Anima Mundi Brooklyn Reviews
Really loved visiting this shop, the health coach Julian was super helpful and I felt like I learned a lot about the various benefits of these various tonics and powders. I got 3 different ones and am so excited to Try them. Also the shop is super cute with a drink bar, had a yummy mood boasting hot chocolate :)
Anima Mundi is my favorite apothecary in the city. It's beautiful, everyone is so nice, and they have amazing products. Chrysol made a custom tea blend for me and it really helped with the issue I was having. Definitely recommend her if you need any custom blends!
One of my fav apothecaries. As a student of herbalism, a birth guardian and mother of all things holistic healing I appreciate the calm nature of the store. The staff is lovely and the environment is inviting. I definitely recommend you come in or your herbal remedies, healing tools and even for a cup of tea.
Anima Mundi’s product line is unlike anything else — every herb, tonic, and blend feels crafted with pure intention and integrity. You can tell from the moment you open a jar or take a sip that quality and care go into every detail. The ingredients are vibrant, fresh, and sourced with a deep respect for the earth. The drinks are not only delicious but also functional. Each one feels like a ritual — balancing flavor with real nourishment. Whether it’s an adaptogenic latte, a superfood elixir, or one of their herbal tonics, you can feel the difference in your body and mind almost immediately. There’s a sense of vitality and clarity that lingers well after you finish. What I love most is that the blends aren’t just trendy wellness products — they’re rooted in traditional herbalism, yet still feel modern and accessible. It’s rare to find drinks that taste this good while also supporting true healing and daily balance. Genesis and the team at Anima Mundi have truly created something special — a product line that bridges wellness, ritual, and pleasure in every sip.
This place brings me so much joy. A beautiful store front and an incredible experience buying online as well (their gift wrapping is incredible). Everything is so quality, and it truly feels gooood giving gifts from here. Also, last thing, their tonics and lates are INSANE. 10 outta 10
Genesis & Sophie were an incredible help today! They helped me get all the herbs i needed and even gave me suggestions on others i didn’t think of. I love coming here to stock up on herbs for workshops for my clients! It helps me with peace of mind to support and source from an ethical company!
Absolute sanctuary in the mist of the concrete. Beginning with the welcoming life at its steps , to the awareness of the moon cycle at the entrance; this apothecary is a sense of comfort and ‘home’ with all life and medicine carried inside. tried their seasonal floral lemonade that was delicious is all forms and shapes. Allow your mind to blank and your senses to remember as you in-joy this space.
In LOVE with this place, the products, the ethos, the vibe, the goddesses who work here… all of it! It’s my go-to spot to bring my girlfriends visiting from out of town. We always get one (or several) of the medicinal lattes or mocktails. I stock up on bulk herbs for my teas when I’m here. One can’t help but feel refreshed, uplifted, and inspired when spending time in this intentionally curated space. They also host a lot of unique events for the community, and I’m looking forward to attending a journaling workshop or south bath in the future. I couldn’t help but do a little research on the Founder. Her story and mission are incredible and it reflects in the integrity of the products they carry.
I got there almost to closing on Friday for a private event & they kindly still let me in! I did have an idea of what I wanted & when they offered to help, they pointed out what was best related to what I was looking for! They were very personable & kind! They even wrote serving recommendations on the herbal bags & gave me a pretty small tote to carry along my merry way! Lalaaaave Anima Mundi! Wish they had a garden patio like Cali to hang, chill & vibe ✨
Anima Mundi is LOVELY i highly recommend coming here! It’s such a soothing apothecary and the staff are so knowledgeable, open, welcoming and had tons of fantastic suggestions. I bought The Sacred botanical smokes and I’m literally here again today to buy more. They smell so good and are such a wonderful alternative to weed. I also bought the Liver Vitality and Amargo bitters for digestion and even after just two days I feel great. These were all suggestions by Zoe who I now insist must be my friend lol 🥰🥰🥰 please whatever you’re paying her, double it. I used to manage a store and restaurant and finding someone with such a calm and friendly demeanor that takes curiosity and welcomes people is one in a million. Please stop by it’s such a great new addition to the neighborhood and I’m now a regular ^.^ Also do try the Euphoria elixir!
I’ve been buying their products online for years now and I finally got to go to the store!! It’s so beautiful and calming in here. The staff was so helpful to help us build a custom tea and walk us through all the healing properties of their products. An absolute must to visit if you’re in the area!!
I am a HUGE Anima Mundi fan, so it was an incredible experience getting to visit the store in person. It’s even more magical than the online store (as if that’s even possible). It was a special treat to try their smoothies, highly recommend their drinks. If I lived in NY, I’d be here all the time. Highly recommend!!
If you are looking for well labelled, beautiful presented herbs, come here. The staff is knowledgeable and the selection is broad. They offer classes, my primary reason for the excursion. It's an easy, scenic ferry ride on the East River line. I intend to visit again. There's so much to explore!
