We’ve always loved Bacchus and loved the renovation as well. The ribeye was truly chefs kiss, service makes us want to continue coming back and the chocolate chip is a reason in and of itself to dine. Neighborhood FAV!!!!

Great authentic French food at a very reasonable price. Can't go wrong with this place. The wine selection is great as well.

Delicious food and service but I enjoyed so much the live performance for the 20 anniversary. The ambiance was vibrant with game and music for all.

Highly recommend. This was one of the most authentic French bistro food and was delicious. Felt like we were back in Paris with the way the food was prepared. The cheese board was full, salad tasteful, and burger was great. Highly recommend the cookie skillet for dessert.

What an amazing gem! I saw this restaurant while out exploring the area from out of town, and I'm so glad that I stopped in. The ambiance is just lovely and the staff was so friendly and helpful as well. I ordered a glass of the Peyros and the ribeye steak. Wonderful pairing and fantastic steak cooked to perfection, I did not however read the size and was left with so much steak for the next few days. (No complaints here). I highly recommend this beautiful spot here in Brooklyn. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

My wife and I were visiting Brooklyn and decided to have a date night at Bacchus. We had a great experience—even with a weeknight wedding happening in their event space next door. Service was still excellent; the staff were attentive and accommodating, and the main dining room had a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. It reminded us of the great meals we had while visiting Paris...a true French bistro experience. Highly recommend.

My husband and I got married at Bacchus last August and it was an absolute dream! Meryl and her team were a joy to work with from the moment we visited the space, right through to our wedding day. It was everything we wanted (amazing food, a fun, intimate space..) and we wish we could do it all again! A huge thank you to Meryl and her team for being so patient and accomodating throughout the planning process (including multiple tastings for food and wine) and for making our wedding day extra special. We are still getting notes from family members and friends about how wonderful the space, the food, and the staff were!

This restaurant is really beautiful! Love the ambiance, the food was amazing, service is impeccable. The short rib super tender and flavorful, the crab was delicious, not a lot of fillers. The burger is good, the French toast

Not sure what I can add that probably hasn't already been said but here goes... We've been coming to Bacchus for years and it's always been a very pleasurable dining experience. The staff, particularly the super hard-working manager, are always quite friendly. Food is terrific, our hangar steaks on a recent visit were fantastic. Not sure if it's still on the menu but they used to make the best croque madame in the neighborhood at brunch. Lastly, the wine list is extensive and should have something for everyone. All of the above keeps us coming back. Give'em a try!

I attended a wedding at Bacchus. The venue was simple yet elegant for the wedding. The food was amazing. Appetizers to main course were delicious. The staff was attentive and helpful. Would recommend for any kind of celebration

MUSSEL MANIA!!!! The best place for mussels will always be at a French restaurant, and I'm glad that I walked past here one summer day and enjoyed a glass of wine and some mussels. DELICIOUS!!!! Cute dim place with outdoor seating in the back and great wine selection. Came in around 5ish on a Saturday but by the time I was leaving it was starting to become primetime and the foodie folks were rolling in. Small menu but great options available. So if you're looking for great food and intimate calm vibe. Try here !

I must say this is my favorite place. The team really makes you feel like family and the food is always amazing. I joke it’s my cheers bar. Every season their menu changes are spot on. Try the risotto, branzino or crab salad. The steak and beet salad are staples and feeling soup the French Onion is out of this world. I love their backyard and seeing all the brides love the experience. It’s a neighborhood gem. Thank you for always making me feel special, whether I’m in a group, just the family or alone. You guys are the best. If you have tried. I promise it’s worth it.

Finally brunch in NYC that was so satisfying. Everything was up to par, not to mention extremely fair pricing considering some overpriced and tourist trap joints in the city like Sara Beth. Service was great, food quality and taste was excellent. Will probably visit again for dinner. Seating area had a very nice vibe. Je recommande indéfiniment 👌🏽

Had a lovely brunch with my visiting parents at Bacchus. Service was friendly and warm and the ambience of the space was great - not too loud on a Saturday at 1pm. We had the omelet, salad bowl, and croque madame; all three were tasty! Overall a fab place to bring the parents.

