The cutest little neighborhood espresso shop… love this place. Feels so neighborhood-y. My cappuccino was 10/10. They sell nice pottery from a local artist. Also, they have blankets to wrap yourself with in the winter when you sit outside. It’s lovely.

This place was cool, everything inside was reclaimed and the business model is eco friendly. The coffee was really good, and you can fill your own cup or mug. Tragically no dogs when I was there

The staff here are easily the friendliest in Brooklyn. I love how energetic they are in encouraging reusable plate ware and mugs and their to-go products can all be composted! Only show up here with good Vibes!

Wonderful place with a wonderful mission! It's an incredible community space with amazing values. Once a month they do a program where the only do re-usable cups that day! But if you don't have one they let you borrow a cup for free! Very friendly and casual vibe with delicious coffee!

The craziest Mocha or “Dirty Hot Chocolate Latte » I’ve ever had! This is the most welcoming reimagined garage in the neighborhood! The coffees and snacks are carefully prepared by Jenny, who leads a committed initiative for responsible consumption. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly. A must-stop for a gourmet break if you’re in the area!

Great little spot! I was visiting for the weekend and staying at the EVEN hotel a few blocks away. I love that this spot has incentivized reusable mugs and even has the option to borrow a real mug and bring it back later ☕️! Super cool 😎! 👌

IXV is our go to neighborhood cafe, it’s the perfect place for a sunny Saturday morning just hanging outside the garage. The drinks are great— the latte and cortados are smooth and velvety, with bold but balanced flavors. The oatmeal had a marinated pear, berries, all bringing a subtle unique sweetness. Jenny cares a lot about sustainability so there’s lots of initiatives to use reusable cups — join the neighbors by bring your own cup and save $.040/drink!

My absolute favorite cafe in Brooklyn and happy place. The coffee is great, food is amazing with top notch ingredients, and love how everything is sustainable and the staff is so friendly. My favorites are the Canadian Latte (as a Canadian, of course!) and any of the toasts with the magnificent jam or cheese toasties.

Amazing lattes and pastries and toasts (like the 🍅 toast pictured here), but even better values (be it from an environmental/sustainable lens or a humanitarian perspective), I’m proud to frequent this place. Also love the airy vibe and the outdoor seating and the beautiful mugs and glassware. It’s a real treat to come here!

Excellent oat milk cappuccino here. Friendly folks and appreciate the ways this shop works to cut back on single use cups and packaging. They also have some cool sustainable crafts and clothing for sale.

Easily a favorite. While on my lunch stroll I ran into This quirky and sustainable coffee shop and had prob one of the best cortados of my life. I’m not kidding! I didn’t get the baristas name but I sure hope to come back and get the same thing again. The ambience is very centered on up cycling and sustainable practices. There are signsthat encourage you to bring your own cup and several tumblers and thermos to buy near the register. There’s also a selection of repurposed clothing and quirky dog drawing throughout that give this place a cohesive flair. Will definitely be back

A cozy little coffee shop with great coffee and a welcoming ambiance! It has an amazing initiative to be less trashy, so composting and reusability is key with the packaging of each product. It's truly a hidden gem and a favorite place to sip coffee!

The espresso is very smooth and delicious. The 2 dollar up charge for Almond milk is a little much. But over all, worth it.

Really nice place! The eco friendly vibe is very strong here. -community mugs so you don’t have to use paper cups -stack of cloth hand towels in the bathroom -cute chairs -nice open garage feel -treats look decent but haven’t tried. I see pastries and overnight oats -pet friendly and they sell dog treat bags.

Small cafe out of a garage in Brooklyn. Their drip was the counter culture forty-six blend. It was slightly smoky and had notes of light chocolate — delicious cup. The coffeeshop also has some outdoor seating.

Great service . Good coffee. Got oat milk latte with maple syrup . I also got the PMS cookie Purple Potato Chip And Maple Marshmellow And Sourdough Buckwheat which was dry snd way more expensive than a cookie should cost ($7.5!!!)

Drip coffee’s just above average. Nice seating area outside with planters. You have to pay 40 cents extra for a to go cup. If you get a large coffee to stay in the shop, it’s maybe 60% the size of the actual large to go — bring your own mug if you want the proper amount of coffee for your money.

Not sure if this place is only friendly to regulars or certain demographic, but my experience was not so friendly with the younger female staff. They were chatting constantly with I guess “regulars” and kinda ignored me at first. Definitely an unpopular opinion based on all the other positive reviews here, but unfortunately not my experience.

This place has terrible coffee and somehow even worse service. The barista was rude and spilled my entire coffee order on my white dress. The owner refused to get it dry cleaned after, basically telling my partner I’m out of luck and to go home and hand wash it. Surprise, that was not enough to get out the 12oz of coffee on my dress.

$14.50 for a toastie that was supposed to include pickles, poblano peppers, and greens. There were no peppers and only 3 slices of pickle. Not to mention this sandwich used to come with bacon and now it doesn’t, but the price is still the same. Super disappointing.

I was refused service. Once a month they will only serve you only if you bring your own container or used one of their donated mugs. I told the worker I didn't bring a mug and I did not want to use the ones they offered. I don't feel comfortable using a random mug. These mugs are not behind the counter, they are out in the open for anyone to touch. The worker just kept saying something like 'we are asking everyone to use reusable mugs today'. He didn't read the room and realize I didn't want to use and of those disgusting mugs. He didn't budge, just kept staring at me with a smirk. I guess he felt it was more important to refuse to comply. He was obviously not the owner because a business owner would understand that it's easier to sell me a coffee in a disposable cup because 1. you are losing a sale and 2. you are losing a repeat customer who works close by and 3. this customer told all her coworkers not to buy coffee at this place. But I guess its better to just keep repeating 'we are asking everyone to use reusable mugs today'.
