Brix Haus Brooklyn Reviews
Such a gem of a place in the neighborhood! Very unique flavors and you can tell ice cream is made in house because the taste is incredible!!! Brix trax is our go to flavor and their recent new cheesecake fig flavor is just so so good!
Super cute local ice cream shop , lots of original flavors , wish there were more of basic selection too ( vanilla, chocolate , strawberry) . Very thoughtful Service they even sell Lactaid at the counter for the of us who don’t do dairy.
So happy that this wonderful ice cream shop has opened in our neighborhood. They also have new flavours to try and I love that there are a lot of seasonal, fruity and unique flavours! The staff are always very welcoming and are great at giving recommendations. My challenge now is not to visit too often!
Nice to have a good ice cream spot in the neighborhood 👋🤌👍.
Was looking for something sweet walking distance from my nail salon & I found it here. The chocolate caramel was delish and the bourbon one had some great chewy bites. Loved, loved the ambiance! There was 1 bench for seating so this is definitely a grab & go kind of spot.
My partner and I recently visited Brix House with little expectation beyond some yummy ice cream, and were VERY pleasantly surprised at the selection of unique flavor combinations. The perfect amount of sweetness with dreamy textures… YUM! The owner, Tara, is a pastry chef, so it’s no surprise that the ice cream is next level; she knows what she’s doing! We will absolutely be back again… and this time, will plan to take a spare pint home! Highly recommend!!
The owner and her staff are so welcoming and patient. They want you to be pleased, sample until you find what you like. My kids, friends and I, have not been disappointed. Trying not to be addicted to the caramel apple ice cream.
I found this gem today after switching up my normal walking route. Absolutely thankful that I did. The Carrot Cake ice cream was a pleasant treat on this beautiful day and the customer service was exceptional.
Fantastic handmade confections created by people who clearly care about making great ice cream and a great space.
Cute little ice-cream shop tucked away in our neighborhood. They have a lot of flavors and merch. The chocolate coated cone is 👌🏼… the fluffernutter flavor is amazing and that is coming from a person who is the biggest PB fan. It’s great for a quick stop on a sunny day or a detour during a dogwalk!
Small batch homemade ice cream with some extraordinary concoctions. I love unusual flavors & wasn’t disappointed. There’s a lot of merch in the little store which almost takes away from the star of the house - the ice cream 😍.
Great ice cream store that has a lot of unique flavors! The owner is very helpful and kind, and they sell cookies and other treats as well
My boys love coming here. All the flavors are so delicious. Special shout out to brix trak!!! Also a beautiful shop in the area.

We are grateful to have this spot in our neighborhood. It is a nice cozy place with friendly workers and great ice cream. I only wish they also soft serve.
Everything about this place is awesome. This little ice cream coffee shop provides all the things for a nice quaint environment. The music is sublime and relaxing. Their homemade ice cream is amazing and super delicious and service is just as amazing. Also, interesting fact, they close really late like 9pm so definitely a place where you unwind after a long workday. Much success to his place
Absolutely delicious ice cream. I got whatever the fall pumpkin flavor was, I think it was called fall harvest, and the regular chocolate. Both were absolutely amazing. Definitely worth trying out
Once I saw the Strawberry Shortcake flavor on Instagram I knew it was a must try, and it did not disappoint. I got two scoops, one of the Just Chocolate and one of the Strawberry Shortcake, and it was amazing. Definitely the best ice cream I've had in NYC.
I love all kinds of spicy food and today I discovered that ice cream is no exception. When I heard that the hot honey flavor was extra spicy today, I immediately jumped on it, no sample needed. I was not disappointed at all, and it was refreshing after spending hours at the Botanic Garden. I also got a scoop of the popcorn flavor--also good but overpowered by the scoop of hot honey.
It is a small little ice cream shop with a really impressive selection of original flavors. I had the popcorn (yes popcorn) flavor, and it was fantastic. The prices are pretty appropriate, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

During our recent trip to amazing prospect park we decided to get ice cream. This place is conveniently located on routine between the park and our Brooklyn home. So of course we had to stop in a try their ice cream. I love traveling and trying new places and I always try to be honestly in my reviews. So here we go… The ice cream shop, aesthetically, is a really cool spot. It’s small but does an ice cream shop really need a lot of space? We loved the decor behind the register, especially the neon sign. It is definitely the focal point for the place. It’s just lovely. Everything in the shop just works together to create a cool atmosphere. Unfortunately when we walked in the shop there were a few flies hanging out, being flies flying around and unfortunately one was in the ice cream display. I don’t know if the fly was in there prior to us ordering our ice cream or if it were in there while the ice cream display door was open. Nonetheless the flyer was pretty big but we ordered the ice cream anyway. I told myself that the fly flew in there because the door was open fora while because I took so long to pick a favor. I ordered one scoop of the Brixtrack and he ordered the vanilla bean and a chocolate favor. The ice cream was creamy. Very creamy it was perfect as far as ice cream texture goes but the flavor just ok. It was ok. There was nothing wrong with the ice cream. The taste was ok. But that is where it ends. They do have great looking waffle cones but we did not try any. This is one that you definitely have to try yourself.