I can see why the Chef won an award for the stuffed cabbage. Excellent chocolate chip cookies with Vanilla ice cream for dessert. The service was great!

Cute spot and great food! We started off with the potato purée and it was really airy and smooth. Also had the French onion soup and I liked the amount of cheese it had on top and on the side of the bowl. The hanger steak was juicy and I highly recommend the peppercorn sauce add on. It really goes well with the steak. The potatoes on the dish were also really good. They had a nice crisp on the outside and well seasoned.

Wonderful experience! We ordered octopus, asparagus, and salmon. As beautifully arranged and plated as the pictures depict, the food was more than pleasing to the palate. We didn't know this at the time, but there is more outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant.

Came here with my partner, it's one of her family's favorite restaurants. I enjoyed this beautiful salmon and the mussels here are a dish she loves. Typical prices and portions of a restaurant of this sort Update: after returning to Bacchus with my partner's family I tried the duck loin. It tasted so much like steak, I was amazed. The fries and diced potatoes are great too. The food is impressive here, but I will say you may want to order an appetizer.

This place is a must go. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner experience and added the wine pairing to our order. Each wine complemented our meal so beautifully, we are so glad to have found this hidden gem in our neighborhood and will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for making this such a wonderful girls night out for us

We had an event here and they did an amazing job. The service, the space and ease of everything was fantastic. The food was incredible. Not event food incredible, but if I went to a nice restaurant incredible. We were all blown away by how great everything was.

Came here for a wedding! Food, service and drinks were wonderful! Place is large enough to hold large parties. Our friends’ wedding was probably around 60 people, but they can certainly host larger groups! Backyard, dance space and the bar were spacious! Lovely experience! Will definitely come back and consider this spot in the future! P.S.: fruit tart dessert was sooooo good! The best I’ve had in a long time!

Really nice French restaurant with an impressive wine list. Cozy feel, soft lighting, it's a great date spot. Food was fantastic. My wife got the venison entree came with a chestnut sauce, myself I ordered the rib eye steak that came with potatoes and mushrooms and it was all delicious. The place is very relaxed, so if you're looking for a casual unrushed experience, this is the spot for it. Have the hunch it can get quite busy though.

Nice atmosphere and they even had a canopy that came out when it started to rain while we were sitting outside. Really nice staff too and food was exquisite!

What a lovely place!! Came here on a date with my boyfriend and got to sit in their lovely outdoor space. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and our food came so fast that we were genuinely surprised at how soon after being seated we were actually eating. I had their beef cheek bourguignon which was delicious and my bf had the steak, with came with an amazing sauce. We also had the lava cake, which took a bit too long to arrive and didn't blow me away, but it wasn't enough to knock off a star. All in all a very cute spot with delicious food and great waiters.

Friendly service. Beautiful backyard setting. I suggest you make a reservation, because could be busy. We had lamb shank and angus burger which was delicious. Focaccia bread was amazing.

The wine and food recommendations from the waitress were on point. The food itself- I have never had a duck cooked this well. I love a delicious French restaurant without the snobbery usually associated with it.

Absolutely perfect place to spend New Year's Eve. They serve all the foods we crave when looking for a fine dining experience. The wine selection was amazing. All of the food was so good. Especially the seared foie gras with the Filet Rossini. Chef's kiss! The staff was so attentive and made our visit so enjoyable and fun. We had the best time, thank you so much!

Had a relaxing dinner with my wife, our reservation was for 6pm. There was a wedding reception taking place in the private rooms which seemed to draw the focus of the wait staff initially. This is the ONLY thing I can say even slightly negative dinner was fantastic. The French onion soup is worth the price of admission, the cheese and red onion were savory. Had the duck Magret for entree and she had the Branzino. We accompanied everything with a bottle 'Feuille de Garance Rouge' 2020. For dessert I had the tiramisu, she had the creme brulee. Definitely a place I will be returning to.

