First visit was WONDERFUL! Pretty place, prompt and courteous service! The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the sour cream enchiladas. Very tasty! Prices were reasonable! I will go again!

Oh Brenham. This is a delicious quick lunch. Fresh enchiladas and the flautas was bigger and delicious than most places. Loved it and their chips and green salsa so flavorfull the red one had a good kick. I like spice.

Great Tex Mex. I always enjoy the chipotle chicken breast lunch special. Fajitas for dinner are very good too. One of the better red salsas in brenham. Chips are ok. I’ve always had fast service even when they’re busy. It can get a bit loud sometimes but that’s a typical tex mex joint !

First of all I should not have to ask multiple times for my server. I even went to the bar to ask for something at one point. Second I ordered a patron margarita and I have never seen a margarita that was completely clear it was almost like one faint tequila shot. It was not awful but not good. I was happy I forced myself to drink it because it eased the pain when I got the bil and saw it was $17.50! That is Las Vegas Blvd prices. The kids meals looked good but the 3 adults all had meals with beef fajita on it and I would not recommend that. Lastly I loved both types of salsa but II would recommend them making a less spicy option considering I was the only one of our table of six they ate any.

I was in Brenham and I remembered a while ago visiting this place and I wanted to jump on and tell my last and only experience here. The waiter, Victor, I feel was his name was the worst. I think he has issues with brown people and when I say brown people, I mean brown as in the crayon box. Noone was standing in the front area so when the young lady came to the front she automatically assumed that the caucasian gentleman and his wife were there first and thanks to him, he stated that I was here first. From that point on I knew. All of a sudden all of the staff came out of hiding when a certain demographic walked in, even Victor that seemed to be sooo busy hiding. Never will I ever patronize this establishment ever again and to all my fellow brown people, find somewhere else to go or better yet, cook at home.

I just walked out. It was 2:30 p.m., definitely not busy, but no one acknowledged me. A young woman who looked like she worked there was on the phone outside. While I was waiting, the phone inside kept ringing nonstop. Instead of answering it, the server yelled out, “No one’s home,” which made me laugh at first until I realized I’d been standing there for quite a while without any help. I’m passing through Brenham on my way home and was excited to stop by. I actually worked at Mariachis about 20 years ago while I was going to Blinn back when it was located near Walmart. I was really looking forward to coming back, but the experience was disappointing from the start.

We eat here all the time have never had any issues until today. My husband and I both ordered the fajitas off of the lunch menu and water. Paying the bill it was $33.36 I think it is the owner that was running the cash register. I asked why was it so much because we had the lunch fajitas she said well the girl the waitress gave you the dinner fajitas. I said that’s not what we ordered. She said that’s what you got it you got more food. I said we eat here all the time. Why should I have to pay that when y’all gave it incorrectly and she just kept arguing I had to pay that because that’s what they gave us. She said the waitress was new that maybe she needs to explain to her I said yes that would be good. If you explain to people that she’s charging you more for lunch and giving you something you did not ask for. I paid the bill but I truly do not think we were treated fairly! And after leaving looking at my ticket, they now charge 3% to use your credit card. I was not informed of that whatsoever and I have asked the last several times are y’all charging for a credit card and the young man who was at the register those times said oh no ma’am we don’t do that so apparently that has changed as well But I did not ask About a credit charge today, I think that should be noted or informed to the customer though Again, we have always loved eating here. We could get service good food prices or fair, but I will have to decide if we will go back after this happened.

I should not have to change clothes after trying to reach into a bag and get my take-out order. I should not have to get home and then wash off the container my food came in because it looks as if it’s survived a god damn war. I rather prefer the sauce on the chips, not all over my food, but that’s what happens when you don’t close salsa containers when you hand out a to go order

Very friendly hostesses as we walked in. We were sat right away. We came during lunch and the prices were really good. I was shocked at how low for some. However I was not impressed with the salsa. The green one didn’t have enough flavor but the red was ok. We ordered queso loco and it came out cold. We sent it back and it finally came out hot. It was good. I love the chips that they serve with their queso. The tacos and fajitas were not the quality or flavor we expected. Overall it was a disappointing experience based on food quality and flavor. I do say I was also impressed by homemade taco shells. Just needed the food to be hotter in temp and more flavorful.
