Katonah Pizza & Pasta Bronx Reviews
Katonah Pizza & Pasta is a fantastic spot that I always look forward to visiting. I really appreciate their great Sicilian slices, which are thick, flavorful, and consistently delicious. The variety of different types of slices is another big plus, as there’s always something new and tasty to try. This place is especially meaningful to me because my family and friends always stop here when passing through on Halloween, making it part of a fun and memorable tradition. The food, atmosphere, and memories all come together to make Katonah Pizza & Pasta a place I truly enjoy and highly recommend.
Pizzería Katona offers a wide and inviting menu that goes far beyond the usual pizza options. Alongside classic and specialty pies—such as meat lovers, white pizzas, and unique combinations—you’ll find a variety of appetizers, salads, pastas, calzones, strombolis, and even specialty rolls
I live in Yorktown Heights and this has become my got to for a tasty slice of pizza. Very tasty food
I’ve been coming here from the first day I moved into the Bronx! Good pizza good food! Trying new dishes we find the food is delicious. This past Sunday I ordered a Meatlovers Pizza which I have before but this pizza won the Gold Medal! My guests loved the pizza it was AMAZING! I give it at 10+10 Keep up the great recipes! Linda
Best pizza shop in NYC area, been to many in NYC and no one can provide you such verity and quantity! These slices are huge and full of toppings. Unlike many competitors who put 3 pieces of chicken! Honestly this place is clean, fresh and top of the line! I fly in and this is the first place I eat
Very good size for $3. Thin, crispy crunchy crust with good flavor. Cheese well cooked to give it the proper flavor. Tasty sauce (a tiny bit too much salt). The main negative, is that the slice is on the dry side, because the topping is spread too thin. If they kept the same amount of ingredients, but spread it over a slightly smaller pie, the slice wouldn't be as dry, and there wouldn't be as much exposed crust. Let's rate this one 93.
Always hoping the food will improve. Pizza is soggy. Tried whole pies and individual slices. Chicken rolls look and taste stale. Heros not great.
Ordered a couple of slices to go pizza was like cardboard cheap ingredients. also witnessed men that were working there smoking butts outside and then when they came in they never wash their hands and went on serving customers ...I was done
Garlic knots are nasty and dry. Pizza is mid
Popped in for a slice and asked if they had a grandma they gave me this weird corner that had heavy tomato and no noticeable garlic or basil. I got a regular slice too, the regular slice was par at best, sauce not outstanding but still better than the tomato breadstick shaped like a square they sold me claiming to be a grandma. These guys need a field trip to little Italy pizza shop on church and chambers to learn what a real grandma slice is
I was really disappointed with the atmosphere at this business. From the moment I walked in, there was an obvious divide in how employees were treated. The owners (yts) behind the counter were just talking amongst themselves.while the employees (latinos) doing the physical labor, ALL THE WORK. The dynamic came across as uncomfortable and, honestly, discriminatory.
The food here is nothing to brag about—fairly mediocre overall. The baked clams were the one highlight, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. While the service comes off as friendly on the surface, it quickly becomes overshadowed by the owner openly expressing their dislike for the community I work with. Their discriminatory attitude toward certain groups of people is unacceptable. An establishment that takes money from paying customers should welcome all guests equally, regardless of their disability, or sexual orientation. Because of this behavior, they will not receive another penny from me.
I ordered the chicken burger. It was not ground chicken meat made into a patty and grilled, it was a very hard, dry, flavorless chicken breast on a stale bun. Now I know!
Second time my pie sits on the ovens. Nothing called out. Unless you're assertive, you'll be waiting an extra five ten minutes. I simply hate arrogance when it comes to customer service. You see someone waiting for a bit please take initiative. I hate giving a lousy review, because we all have bad days, but Saturday's staff wasn't up to standard.
I ordered a small pepperoni pie and they charged me for it. When I got my delivery I gave them $10.00 tip. I went up stairs and seen that they gave me a small cheese pie. I called back three times and they kept hanging up on me. Very unsatisfying. To know I didn’t get what I paid for. Very un professional and the pizza was very cold. Highly disappointed.
I ordered meat Stromboli and I requested only sausage, bacon, and pepperoni but instead they gave me ham and American cheese but wasn’t the worst part the bread was super uncooked… I thought at first it was mozzarella cheese but when I ripped it a apart it wasn’t. I also ordered sausage on a hero and I called before I place the order and asked if they put sauce on the sandwich and they said no they put it on the side and I said great cause I didn’t want it but guess what they added the sauce on it and gave bread that hard enough to crack a tooth. when I got my food the container and receipt had tomatoes stains all over it and wasn’t packed probably like how the he’ll wouldn’t you seal my order so that the customers would feel safe about eating it. For all I know it could’ve been tampered with especially when food Wanda up outside of the packaging. Lastly the only thing that looked good was the zeppolis but I didn’t eat them because I simply didn’t trust the order after everything stated above. I was so upset because I was so hungry and had to settle for a canned soup 😢