My partner and I went all out here at Bacchus and it was absolutely delicious. We saw they had like a meat plate but had a minimum of 3 people but we asked our server because we were interested in the bone marrow and they ended up bringing out two pieces with some toast and pesto, each piece for $10, and it was very well worth it and super kind of them. Food came out fast, even on a Friday night which was impressive. We got the mussels too as an appetizer and I’d highly recommend that as well. We also ordered the pate because it seemed higher in protein (if you care about that) but we can’t wait to come back and try the foie gras. After ordering so many apps we’re glad we ordered fish for our entrees. All in all, we ordered a lot, and the bone marrow was definitely very filling but great to order every once in a while and especially impressed Bacchus was able to accommodate our bone-marrow desires.

What a treat for the palate and taste buds our dinner test yesterday at Bacchus. The wine pairing with the dishes was just perfect! And this tarte tatin revisited by the chef, simply delicious! We hope to be able to participate in other dinner tests. Very good concept these Tuesday dinner tests. We recommend it.

We had our baby shower here in October 2023. So this review is long overdue. I was set on the event being outdoors, in the backyard area. Unfortunately, on the day of, we got hit with heavy rain. The Bacchus team was so amazing and accommodating. I chose Bacchus because they do such beautiful outdoor events. But with the way they improvised, making an outdoor event into an indoor one, with such short notice, was incredible. I believe I wound up liking the indoor aspect even more! Our baby shower hosted 50 people. Bacchus started with an outdoor covered cocktail hour, with a specialty drink in our honor. After which, our guests were led into the indoor dining area set up. We’ve eaten here both before and after our baby shower. So we knew the food would be great. Nonetheless we were impressed and so were our guests. Thank you Bacchus and Meryl!

My wife and I decided to hold a party here after our courthouse ceremony, and it was absolutely amazing. Meryl answered all of our questions and was quick to reach out if anything needed clarifying. The food, needless to say, was outstanding. The decor was arranged beautifully with a combination of what we brought and what the restaurant provided, and it very much exceeded expectations. Our host and the sommelier for the evening made my wife and I feel at home and taken care of, like family for the night, even going so far as to provide a separate plate for those with allergies and remembering names. I highly recommend booking your events here, if not at least coming for dinner. We’ll definitely be coming back for seconds!

5 stars! Beautiful, high quality, professional and affordable. We cannot express enough how ecstatic we were with Bacchus hosting our wedding. This was the absolute best decision we could have made. Not only were they extremely affordable with highly competitive pricing for the area, but the quality of the food, treatment, service and venue was unbeatable. Our dream Brooklyn wedding was made a reality (in only 8 months!) because of Bacchus. The staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond. Each and every one of them. They were completely hands on every step of the way and covered every detail, even the ones we didn’t think of. Our decor was assembled and put up for us. All the drinks we wanted were served. Every allergy (and there were many) was perfectly accommodated. The wine selection was top tier! Thank you, Kaza! And the food!! Wow! Chef’s kiss. Our guests continue to talk about it to this day. The space is so minimalistic, beautiful and rustic. Very little needed to be added to complete our vision. We were even supplied with a beautiful cage for our cards so we did not have to buy our own. My guests were so well taken care. WE were so well taken care of! They were with us every step of the way and with the best and kindest attitudes, it’s almost hard to believe. A very special thank you to Meryl for her leadership, kindness, attention to detail and cool control. Her support was truly priceless and allowed us to just be present on our special day. We could not recommend Bacchus more. Truly. A million thanks and a lifetime of memories made. We’ve shared some of our favorite pictures to reflect our deep gratitude. Sincerely, Chrystelle & Ra

We did a buyout of Bacchus's wine room (for cocktail hour) and dining room (for dinner) to celebrate our elopement with our friends and family. It was an intimate affair with only 37 of us dining that evening and was an absolutely perfect evening, from the food, the drinks, the coordination, music and more. Meryl, who worked with us to plan our event, was incredible and made our vision for the evening come true. Planning & Coordination: Meryl was fantastic. She was attentive in talking through our plans for the evening and flexible with accommodating any special asks for the evening to really make the event special for our guests. She was especially helpful in figuring out the right seating arrangement for our guests to ensure that the room felt connected and cohesive. Communication was so easy and all the final planning in the days leading up to the event was done so effortlessly that when the day came, there was nothing to worry about. We were able to enjoy the evening with our guests. Food: Excellent. Our guests LOVED the food. We served the meal family style so everyone had a little bit of everything. We have friends that are saying they'll go back for dinner soon. Staff: The staff was amazing, they were attentive and well-coordinated. Everything flowed so well. Atmosphere: It was a really sweet, intimate, romantic evening. We had lots of candles everywhere (both supplied by myself and Bacchus) and it made the room look so beautiful. If you ever need to host an intimate dinner in Brooklyn, I highly recommend inquiring with Bacchus. Or if you just want to have a delicious dinner (or brunch), definitely go too! I cannot wait to go back. photos taken by: @carissajoy.photo (IG)

