Always great food. We first found El Pollo Loco in Las Vegas and ate there quite regularly. So when we were looking for something to eat here we were pleasantly surprised to find they were here. Great chicken and we love the mashed potatoes and gravy.

We dine here pretty often. I typically get the salads. They are always good. My girls opt for quesadillas and Mac and cheese and my husband, usually an overstuffed quesadilla. We usually dine in. We enjoy our meal. It's clean, the staff is friendly. As long as they keep up their good work, we'll continue to eat here.

Used to not be so keen on El Pollo Loco, but lately I find I really like the Chicken Avocado Burrito. Also they have Horchata, even if it is syrup and water! I really like the green and red sauces too.

Initially visited taco bell across the street and was appalled by the lack of service. Ended up leaving and visited el pollo loco and was AMAZED at the difference in, not only service but the perfectly prepared and delicious meal. See Maria if she's on shift. She's an asset to the chain!

The chicken tortilla soup and quesadillas are delicious! Appreciate the cashier Lila who genially asked about my concerns about hot chilly peppers and made sure the order doesn't have chilies. Thank you!

We had a lunch catered for 25 people, and the quality of the food, timeliness of the order, and professionalism of the staff were fantastic. I picked up the order, but everything was so simple that next time we'll probably opt for delivery. We also made some 'special order' notations online, and those were executed perfectly.

Great place! They have decent deals, and great food! The other day we ordered a family platter. Very large amount of food for four hungry men, and for only 20 bucks! The staff are friendly and they give ya a treat at the end of your meal. Would defenitely suggest this place to friends and family, well be back!

Never had a bad meal here. Always super delicious. That being said, I have only had their burritos and I had friend tell me their chicken is a little dry. You will have to find that out for yourself though. Update: Still as good as before! Love the burritos and bowls. I will say that their sauces and salsas are too spicy? Even when I ask for a salsa that is zero spice I get a pico that is WAY too hot, and I don't mind a little heat. I haven't been to another el pollo so I don't know if this is a common thing or not.

After being in Mammoth it was time for some Staple food, Nothing like some grilled Chicken that’s always a go to. Same flavor and taste as well all locations which made for a great choice. Great meal with fresh Salsa.... Thank You. Great service

Delicious and friendly towards families with small children. We have been to Bishop for the second time and will come back to El Pollo Loco the next time we are there. The chicken was extremely delicious and flavorful. Keep on the great work!

I make a habit of reviewing a fast food chain just once, the first time I try it. So this happens to be the one! I was very hesitant to try this chain, as I don't usually crave grilled chicken... But let me tell you I was blown AWAY by how delicious the chicken was. It is super fresh, grilled right in sight. It was tender and very flavorful. The sides are all pretty standard. I'd say the whole chicken is the winner for sure.

I visited on November 7th around 1:30ish. Every employee showed a vibrant personality, took special time to understand the order and engaged professionally. I ordered the pollo chicken bowl with chickless meat, kids drumstick, pollo bowl no chicken and sub 🥑 and sub pinto beans for black beans. Presentation is good, food is meh. We stopped in @bishopca for some BBQ but it was closed. Only on Tues. Could sure smell the que. So we ended up here and it was very good food very clean

Pretty darn good for a drive through restaurant. I'm always pleasantly surprised when I come here. The burritos and bowls are great. The guacamole has flavor.. And I love the hot salsa and the avocado salsa. The horchata is a nice break from soda 👍👍 Only complaint is the tacos al carbon have so much potential but they're a little soggy..

The service was good but the chicken was dry in my tostada, the only thing that had flavor was the salsa. I'd never had El Pollo Loco because the town I live in doesn't have it, the closest is 2 hours away so I was excited to try it, it was a let down.

Mid-way between Reno and Los Angeles, along the 395 highway, lies the town of Bishop, CA. Fortunately for cost-conscious travelers who want a satisfying meal at a reasonable price, there is El Pollo Loco. With their famous flame-grilled chicken and a large variety of delicious recipes and salsas, you can't go wrong whatever you choose.

Use to love this franchise when I lived in California. Haven't had EPL in years, so when in CA was excited to try it again. Wish they still had the old menu, the Chipotle Burrito 🌯 was just way too spicy 😕 but looked like the ingredients were good and fresh.

The service is always fast and friendly, and the food is accurate. However, lately they have watered down the creamy avocado cilantro sauce a noticeable amount, while still charging extra for it. If it was only a little bit, it would be fine, but the sauce is incredibly thin and barely has any flavor. Unfortunately, this does affect the rest of the food, as it's rather plain without the sauce.

Good food - tasted fresh. Service was decent, though cashier did not execute good customer service when taking our order or when they missed an item on our tray. Atmosphere normal for El Pollo, no substantial complaints. Love the bakery next door too!

Their grilled chicken is always the best. Just simply get the chicken rather than combo which includes 2 sides + tortilla/chips. Enjoyed a chicken feast with the salad. Price was great with this amount of food.

Good service, food meets brand standard but the store (and tables) were dirty. The drink bar was dirty with the tea being empty.

In general, it seems El Pollo Loco buys the thinner, less meaty chickens. I had half a chicken meal. The meat that was on it was sparse and dry (more bone than meat). Paid $11 for the meal, which came with two sides and a biscuit. If you're in an emergency for chicken, I guess you can get a taste here. Also the guy that took my order was distracted and kept looking around. He made me repeat what I wanted twice.

Over cooked and dry chicken, very small sides, surprisingly high prices. This location is very spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly.

