Antojitos Del Patron Brooklyn Reviews
I stopped in because I spotted a $12 special for a half of a rotisserie chicken smothered in mole sauce that came with rice and a soda. Excellent deal, and meal. Will definitely be coming back. Atmosphere was cozy and staff were very welcoming.
I stopped by a random restaurant doing a random review. This place was clean, and beautiful. The food is great and fresh. I ordered 2 chicken postseason. They even had fresh avocado 🥑 for guacamole. I looked it.
I’ve been coming here for years, it is one of my favorite places to eat and drink near Prospect Park. Hector is the best server, he always makes us feel at home. Excellent service, kind, and respectful. Special shout out to Alex as well! These are some of the nicest people, always feel welcomed! We are regulars because of the great service and food.
Just great! Delicious, freshly made food. Attentive staff were pleasant and efficient. Great stop on the way to Prospect Park! Glad we found it.
Been coming to happy hour here weekly for the last year and have always had a great experience! The margaritas are always on point and I love the birria tacos. The staff, especially Hector and Alex, are always warm and friendly and make us feel so welcome!
Everything 10/10. Even the bathroom was beautiful. Service and food, worth it. Definitely be back. Tortas wow delicious. Perfect amount of seasoning, the flavor of the steak torta was incredible.
This place is great! The tacos are delicious and made to order. We also got the margaritas that were great as well! Definitely come to this spot: we’ve tried the place across the street and this one is way better!
Everything we ordered tasted delicious. The tamale in banana leaf is delicious. I also highly recommend the cactus tacos. The service is friendly and the price is right. They also serve margaritas.
Sat in for lunch and really enjoy the tacos and tortas. Food was fresh and authentic!
We ordered guaraches and table para 2, they were amazing!. Great service too.

Pretty good food and a reasonable price ! The server seemed to sort of forget about us sometimes and the card machine was broken. Held our card from when we walked in to when we left, which kinda sucked because I wanted to pay cash anyways 😭 I would've just preferred to prepay for our food rather than mess around with "opening a tab."
We had the guac and chips, the mushroom quesadilla, and the chicken tacos. Everything was really tasty and filling. Service was quick and nice. Beautiful decorations.
I see this team start early and finish late. They work nonstop and both the food and the service are great. Everything is fresh, they have never made a mistake in my order (in years!) and the place is spotless! Thank you guys for taking care of all my cravings while I was pregnant and beyond! In a time when we, Latinos, are considered “less” you show how it’s done!

Great place for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. Love the Patron tamal, a oaxacan-style tamal with rich sauce and smoked flavor from banana leaves

The food is fresh, the service is friendly and the restaruant is comfortable. The pic is my cute after dinner drink. I had the special tacos, chips and salsa!
Decent food and good service. The guac could have been a little spicy I fell but not complaining as it was tasty. The cactus tacos were amazing.

Mixed bag. Mainly writing this to inform whoever it may concern that they're bizarrely stingy with rice. I ordered the special, which arguably was a super deal, but the rice portion was like barely half a portion. They asked me kindly to move soon after I had started my meal bc a large family had arrived and I put up no complaint. They could have comped me a extra side of rice but they charged me. I guess i could have pleaded my case but i support local. Blah blah blah single people have no rights ok done. Food was good though. Huge portion of chicken smothered in lovely mole
Food was great, but we were told we couldn't get the big tacos with steak only special tacos which is fish and shrimp. That was odd.. the regular tacos are kind of small. But still delicious. The man we ordered from seemed standoff-ish and seemed to have a. It of an attitude. That took away from our experience. First spot we tried in Brooklyn. I'd go back and give them another shot. the food itself is a 5. But because of the issues I stated I cannot give it a 5.

So we picked this spot b/c of the desserts and we should’ve left after the first drink was sent back. The spiked lemonade tasted like it was Minute Maid w/ vodka, tasted very artificial. The tacos and the shrimp quesadilla were good. The Mexican salad was so bad! The chicken was unseasoned and tasted so weird. Needless to say we didn’t stay for dessert.

Overcooked eggs and chilaquiles don't mix. Don't even make adding eggs an option if you're going to be that way. Chilaquiles don't have lettuce on them either. If someone wants lettuce they can ask for it. Take the chilaquiles off the menu instead of punishing patrons for ordering them. This messed up my Sunday morning.

Food and service were horrible. Enchiladas were stuffed with what tasted like gamey old chicken. They used chopped up dark meat inside instead of the usual shredded chicken breast. The sauce also did not taste fresh. It had a strange taste and totally lacked flavor. The rice was gross. Literally everything was terrible. We got steak tacos also. I asked if they were lean or had pieces of fat (I hate fat in my steak tacos). He said they didn’t have fat. Well… they had a considerable amount of fat and the tortilla was soaked in oil that was not fresh. We waited around ten minutes and my margarita never arrived (the place was not busy so they just forgot). When our food arrived, I just told him to forget about my margarita (although I knew he already had forgotten). Both my mother and I felt gross after eating and the bad quality made my excema flare up. Horrible experience.