This was the cutest little patio venue for a small bridal shower, with fantastic food, staff, and an excellent location for my friends' Bridal Shower Brunch. Bacchus outdid themselves once again. Their brunch menu was perfect for my friend’s birthday celebration. There wasn’t a single thing that we ordered that wasn’t absolutely amazing. I mean look at the variety. The meat is always perfectly cooked and the best quality. The ambiance was perfect for an intimate time and the staff were super friendly and attentive. She felt really special. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Dined at Bacchus as part of a business dinner that I was hosting. Despite it being the holidays, the team at Bacchus made the whole process so smooth and effortless, from booking a private room all the way to the end of the event. The service were excellent on the day of, the food was to notch, and the decor of the private room was thoughtfully done. I will definitely be back! I was there on a weekday night and the restaurant was fully packed. Really nice vibes inside.

We held our ceremony and reception at Bacchus for our intimate (70 person) wedding a month ago - and my husband and I (along with our guests) had a wonderful experience. Our planning period was around 6-7 months, and the whole process was fairly easy and low-key. I researched other restaurants/venues in Brooklyn, and it was the most affordable/had the best value out of all the options we looked into. We met with Meryl (the Bacchus coordinator) a few times and she was great to work with. We went in for a tasting, and the food was incredible. On the day of, the weather was unexpectedly awful and extremely windy, and Meryl and the Bacchus crew were able to seamlessly adjust the seating last minute. The venue itself is lovely, so we didn't have to do much for decorations and just ordered flowers for the tables. The wine bar section just got renovated literally a day or two before our wedding - and it was beautiful! We highly recommend Bacchus as a wedding venue!!

My husband and I had our wedding here (destination wedding from San Francisco- I grew up in NY and our guests were scattered all over) and it was fantastic. So easy to plan, no need to hire a planner beyond Meryl. We’ve also gone for dinner before and after the wedding, most recently tonight, and it’s one of those restaurants I would love to have in my local neighborhood in SF. Terrific food and wine list, lovely staff, cozy atmosphere, what more could you ask for!

I had the pleasure of photographing this couple’s beautiful fall wedding at this incredible restaurant, and I highly recommend it! The food and atmosphere were absolutely amazing, creating the perfect setting for a memorable celebration. What I love most about this venue is its versatility—you can have both an outdoor and indoor dance floor to keep the party going all night long. It’s a fantastic choice for any wedding! ig @konradbrattke

What a lovely place (we would have enjoyed to stay outside in a summer evening)! We all enjoyed each of our plates. The homemade Foie Gras was exquisite, please make you a favor and taste it! Meats were excellent, well cooked and with an excellent pepper sauce. Desserts were delicious. A great experience with a lovely staff.

I had the absolute pleasure to host my small wedding dinner at Bacchus in early November and couldn’t have picked a better restaurant to do so. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Meryl goes above and beyond and is so good at what she does. The teams experience shows! We had our dinner in the main dining room and it was so cozy, rustic, and perfect for 30 of our closest friends and family. Our guests were all amazed by the service and the quality of food. The French Onion Soup, Black Angus Hanger Steak, & Chocolate Cake were definitely all the hits of the night I’d say! Everyone absolutely loved everything. We dropped off decorations the day before and sent them a seating chart. When we arrived everything was put in its place and they added a few extras (votive candles/ bud vases) to really tie the room together! Perfect touch. We were so impressed that there was another wedding happening just next door, but we couldn’t hear a thing/service was never delayed because of it. Everything was so smooth and effortless! We couldn’t have had a better experience or a more wonderful night anywhere else celebrating this most special time in our lives, if it weren’t for Meryl and the whole Bacchus team. Thank you thank you thank you! I couldn’t recommend them more for a wedding, special event, or everyday dinner. Happy New Year to the team and we can’t wait to dine there again soon!

