Vecchio Forno Bricherasio Reviews
Their strong points are the kindness and professionalism of their staff. The fried gnocco is very good, paired with good-quality cheeses. The pizza is very good. The desserts are fabulous.
Experienced staff, excellent pizzas, and delicious food. I highly recommend it. Suitable for everyone.
Good fried fish, plentiful. Excellent craft beer. Very friendly staff. Recommend.
I felt like I was going back in time. Gianni's kindness, the carefree atmosphere, and the good food from Lilla and Concetta's kitchen. Congratulations, guys, you're making the VECCHIO FORNO great again.
NEW MANAGEMENT... Fresh, young, and dynamic atmosphere. Excellent pizza and cuisine with vegan options. Fast and very helpful service. Highly recommended!!!
Huge, delicious, and well-topped pizzas, with a super-trained and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to try the classic cuisine. 🥰
We went to Totò sapore on Monday evening, unfortunately the pizza was not available due to an unexpected health issue, but despite this, due to the limited choice on the menu, we asked Vincenzo the owner if he could accommodate us anyway and he warned us that he was not able to, but in that pizza we saw commitment and willpower and this is priceless, the pizza was truly good! The fried gnocco that we ordered was a spectacle, as was the pasta and the veal with tuna sauce. At first we were not very convinced, but with the presence of the waiter who welcomed us with a smile and with so much patience and professionalism, he immediately put us at ease! Fantastic in everything, the willpower and passion for a job there can be felt from the table!
We went to this restaurant pizzeria finding it almost by chance. The welcome was very warm and familiar. As a start we had an excellent farinata, then we ate some delicious dishes from the restaurant, all fresh and made at the moment. Next time we will go back to eat the pizza which had a beautiful appearance. Definitely recommended.
Delicious food and excellent service! Give it a try for yourself!
The former "Vecchio Forno" pizzeria, closed for several years after the untimely passing of the good Gianni, has reopened its doors in Bricherasio, where there are already three other pizzerias serving a population of nearly 5,000. The pizza is well-cooked, with a slightly thin crust, tasty, and pleasantly fragrant, thanks in part to the aroma of the grill. The service is more like that of a restaurant than a pizzeria. A large outdoor terrace allows for al fresco dining in the summer, but even this establishment is not adequately equipped to combat the increasingly aggressive mosquitoes that significantly disrupt what could be a relaxing moment enjoying one of the countless delicious pizzas, generally named after the ingredients used: Valdostana, with Fontina cheese, Sicilian with anchovies, sea and mountain with fish and mushrooms, Tyrolean with speck, and so on. Upon request, they make extra-large pizzas, enough to satisfy three hungry mouths, at a proportionally lower price. The restaurant has a spacious basement room that can seat about sixty people. What I found a bit annoying was the noise coming from the marble counter where the pizza chef sets out the pizza plates. A material to dampen the impact of the ceramic/marble countertop would be enough. The friendliness of the staff is commendable. As for prices, I'll leave it to potential future customers to decide. The two of us consumed: two pizzas, one medium and one small draft beer, two desserts, and two coffees for a total of €40 (including the "coperto" charge, one of the most hated items on restaurant menus).
Good food and a very nice owner
Pleasantly surprised by the new management. My compliments to Asia and Laura! They've improved exponentially compared to their predecessors. The staff is young and polite. The place is clean, although some improvements are still possible. The dishes were very well received. Well done, keep up this high standard and your customers will give you good publicity!
My wife and I went to this restaurant and pizzeria. The atmosphere was spacious and welcoming, the service was young and friendly, and the food was excellent. The fried gnocco was a gargantuan dish, and I really enjoyed it!
Totò Sapore is a pizzeria that brings the flavors of true Neapolitan tradition to Bricherasio, with fragrant pizzas, light dough, and generous toppings. The menu isn't limited to pizza: appetizers and simple Neapolitan dishes round out the offerings. The restaurant has a familiar and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for an evening with friends or a casual family dinner. The atmosphere is unpretentious, but authentic: the true strength is the passion evident in the dishes served. The staff is courteous and helpful, ready to carefully handle customer requests, contributing to a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Totò Sapore is a place that combines taste, simplicity, and hospitality, perfect for those who want to feel at home and eat well without frills. An experience that fully deserves its 4-star rating.
The pizza was a bit thick but light enough and easy to digest, very tasty right from the dough, and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Prices were in line with the amount of toppings on the pizzas, and the service was quick even on a Sunday evening. Update: Giropizza is highly discouraged. Ten large pizzas for a table of 25 people are unacceptable; they amount to five-eighths per person of a pizza that, if whole, costs the same as the giropizza.
