Soleluna Bra Reviews
Cutest little coffee shop in DC. Coffee was perfectly flavored and smooth. Our croissant was crispy and chewy on the inside, best I've had in a long time ❤️highly recommend!!
Great local spot with wonderful staff. Love the coffee and pastries! Everything is really fresh and they use quality ingredients. Highly recommend!
It’s a very small shop, so not a lot of seating and a pretty long line to order, but went exceptionally fast. The coffee was very good, but the croissant was probably one of the best I’ve ever had.
I came across this little coffee shop while walking downtown and decided to give it a try. The place has a cozy vibe, with plenty of seating and soft music playing in the background. I ordered a latte and a blueberry muffin, and both were pretty good—nothing fancy, but fresh and satisfying. The barista was friendly, though a bit rushed since it was busy. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a coffee and maybe get some work done on your laptop. I’ll probably come back next time I’m in the area.
This place is OG and Mexican run. I like it because they actually bake everything in house and the croissant is not stuck in my teeth. I encourage anyone in Adams Morgan to stop here. It's at the top of the hill on 18th street.
Picked up an assortment of pastries for a staff meeting and wow, they were delicious! We tried the cheese pastry, guava croissant, pain au chocolat, pistachio croissant, cinnamon pecan roll and the Kouign Amann. They were a huge hit! It is always a joy to walk down the street to Soleluna for a midday pick-me-up! The service is always top notch. Thank you!
What a gem! Super affordable, incredible pastry selection, & maybe the best latte I've ever had 🥰 Bonus is they don't charge for alt milk options. I got an iced latte w almond milk & a mango danish. The staff were friendly & kept the line moving quickly. As others have said, only a few tables inside & out, but I was looking for something to go anyway, so this was perfect. Will definitely be back!
Incredible little café with an outstanding pastry selection and some of the best coffee available in DC! This hole-in-the-wall spot is located in the heart of Adams Morgan, where space is limited but the vibrancy and vibes are not. Soleluna adds to the cool, artsy energy of the neighborhood with their warm, friendly staff, unique assortment of pastries, and awesome Ecuadorian coffee. The coffee has genuinely never missed; I love the beans themselves, so I normally opt for an americano or a latte, but they also have a ton of homemade syrups that are just absolutely incredible. Whether you're a bitter or a sweet coffee drinker, Soleluna has you covered! They also have a fun selection of pastries, including fruity, tropical options like their guava or passionfruit croissant, or their mango danish. If something savory is a bit more your speed, they also have a classic ham and cheese croissant, everything bagel danish, and outstanding leek quiche. I usually go for something classic, like their standard croissant or pain au chocolat, but everything -- from the basics to the specialty -- are perfectly executed, phenomenally flaky, and 100% delicious. The shop is quite small, so, while there's a couple of small tables available outside, you're most likely going to have to take your order to go. There's barely enough space for the line to wrap around inside of the café, but I promise both the wait and the hassle of finding a new spot to enjoy your treats is completely worth it.
Soleuna in Washington, DC, is a charming coffee shop offering an array of the flakiest, highest-quality, and most delectable pastries. We got the cold latte, chocolate croissant, and pistachio croissant, and we were fortunate enough to enjoy our morning treat on their cozy, intimate patio. What a beautiful day it was! And, of course, I couldn't resist sending my husband back to get two more pistachio croissants to take back to New York. We absolutely adore this coffee shop. Despite there being a line of incredibly patient people eagerly waiting for their turn to savor the coffee and delicious treats, the experience was delightful. I love everything about this place and look forward to returning soon.
Cute little coffee shop with the flakiest chocolate croissant I’ve ever had! Got there a few minutes after opening and picked up a still warm chocolate croissant, mango danish, and spinach feta danish? or croissant ?… can’t remember… Would definitely come back to try the other pastries !
Coffee is fine, pastries are really really good. Line gets backed up on weekends but when I go early I’m always in and out quickly. Very limited seating/standing room indoors but there’s a small patio out front
I honestly can’t believe it took me this long to try Soleluna. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was incredibly warm and welcoming. It's such a cozy atmosphere and it feels bright and cheerful but has a relaxed evening ambiance. The food was the highlight and you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff made us feel like family rather than just customers. If you are looking for an authentic spot that doesn't feel like a tourist trap, this is it. Highly recommend!"
This has been bookmarked for me for a while now, and it was delicious! It’s a small space with no seating inside, but some tables outside to enjoy your pastries and coffee. At the register they have a list of their housemade syrups which include chai, salted caramel, vanilla and chocolate. I went with their iced vanilla bean latte with whole milk. I noticed a juicer on the counter behind the register and asked if they sell fresh squeezed juice which they do! I didn’t see it listed on the menu so that was a pleasant surprise. My fiancé got the orange juice which was delicious. I didn’t try their pastries, but most of them were sold out and we were there around 11am on a Sunday. My latte was delicious and their vanilla syrup was significantly better than store bought syrups I’ve tried. Overall this was a great spot for a coffee fix and I’ll be sure to try their pastries next time!
I usually enjoy this coffee shop and go here often, but my experience today was disappointing. I ordered an americano, and noticed the espresso shot was pulled in about 14 seconds, which is much too short — a proper espresso extraction should generally take around 25–30 seconds for balanced flavor. When I politely mentioned this to the barista, I was ignored. Additionally, the quality of the pastries, especially the croissants, has noticeably declined and they don’t seem fresh like they used to. I hope the management improves both the drink quality and customer service — because this used to be a great place