I’ve been going to Bacchus for some time now, but today they made my engagement truly unforgettable. My boyfriend proposed here, and he shared how Meryl made the entire surprise engagement seamless and stress-free. I’m forever grateful to have been able to share such a special moment with my family at this incredible place. I cannot recommend Bacchus enough for any event—party, birthday, engagement, or celebration of any kind. The staff is absolutely amazing, and this place is truly special.

Bacchus should have 5 stars! It is an outstanding restaurant with incredible staff, bar, and sommelier. We had a small wedding celebration recently and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. We rented out the beautiful wine bar area and we were able to decorate the space as we pleased. The food was incredible and the service was very quick. We loved the wine and cocktail options and all of our guests were so happy with the food and drinks. Meryl and everyone at Bacchus were so helpful and gracious and we can’t wait to come back! I will continue recommending Bacchus to everyone!

Bacchus treats you like family. The owner of the restaurant, Bruno, gave us our first tour, the wedding and event coordinator Meryl helped us to plan every detail of an all-inclusive wedding and we were beyond satisfied every step of the way. Likewise, Meryl and her staff were responsive, kind, understanding, and patient with our persistent communication and innumerable questions. Holding to French tradition - they offered incomparable food and drink options, including options for vegan guests, and offered a variety of ways to reach the food and beverage minimum, like additional desserts and wine pairings. On our wedding day, Meryl and her team were at our sides when we needed them and taking care of everything else such as setting up our unconventional guest book, and ensuring that we kept on pace with our wedding day schedule so we didn’t worry about it. Bacchus Bistro offers unparalleled value, incredible familial service, and a neighborhood or backyard ambiance that made it an easy choice for my wife and I. Their food and drinks are truly incredible, change seasonally, and will always leave you dreaming for the next time you can return. We have a special place in our hearts for Bacchus. So much so that when we returned a year later to celebrate our anniversary, Meryl and Francois greeted us by name, wished us a happy anniversary, and helped us to celebrate even while they were hosting another wedding.

The food was fantastic and the vibe is quaint and feels like you are in a Paris bistro. It was too cold to be outside but the patio looked lovely. The mussels were divine as was the peppercorn sauce for the steak. Bread and butter is a must! And the staff was kind and friendly.

Real French classic cooking. I indulged with the veal. Wonderful use of vinegar in a dish than can easily be too rich. Khaza was very welcoming too. I’ll be back!

Got tons of compliments because of how naturally pretty it is on its own — string lights and lanterns are really a vibe especially at night! We were looking for a more intimate and casual setting rather than a more formal wedding in a reception hall and we fell in love with the food and the place going for dinner one night. Service was great on the night of and communication beforehand was top notch. Meryl was incredibly helpful with the logistics and provided not only reccomendations on vendors but also how to optimize the space (due to our large guest count). They were receptive to our thoughts and ideas of how we wanted the night to go and how it would fit with their space. They also lent us a projector to play a game and provided some of the decor (small candles, lanterns, and hanging linens). Overall they’re a well-oiled machine with the best food (3 course plated meal) — they’re a restaurant after all! 100% would reccomend duck confit. Our wedding coordinator said that we were given a very good price for the superb level and quality of service that was included. Overall, the staff are lovely and shows how passionate they are about making our big day wonderful -- would rate this a 100 out of 10 experience. Regardless if you’re looking to have your wedding here or not — 100% you should come here in a regular day have dinner here!!! My husband and I sometimes just drop by to eat (p.s. don’t think about it and just get the bread and butter). Super accessible by train! :) We come all the way from Flushing -- that's how yummy their food is :P

We had our wedding at Bacchus and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, the team was attentive and caring, making sure every detail felt smooth and stress-free. On the day itself, the atmosphere was warm, beautiful, and intimate — exactly the kind of setting we had imagined for celebrating with our closest family and friends. The food was outstanding. So many of our guests kept telling us how much they loved every dish, and we couldn’t agree more. It really felt like we were sharing a meal that was crafted with love and intention, which made it even more meaningful for us. What stood out the most was the way the staff handled everything with such calm professionalism while still being kind and personal. We never once had to worry about anything — they made sure we could actually be present and enjoy the day. Bacchus will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We’re so grateful to everyone there for helping us create memories we’ll cherish forever.