Food was good but the service is lacking. Sat for 10 minutes in an empty restaurant waiting for our food. Asked about it and everyone was standing around doing nothing, and they just forgot to make our order.

We asked for two of the 5$ pollo bowls and automatically got a bowl combo for 7,19$ with chips and drinks. Again asking if this was the 5$ bowl she reassured us it was. Assuming the chips were included, I said I didn’t want any drinks. She charged it anyway and pushed the cup into our hands after we had already paid. Very weird to get things you didn’t ask for. The food was very good but leaves a foul taste taste after the cashier purposely(?) modified our order to be more expensive.

Food was good, but the cashier yesterday was rude and unknowlegeable. I was trying to order a burittos only and she keep telling me that burritos comes with meals only so I have to pointed out to her the burrito only options. Also I literally ask for an "extra fork for my salad" and she gave me a spoon. Bathroom is gender neutral.

I think as far as fast food goes, El Pollo Loco is usually the best because their ingredients are fresh. Unfortunately this branch has never failed to mess up an order, forgetting items or not removing things that were requested due to the fact that we’re allergic. Online, extra guac with a taco is $1.19. If you actually order it with the taco, the person will change up to $5 for a teaspoon of gauc which makes no sense. They’ll say the prices have gone up, but that isn’t true. I don’t know if people are trying to pocket extra cash or something but it’s a little concerning when you think how many people probably pay 3-4 extra dollars per order because the staff if lying. It seems a little sketchy for a place that in the past hasn’t been bad.

So I really enjoy EL pollo loco I was excited that they where finally putting something here that I would eat! But now I came in and the assistant manager was a jackass and sat next to me in the dinning room blasting a video on his phone then I had bone fragment in my food bad move but I guess that’s what I get for eating fast food

This place was dirty with trash overflowing. Mentioned to manager on way out, he was enjoying a web break, and he wanted to tell me what a tough day he was having. The kitchen staff was very friendly.

My 3 piece leg and thigh was good. Tried to get my wife just two chicken breasts. She only eats white meat chicken. They were out! A chicken place that ran out of chicken breasts! So I had to go elsewhere to get her some food. Not a good experience.

So I ordered a bean and chicken burrito from this place and tell me how they can get this order Wrong???? I got a burrito with only beans! Ugh... Fast food in Bishop are not very savvy 😕! Jack in the box the same food is either cold or Wrong!

The chicken can be cooked better. Seems like the process was a bit rushed. One restroom was converted into employee restroom and the other restroom serves as a unisex restroom. Can be locked from the inside. This has caused longer waiting lines to wash hands. Not the most efficient or smartest decision considering the amount of clients dining in during lunch. Also, someone took all hand towels away leaving one with the option of touching the door handle- and not everyone washes their hands. A solution would be making the door open outwards. This establishment is a great example of things not done properly.

Omg, worst experience we have ever had . They made us wait for 30 minutes in the drive through, not only could they not get our order correct they kept charging us the wrong price over and over. I am so sorry they we ever pulled into this drive thru!

I usually go into the restaurant but yesterday I went in the drive thro. When I got home, I was tired and didn't pay attention to my chicken. This morning, I looked at it more closely and noticed it was green. I had wondered why I had been having stomach problems all night.

Been to a lot of other Polo Locos. This one, something wrong. Had dinner here. Woke up the next morning loosing it all. Wait staff at the hotel I was staying told me they do not cook the chicken thourghly. I think she was right. There were a team of us eating there. One other person experienced the same thing eating the same menu selection.

Placed order at drive thru, order taker didn't sound confident so I asked the young man giving me my order what I was getting. He handed me the receipt and read my order. It was correct. When I got home the order wasn't even close. Went back and while there was a sufficient crew it took several people and quite some time to correct the situation.

I use to manage this restaurant. I ordered through the drive through last week and I was appalled at the service. I saw a worker pulling raw chicken out of the trash. Who knows where he brought it. My chicken was raw… end of story. Sad to see this place go to complete ****

Drive thru attendant had no clue what drive thru means, the manager had to do all the work. Get the food and do the register. I was 3rd in line, 20 minutes, and 7 cars deep behind me. No napkins, silverware, etc. But I still enjoy their family meals.

I wouldn't know if the food is good. After ordering I waited 15 minutes for a 4 piece meal. At the 15 minute mark I asked for a refund and walked away hungry. This place needs to get their customer service in order.

Normally El Pollo Loco's are great. This one has a dirty guy washing himself in the bathroom. They got our order wrong, then didn't quite believe my husband and tried to charge more $.....and my daughter found an eyelash stuck to her beans...in a Pollo bowl.

I do not enjoy eating rubbery chicken skin and fat. They grill, chop, and serve all that together with the lean meat. Gross! A white meat option is not available here either. Its all nasty cheap dark meat, skin and fat all served up on your plate.

One of the ladys were very rude when my wife found ants 🐜 in her soda as she walked out to the car she went back in and the lady said yeah oh well it happens all the time what do you want me to do about it. well, if it happens all the time, why aren't they cleaning their stuff

Paula is the most unprofessional young lady I have ever met. Every time I go in there she acts like customers coming in is an inconvenience to her even tho it’s her job??? She is a bratty teenagers and needs to learn how to properly work in customer service! She always has the rudest smirk on her face. Food was ok, we ordered a burrito no tomato and no salsa, they put both things in it 😒🙄 I just didn't like the fact that both man n women can be in the same restroom and there's no privacy. Another lady and myself walked in and a man was walking out and a boy too .... weirdest experience I've ever had in a public restroom bc the doors of the bathrooms have slits and are not fully covered ...😑😑😑
