Baya Bar Brooklyn Reviews
Wow I try many spots service açai bowl this spots take the top easily😋😋
I had an incredible 5-star experience at Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop! The food was a definite highlight, earning a high 4-star rating for quality. Both the service and the atmosphere were also solid, each earning a 3-star rating. This is a fantastic local spot for anyone looking for a top-tier treat!
Spectacular store. I don’t normally eat acai bowls, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing costumer service provided at this store. The boy at the counter helped me pick the right option and the girl had my order ready before I even sat down. Nice and quick service would definitely come again.
Baya Bar is absolutely amazing! This locations acai bowls and smoothies are always super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients everything feels healthy but still so satisfying. The staff is always friendly, patient, and quick even when it’s busy. Definitely my go to spot for something refreshing and delicious!
I had matcha smoothie and it was delicious. I love going to Baya Bar every time I am in Bay Ridge. They have the best vanilla protein shake!!! The ingredients are fresh and it was refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff is friendly and overall, excellent service! I highly recommend it.
Let’s talk about the bowl: an edible masterpiece. Every bite was a symphony of flavors and textures; ripe fruit so fresh it tasted like it had been picked moments ago, a base so creamy and balanced it felt like silk on the tongue, and toppings layered with intention, crunch, and care. It wasn’t just food, it was bliss in a bowl. Fulfilling in every sense, from nourishment to taste to soul-satisfying comfort. I didn’t eat it, I experienced it. And the service? Over-the-top in the best way possible. Warm, attentive, and genuinely excited to make the moment special. It felt less like customer service and more like being taken care of by someone who truly loves what they do. From personalized recommendations to a smile that never faded, they made sure I felt like the only person in the world who mattered.bExquisite. That’s the only word that comes close. If you’re looking for something that fills you up physically and emotionally, Baya Bar isn’t just a stop—it’s a destination.
I recently discovered Baya Bar in Bay Ridge and liked it so much I returned the next day. I first tried the coconut smoothie (coconut, banana, coconut milk, organic coconut water), which cost $9.34 with tax. The next day I tried the Pacific Beach bowl (acai, strawberry, blueberry, granola, coconut shavings, honey), which cost just over $10 for the small bowl. It was delicious! I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about the smoothie bowl being overpriced or too many toppings, but I actually found the toppings to be very generous and not overwhelming for the amount of acai. The prices might seem expensive, but I think they’re actually very reasonable given how much food costs at the grocery store these days. The prices reflect the current state of the economy and inflation. It’s nice to have a healthy food option in Bay Ridge and I look forward to drinking smoothies all summer long.
Ordered 2 smoothies. The berry berry acai and the kale smoothie. Both were very good and tasty. This was my first time here and I will be returning. Place was very clean and smelled amazing ! The staff was very nice and helpful ! The menu has so many options ! I will definitely be returning !
A beautifully decorated chalkboard wall with a great selection of drinks and bowls, welcome you through the glass doors. The overall vibe of the space is inviting and fresh. This place is going to be hot spot in the summer time. The owner is very engaged with his store and customers. The sitting space is small but comfortable. I've had many Açai bowls from Hawaii to California and New York. This is definitely the best I've had in NYC. Good quality stuff. I'm glad it's here in my neighborhood of Bay Ridge.
I love this place! I just wish it would open earlier so I can have my protein shake “on the go” to work 😞 I can only make it on the weekends
Avid customer to Baya Bar. CONS - pricey for the size of the bowls, & they put too much toppings for the amount of purée fruit. It’s too dry because of the excessive granola, & coconut shavings. If they give more purée then it would taste better. PROS - a healthy meal. It’s very filling. My top recommendations are pacific beach bowl (Açaí), & Biya Pitaya which is the pink dragon fruit. The coconut options are good as well. I dislike the Kale. Too many ice chips mixed into the purée. Overall a good place, very clean, owners are very sweet and welcoming. Love the business !!
This location sucks. Poor service Spent $15 for one acai bowl and there’s barely any Nutella. Never coming to this location.
1st time ordering, place looks awesome from the outside. The presentation of the immune boosting juice is absolutely disgusting. This is a container for a dipping sauce, not a juice, $4.50 for something that looks like it’s going to get me sick just by touching it. This is really what you serve people!? I also paid $1.00 extra on my acai bowl for what appears to look like one strawberry. One of the five pieces of strawberry was brown and mushy. Also paid another $1.00 for 6 pieces of banana. I live 5 minutes away and the bowl was melted when I got it. This tiny bowl was almost $14. I’ve worked plenty of food service jobs including making acai bowls and I can’t imagine serving this to a customer. Not sure if your staff are just high school kids, but either way, please teach your employees better. Unfortunately the bowl wasn’t very good and I won’t be ordering again.