I recently photographed a wedding at Bacchus and it was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious and the backyard is the perfect spot for an intimate Brooklyn wedding. I can't wait to be back for more weddings later this year and next.

I recently dined at this French restaurant and had an enjoyable experience. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, showing clear attention to detail. The service was excellent, our main server was attentive, and another staff member on the floor kept us laughing with lighthearted jokes, which really added to the atmosphere. For dessert, we tried the tarte Tatin. It was tasty but served with whole baked apple rather than the traditional peeled and sliced style, which I personally prefer. Even so, it was delicious. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its great food, friendly service, and lively dining experience.

As a wedding officiant, I've had the pleasure of working at many venues across the city, and Bacchus in Brooklyn is, without a doubt, one of the absolute best. I'm giving it five stars from a vendor's perspective, and I would give it ten if I could! Every single wedding I have officiated here has been a dream. The space itself is stunningly beautiful and has a warm, intimate ambiance that is perfect for a celebration of love. But what truly sets Bacchus apart is its incredible staff. From the moment I arrive, the team is welcoming, organized, and remarkably efficient. They are true professionals who ensure every detail is handled, which allows me to focus completely on the couple. One of the most telling signs of a well-run venue is punctuality, and I can honestly say that every ceremony I've performed at Bacchus has started exactly on time. That is a rare and wonderful thing in the wedding world! The seamless coordination makes the entire day less stressful and more joyful for everyone involved. If you are a couple looking for a gorgeous, welcoming, and impeccably run venue for your wedding, I cannot recommend Bacchus highly enough. It's a true gem in Brooklyn.

Food was absolutely delicious and the prefixed menu was well priced for everything we got. Wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful, albeit a little slow at times. Atmosphere is very nice and quaint, though there was a loud event/party going on in the second half of the restaurant.

My friend and I came here for restaurant week and it did not disappoint. The service, ambiance, food and wine was 10/10. Highly recommend for a date night, brunch or girl dinner.

We captured a wedding (both photo and video) at Bacchus Bistro recently, and it was one of the most intimate and memorable celebrations we’ve been part of. The entire venue has such a warm, inviting vibe, starting with the beautiful outdoor space where the reception was held. It felt effortlessly charming and photographed beautifully throughout the evening. Inside, the bar and dining area gave off that cozy, timeless feel you only really get from a true restaurant venue. The staff was fantastic, organized, welcoming, and clearly experienced with events. And the food? Genuinely incredible. It's something we always notice when weddings are hosted at restaurants instead of traditional venues: the quality and consistency of the food are just on another level. The guest count was around 150, and it felt like the perfect number for the space, everyone was comfortable, and nothing felt overcrowded. A really special spot for couples who want a celebration that feels personal, elegant, and food-focused. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Hosted my birthday party at Bacchus and it was so beautiful. It’s the perfect blank slate for a classy event, and I loved their garden area. The staff had been very attentive and brought out the food quickly, and my guests loved the food. My guests also loved the charm of the restaurant in general. Highly recommend hosting any event here if you’re thinking about it!

Cozy and good French restaurant. Small garden inside the restaurant is a true charm and food gives us a simple taste that is just enough to feel the French cuisine.

I've been here a few times both for brunch and dinner. I love the hanger steak with the peppercorn and shallot sauces, which is both on the brunch and dinner menus. I've also had the crab salad and a few of the desserts. Everything is delicious. Also, there's a bottomless brunch option for $42 including an entree which makes this a great place to go to. Will definitely be back!

We chose Bacchus as our wedding venue because it was the perfect mix of intimate, elegant, and reasonably priced—and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely fantastic, and our guests are still raving about it! Huge shoutout to Meryl, our main point of contact, who was incredible throughout the entire process. From planning to day-of coordination, she brought such a calm, organized, and thoughtful presence that made all the difference. Everything flowed seamlessly, and we truly felt so well taken care of. Thank you, Meryl and the entire Bacchus team, for helping us create a day we’ll never forget!

