Great Martini on a Thursday nigth Supper affordable and sweet bartender
People were very friendly, solid bar to watch baseball or, to my surprise, rugby. $8 draft, decent pour. Will come again
We had the most incredible Thanksgiving at Doyle’s Corner. The atmosphere was cozy and festive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was beyond exceptional. Everything felt warm, welcoming, and perfectly curated for the holiday. A huge shoutout to the owner — you can truly feel the passion, care, and hard work poured into this place. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family. It’s rare to find an owner so hands-on, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure every guest has a great time. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back — not just for the food, but for the heart behind this neighborhood gem. 🧡🍁🦃
Took my dad here for some bar food. We both ended up getting the Irish breakfast which was reasonably priced. I meant to take a picture but I ended up eating before I remembered. I really enjoyed it, and my dad gave the bartender two thumbs up. The service was great, the bartender was attentive and nice to all the patrons. The atmosphere itself seemed like a cozy local bar, the bartender new many by name. Also plenty of TVs, would make a great place to catch a game
I been coming here for years. Even with a change of owners and i moved out. When i visit my mother i have to pull up to see the staff and food. Shout out to the connors and pauly!!!! My guy. And the food. Amazing. Porkchops!!!!!
If we could give 6/5 stars, this would be the place we do it. Food, service, and a good time never fail here! Even after the change in ownership Doyle’s Corner is a local favorite with amazing food and service. They even re-introduced trivia nights, karaoke nights, and other fun events to their weekly schedule. We’re big fans of their specials menu and love when they have the pork chops w/ mash and veggies. Between their wings, burgers, Sheppard’s Pie, spare ribs, even soups, you cannot go wrong here. Be aware though- this is mostly a beer bar. Some wines and spiked ciders available but minimal cocktails if you’re into that.
Fabulous Irish Bar in Astoria. Has a mix of Irish & local customers. Food is great. Chloe, Conor & Mike are great.🇮🇪
Doyle's Corner is the ultimate neighborhood Irish Pub. Charming owner Martin Hanrahan and barmen Paul and Connor make everyone feel like family. The food is excellent too, and so reasonably priced....check out the BBQ ribs! Of course the beer and cocktails and billiard table are all part of the fun here at Doyle's Corner. I'll see you there!
Good Irish pub with darts board & food options
The burger was very tasty, and finally found a pint of Harp! Seating,I am not sure about, I couldn't decide where to sit, the booths are nice, but is it just me ? It didn't feel like it would be comfortable, anyhow I opted for the stools and little counter table to eat, which was grand for an hour or so. Had no servers or bartenders with passive aggressive behavior..was in one or two reviews, maybe they got sacked long ago. One would hope so. ..The girl was very pleasant and polite and quams there...will definitely return for a Harpas it's not easy to find!??!
Went here for the first time last week. Plenty of outdoor seating and our waiter was very nice and welcoming! The place definitely has a neighborhood feel, in every way. Food and drinks were good, and nice size portions. Its CASH ONLY, which I wasn't told until I was given the check. That would've been good to know from the moment I sat at the table. Nice place overall, and I'd go again, but my advice to management/staff would be to immediately inform patrons that its CASH ONLY.
Terrible service, passive aggressive waitress telling us to order more things. Asked for water and they never brought it. We were the only brown people in the place so not sure if that factored in.
Don't know what happened but observed some weird behavior from bartender. Went with friends to watch a game, got an appropriate amount of drinks while watching. As we head into final of the game bartender becomes passive aggressive and trying to rush us patrons out. This was towards peak of game so we closed check and stood up to watch the end of the game. Barkeep guy then does several passes asking us "need anything else?". No we are fine just watching game "Ok have a good night" tapping us on shoulders to get out. The small group of us decided to leave. Recommend checking out another local pub in the area (first time experiencing this level of service). Very sad to see as we've been here several times to watch and drink a few pints.
Really disappointed with Doyle’s Corner Irish Pub. Three of us came specifically to watch the World Series and each had a couple of drinks. Just as the game hit the last inning, the bartender (blond hair and a piercing) rushed us to close our tab and even took my drink when it was still a third full. We just wanted to finish watching the end of the game — that’s basic etiquette when people come in for a sporting event. Instead, he was passive-aggressive and clearly wanted us out. Won’t be coming back. Terrible way to treat paying customers, especially when all we wanted was to see the final moments of the game we came for.
I asked how much IPA’s were and a second time and he said I had attitude and shooed me out. I have spent money here and on trivia thursdays. Do better with this entitled man in a cowboy outfit I was willing to spend until closing like nothing. But he wanted to shooo me out and shoo another person here which was someone new I was bringing. You guys probably won’t do anything about it it, but fix your bartenders attitude because he IS NOT ADAPT enough to understand I asked because the music was loud and my fiend asked too and was proceeded to be told to leave. These are the facts and not opinion I am willing to provide my phone number, my email , my friends as well to make sure you get the customers side. I also , have other pictures from trivia night to show I have been there.
