia! She was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when it came to choosing the perfect drink. She listened to what I liked, made thoughtful suggestions, and guided me to a choice that was exactly what I was looking for. Her friendly attitude and great taste really made the experience enjoyable. Highly recommend her if you want expert help and a warm, welcoming vibe!
This is one of the best boba place in Berkeley, it’s very close to the Southgate/sather gate of UC Berkeley. This place offer great variety of boba, some of them are nice, but some of them have weird taste lol. Whenever I visit this place, I always try the new variant, that’s why I ended up with the weird taste ones 😅 but yeah overall I like the boba, if you want a safe choice, just pick the original one. The price is a bit higher than other boba places. And yeah, They have 3-4 tables for seating area.
The boba quality is great, tastes real with plenty of boba pearls. The price is on the expensive side but the quality is worth it; the tea tastes authentic; and the cup size is pretty big as well!
One of my favorites places to get boba in Berkeley. They have another location in Cupertino but this one is less crowded. Service is a bit slow but not terrible. Love their tie guan tea with cheese foam as well as their tie guan latte. They use real milk so for those of you who are lactose intolerant be prepared!
I used to come here a lot. A few drinks i really like.
This place is really good. I was a great fan of their service and options. Even when they had a lot of people, they managed it very well. They have self service ipads for ordering which moves things super fast. The service is quick. The tea was good and they had great flavors.
First shop in Berkeley Boba very fresh & the tea reminds me of Boba tea in Taiwan. I’m here regular every or 3-4 days. Can order at the shop Or you don’t want to wait can order Snackpass to save time.

The tea just tasted very authentic comparing the one I had in Taiwan. For a bubble tea fan, Berkeley is the best place to find a variety of bubble tea shops. If you never tried bubble tea yet, highly recommend you just come here and grab one.
This is my fav place for many years. I only get TGY milk tea 15% sugar w/boba. Their bobas are soft, fresh, & chewy most of the time. I started loving their 3Q TP milk tea w/ 0% sugar since it saves me extra $ for adding additional toppings. Sometimes I order strawberry milk tea with less sugar & lychee jelly as well. These are my 3 consistent drinks here. Some other drinks are too strong for me. Love coming here for good drinks, & the prices are affordable compared to others, but it’s hard to park around here.
Haven’t been to this TP Tea location in years! Used to come here weekly while I was in school. I’m glad to see that they are still doing well and in the same spot. When you enter, there are 3-4 different self order stations which is great because there was no wait/line! If you prefer ordering from a real person, it’s a bit hard to get their attention but if you’re lucky and can waive someone over they’re happy to help. I ordered the Boba Fresh Milk Tornado with 50% sweetness for $6.25. I was really craving a matcha tornado but they only had the fresh milk and Thai tea tornados. Considering that it was only boba pearls, tornado (custard/cream), milk, and ice it was actually very good. Super refreshing, the custard went very well with the milk and perfectly cooked boba pearls. The pearls were bouncy and didn’t stick to your teeth, they were also not over saturated in sugar either. I do have to say that the store itself was uncomfortably hot and humid. I’m not sure what was going on with the ventilation. They even had one of the front doors propped open and it felt like a completely different climate inside the store. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.
Not my favorite boba spot, but you really can’t go wrong here. I wouldn’t recommend the pure tea, as it’s brewed a bit too strong for my taste. That said, it works very well with milk and is quite enjoyable.
Ordered two boba milk teas from TPT and they were both great. The tea had strong flavor, not overly sweet (0% and 30% sweet) and the boba was fresh with the right chew. Drinks were made quickly and the staff was friendly. Clean shop with a simple vibe—no frills, just solid milk tea. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving boba. No rest room here so that needs to change soon. Don’t Worry about parking near the store as it’s impossible to find parking. You are better off parking at the nearby parking garage.
Small shop located in Berkeley. Parking is little difficult and may have to park two blocks away. The store is clean and the drink quality is good. Got my favor, four season osmanthus ice tea.
This is a pretty busy spot, so a wait is expected. I had a bite of the seasoned fries and they were great, yummy snack. The boba was nice and squishy and my drink was tasty, and not too sweet.
The “Tie Guan Yin Tea Latte” with boba is a great choice. By the way, you can use snackpass app to online order drink then go to pick up.

The drinks were delicious! Boba was chewy but I wasn’t a fan of how small they were compared to other places.
Came by back in Nov'24. Comparing to the South Bay TP Teas, this location is a bit inefficient based on location and ordering. Lines via kiosk make it very cluttered and difficult to see when you order is called. I got my usual passion fruit green tea. Friend ordered a pineapple ice tea. Still a decent spot drink wise, but just super chaotic in the area. Street parking only. The other TP Teas in the south bay use Snackpass, if that is an option, probably order through the app to save some time.

If you show up and order at exactly 11:30am, you wont get your drink until NOON. Yes that’s right. A whole 30mins later. The employees literally do prep work when the store opens and then delay making the orders until 15mins after opening. So everyone’s in there, standing around wondering when their order will be ready, meanwhile the employees haven’t even began making A GOD DAMN THING 🙄.

I have been going to the store for 2 years, but today was an extremely disappointing experience. I specifically ordered a less ice item, yet the staff handed me a bottle full of ice. When I asked her to remove some ice and fill it properly with the drink, she told me she “can’t do that” and that there was “no way” to take out ice and pour milk into my order. This response was completely unacceptable. I am super disappointed—this was an extremely bad experience, and it shows a lack of basic customer service and respect for a paying customer.
I tried their most popular order; it lack flavor or texture. The service girl in her teens didn’t know what she was doing. The interface for ordering was confusing and with few photos for what the food looked like it was impossible to know what you were ordering.