Cute for brunch. A nice outdoor space. Someone was having a baby bday party. Super cute patio space. Looks like it's nice for intimate events. They do host weddings. Good place to check out.

Great service can make a place. This place has that. The food was good. We had a nice dinner with friends here. We all were happy with the food. Some had the steak and fries. Others had Salmon which is what I had. They asked how to cook the salmon which is a plus in my book. Not all restaurants do. It was cooked perfectly. I tried the tart for dessert. It’s something I had never tried before. I wasn’t crazy about it. Not the restaurants fault tho since I was trying something new. The service was great! Extremely friendly and attentive. I would recommend.

What a gem in the neighborhood! Loved the vibes at @bacchusbistrowine and the garden seatings in the back, and our waitress was very nice too☺️ Steak was great but a bit dry, might’ve been better with some sauce. It did go quite well with the white wine they recommended though. I tried a bit of the salmon and it was really tasty! Went so well with the vegetables. Escargot was amazing. Super fresh and juicy! Will have to revisit🥰

We chose the 3 course pre fixe menu for the evening before our show at BAM. Food is good and the service is great. Dessert, so so. While waiting for our bottle of red wine to breath, our waiter come by with a glass of bubbles for each on the house. I would definitely recommend this place for pre show dinner.

I was hovering between a 3 for the mediocre service and a 4 because the food was worth it. Wait time for attention from the servers was a little annoying, but once the food got to the table I *almost* forgot about the wait. Generous portions of bread and butter ($6) and the wine menu was deep. Great wine selection ($9 and up by the glass) for pairing with any dish. We had the Magret (duck for uncultured people like me - $38) and the Black Angus Hanger steak ($27) and an extra side of sautéed mushrooms. The winner was definitely the duck! Flavorful and prepared perfectly. One thing I really like about this restaurant is their portion size - left me wanting a little more but it was the perfect size to satiate the appetite. Mushrooms were great and so was the steak. Just had to wait a little extra for service even with a slow restaurant.

Unpretentious local French restaurant and wine bar. Love the ambiance, romantic and relaxing. Great place for a meal or enjoying a glass of wine with your friends, family or by yourself. Food was tasty. The wait was a bit too long for the main dishes (thus the four star review), but we went on a Saturday night. Verdict: I recommend to check out the place!

Great food! The hanger steak was my favorite. The Ribeye was also very good. The only downside were the mushrooms that came with the dishes- they seemed very good but were way too salty so it spoiled a bit the experience.

First visited this restaurant on Valentine's. I was inspired by good opinions in social media. A very large, rich wine selection. The service is very nice, you can see that they care about the customer. The menu is poor, as for a French restaurant, there is not much choice. As for the dishes tasty, well prepared. I still have to go to lunch and taste the dishes

Food was decently priced and good, albeit mild taste. French onion soup and escargot underwhelming. Mussels were good. Outdoor dining area is very nice but be wary of mosquitoes during the summer season.

Had a wonderful date night dinner here recently, the food was delicious and the staff was attentive and accommodating. We started off with the Escargot au Beurre d’Ail & Anise and a French Onion Soup to share – both were really flavorful and warm, the soup was sweet and cheesy, and the escargot were buttery and paired well with the crispy bread. We ordered the hangar steak for dinner, with the choice of either a peppercorn sauce or a shallot sauce (we got both!) and a side of mushrooms and potatoes. The steak was so tender and cooked perfectly, and both of the sides were delicious and a great accompaniment to the steak. We also each had a glass of wine. Only complaint was that our dinners came out a little cold, like they’d been sitting out for a while. Our meal was great and I think the price was reasonable for the area and how much we ordered, I’d come back again!

We went for the Thanksgiving pre-fix menu and it was lovely. Everything was very flavorful and in theme. The salad was my favorite, it tasted like Turkey and was fresh at the same time. The sweetness on the dessert was perfect.

I love that the restaurant is quiet and intimate. The portion sizes are sufficient. The salmon entree was cooked well to my request and the wine list is extensive. My only issue is the mice come out to play.

Food was good, and a bit pricey for basic French fare, especially since we got charged for bread and butter (imported?) Additional charge for credit card use so that was a bit jarring. Location is understaffed for large parties so it maybe better for smaller parties. Tough to find parking.

