Metro Feast Brooklyn Reviews
We were very pleased with its catering for our corporate function of serving 30 people, with cold and hot dishes we selected from their extensive buffet spread. Alex was very helpful and food was delivered on time hot and fresh. Highly recommend!
The recipes here are the real thing. The dishes meet standard expectations. Employees here maintain steady cheerful demeanors. The decor strikes a rare balance between luxury and comfort. I'm ready to make another reservation!
I really enjoy this place once in a while when I feel like treating myself. I work in the area and like to switch it up from time to time. I order from here vegetable fried rice,lo mein, fried chicken, pork ribs, meatloaf, and a couple other things. Some people have mentioned that it’s expensive. It is paid for by the pound so you have a heavy plate it’ll easily go over $20. No worries cause I can afford it and the food is good. Want cheap eats head to McDonalds for a $5 plus tax meal that won’t fill you up most likely.
I just went in first time trying this place out . Have to say the food omg absolutely amazing fresh hot and delicious. Will definitely be going back again ..
I DEFINITELY recommend this place for a good meal of common fast food/American food. Its BEST to choose three entrees in your meal if you're getting a large serving. If you get four you're probably going to be over $20. But it is worth it😋 ALSO THE FOOD IS WEIGHED BY POUND
This is a pay by the pound buffet. Barbecued and fried Chicken macaroni and cheese broiled potatoes, some asian-inspired dishes. They have a refrigerator full of various drinks to choose from. And good hot coffee with one of those way cool Hi-Tech cream dispensers This is good maintenance food at a good price and with good quality. The staff is super nice and I had a wonderful time talking with fellow diners. This place is a standout amongst these kinds of places. I got a pound and a half of food for 13.00 You can't beat that
Very clean, nice staff, good and fresh food. Reasonable prices considering these unprecedented times. Ive eaten in and taken out for years and glad they remain open. I do miss the sushi bar but their hot menu (Salmon, fish, meatballs-which is one of my favorites, a varieties of starches, veggies) and a cold menu which includes fruits, a variety of salads including shrimps, avocado, pasta, and veggies, will fulfill any craving. 4, 5 train to Nevins and livingston street.
You get to choose a variety of foods (rice, potato, pasta, various meats, veggies, fruits, salades, soups) from the self-serve area and they weigh it for the final price. Feels like a nice healthy, homemade option for meals. What's not to like? Even has sliced mango, kiwis and blackberries, yogurt parfait, rice pudding, and squeezed bottled juice. Note that you get fresh food for lunch and leftovers for supper.
My go-to breakfast place when I need something before work. The food is always good and the staff is always friendly. My only drawback is that the drink selection in the coolers is very random. You never know what will be there from day to day and things frequently disappear for weeks if not longer.
This is a new spot. Went in and place is big. Noticed a variety of food. Some dishes didn't have names. Some didn't look appetizing or fresh. But i went ahead and served myself some mini cheese ravioli, some roast chicken breast, a pc. of fried fish, some plantains, and some Chinese fried rice. The plantains were a bit dry, the rice was greasy and didn't taste fully cooked. Everything else was good. My son, 8 y.o. who eats everything had mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, a spring roll, lo mein, no meat. All his food was yummy. This buffet has cold salads, fruit salads, breads. Very expensive. I spent $25 including 2 can of soda! (McDonalds was our 1st option) Plenty of table area to sit. They have a hot/cold sandwich section An Asian station for meals on the spot. Also a smoothie and juice bar. Large variety of cold drinks and snack section. Also ATM inside.I saw a sign for breakfast buffet. Will try out next time and post!
Where to begin. With the positive. You won't find a friendlier bunch of staff if you tried. Genuinely happy to serve and answer questions. I like going and ordering food here — I feel welcomed and as a result I spend more for their breakfast than I usually will. Now that is not to say you will break the bank here. The food is good for what you pay for. $5 for pancake breakfast special. Good luck eating lunch after that. $7.45 for their breakfast buffet. If you don't fill up on a pound of food 2 pounds should do still a good price. That comes with free juice of coffee by the way. The quality is not great. Adequate is the word that comes to mind. I have been there a number of times, and for breakfast buffet it's as good as it gets. I don't have time to talk about lunch. My take. Go for the friendly staff. For the food if you're realistic about your are getting.
I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was not fresh at all and throw it in the garbage, don’t recommend!!!
The hotel we were staying at referred us to this establishment. They burnt the toast for our BLT and then made the bread soggy! The onion rings were also extremely soggy. We ordered a bagel with cream cheese which was like a crappy commercial bagel with a tiny bit of cream cheese on it. It wasn't the quality we expected. The only reason for 2 stars is because our toddler liked the french toast and the coffee was alright. They also delivered faster than they estimated.
Food is trash it was cold and nasty the chicken was hard the rice was hard the prices are overrated the salad was oily and greasy and tasteless don’t waste your money here
I had food poisoning had to go to brookyn hospital when ask for refund owner wouldn't show face i was told to dispute it with my bank... donot eat there I repeat dont eat there
Very disappointed to find that a cheesecake I bought was falsely advertised as fresh. A sticker layered over the original, claiming to have been packed on 09/09/21 was actually packed on 09/01/21. Would not recommend, and luckily avoided any sort of health problems by noticing double layered sticker on product.
Make sure you check what is put in your sandwiches... I ordered a BL with avocado and the avocado was brown/black. I don't think the person who made would had ate it himself. I usually buy from the buffet and enjoy my food. I was disappointed... It is snowing, the only reason why I did not take it back.