Well, I’m clearly missing something. Off night, maybe? My selection? Could be? But I had the French onion soup. Average. Too sweet in my opinion. Cassoulet for main. It was so under seasoned. Even with all that fatty protein. The duck sausage was over cooked. Duck confit was good, but under seasoned. The hardest part was the texture. It was coated in a very grainy breading or something. It was like eating sawdust. The best thing I had was a side of potatoes. Seasoned perfect.

Nice environment, cozy, warmly lit, but with nice natural light from the back patio doors. The service was friendly but unintrusive, they refilled water and coffee frequently. The food was decent - there are better options in the area, but still a decent place for brunch (we haven't tried dinner service here). Prices are par for the neighborhood.

I went here on a Sunday evening and Pasquale was the only servers for the entire restaurant. I ordered the French Onion soup, Cassoulet, and Frites. The French onion soup had lots of flavor and was a little on the sweet side. My Cassoulet had quite a few undercooked beans but the duck confit, and pork belly was stellar in the cassoulet. I asked for aioli with my fries and thebserver brought me some sort of shredded cheese and just dropped it at the table. When I asked what it was , he said Aioli. I then said this isn't aioli, and he said I know but it's the closest we had. While I appreciate his effort, I wasn't a fan of the perceived ignorance. Either way, I think I would try it again because they had a very robust menu.

The ambiance is nice. They start of strong with their appetizers but they fall short on the entrees. I had a French onion soup, and it may be the best I've ever had. I had the halibut special and I wasn't a fan of it all but the vegetables and potatoes were good. My dad got their cabbage meal but lost his appetite when he found plastic in his food. The staff handled the situation well and gave us free drinks and they took the meal off the receipt. I think they're good for starters but the dinner was disappointing.

Twas the night before Christmas and Bacchus was short-staffed and did not have enough mussels. I knew something was off when the waitress said they ran out of sparkling water and could only serve us tap water. As an appetizer we had the tuna avacodo tartare which was ok. There was more avacado than tuna and the appetizer came with only two crustinis, which was not enough for this type of dish. I ordered the seafood pappardele which arrived lukewarm and portions of the mussels were cold. The mussels were very fishy tasting and I could not finish eating them. There was one clam and one scallop in the dish. The shrimp was fine; the calamari ok. The sauce was watered down. Overall the dish was not good for the price charged. My date tried to order the mussels and fries dish and was told no by the waitress. She said they were saving mussels for the pappardele dishes and did not have enough. How does a French restaurant not have enough mussels for Christmas Eve dinner at 7pm?! My date settled for a burger with fries which was underwhelming. No ketchup was offered with the fries until my date finally flagged a food runner who finally brought it after the fries were already cold. The waitress was nowhere to be found and did not check in with us as to whether the food was OK. Other guests were also looking around for service and appeared annoyed that the restaurant did not have enough mussels on Christmas Eve. This was a very poor Christmas Eve experience and we could not wait to leave the restaurant. We did not even bother asking for the dessert menu. I had high hopes as the reviews seemed good for this place but unfortunately we would not recommend going here. And we don't plan to return.

As an interior designer with years of experience in high-end environments, I’m used to restaurants that not only look great but also provide thoughtful, respectful service. Sadly, this place fell far below that standard. When I arrived, I couldn’t find a single clean table. I politely asked the waitress if she could help me find another spot, and although she was kind, she was clearly in a rush and simply told me, “Everything is closed,” without trying to assist or offer a solution. Feeling tired, I decided to sit at one of the dirty tables. Moments later, the manager approached me in a very rude and condescending way, telling me I had no right to sit without permission. He kept repeating that he had 15 years of experience in this business, as if that justified his behavior. Instead of trying to understand what I was asking for or simply offering help, he chose to speak down to me with no courtesy at all. To be fair, the food was good—but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the way I was treated. The manager showed no willingness to listen or resolve the situation, and his attitude ruined what could have been a nice experience. I’ve never been treated this way in any restaurant, and I won’t be returning. Respect, cleanliness, and a bit of human understanding go a long way—qualities that were missing here.
