Hibiscus Brew Brooklyn Reviews
I ordered the fall/winter Hibiscus Sorrel drink and it was delicious! Similar to a non-alcoholic mulled wine - hot and bursting with spices. Had to restrain from ordering another! One note is I tried to go around 9am on a Sunday morning and they were not open, even though Google said they opened at 8:30a. Overall, fun place with delicious drinks!
Hibiscus Brew Café is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, vibrant colors, and the sweet aroma of fresh hibiscus tea. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or getting some work done. Their signature hibiscus drinks are absolutely amazing refreshing, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I also loved their coffee and smoothie options, which taste just as good as they look. Everything feels natural, healthy, and made with care. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to recommend something new to try. You can really feel the love and culture behind every sip and every bite. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Hibiscus Brew Café is a must-stop spot for good vibes and great flavors! 🌸✨
My wife and I, while visiting from Boston, came across this colorful and inviting storefront and had to check it out! As someone who has had more cappuccinos than I can count, I can honestly say this was the best I've ever had. My only regret is that I drank it too fast! My wife ordered the mulled sorrel (hibiscus), and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced! So much so that she had to pry it out of my hands and say, "You already had yours!" We hope this incredible cafe finds its way to Boston someday. Thank you all for the wonderful experience!
Such a gem! Their espresso is delicious and the hibiscus soft serve is a uniquely refreshing and delectable treat. Everything is fresh and natural (made from scratch, not syrup or junk). Cute, cozy atmosphere with warm, friendly owner and staff.
Honestly I love this place! Such a cute cafe in PLG/Flatbush. The baristas are so kind, patient and sweet. They really take time with your order. Their lattes are brewed to perfection. The Hibiscus tea is a must try!
Beautiful little PLG gem. This storefront is gorgeous inside and out. There’s floral decor throughout the store. And it smells just like it looks inside. I felt like I was right in the middle of a garden. Peaceful and charming. Angel was so kind and welcoming. And last but not last the Blue Magic is fireee 🔥 So good 😊 I’ll definitely be back.
Hibiscus Brew is such a gem! I love stopping by in the morning for my favorites — a hot dirty chai and an ice-cold blue magic. Both drinks are consistently delicious, which keeps me coming back.Beyond the amazing drinks, they have a great selection of healthy options — overnight oats, fresh fruit cups, cold-pressed juices, and of course, the hibiscus sorrel mocktail, all of which are must-tries. The space is cozy, the vibe is peaceful, and it’s the perfect place to start the day. Also, I would like to thank Angel the barista who always remembers my order — it’s the little things that make this place feel so special!
I host a community club called Tallawah Collective, and we met here last weekend to have our spring goal-setting workshop. Hibiscus Brew is gorgeous on the inside and outside, the baristas are so kind, and their drinks are as innovative as they are delicious. Anddd it’s Jamaican + woman owned. We will definitely be back! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🌺🌺. Go check it out if you haven’t already!!
Decent coffee spot. I feel like it's more of a instagram place than an actual coffee place. The things there and coffee look nice and make for great pictures but the coffee was pretty average. The staff was also very okay, they just seemed like they didnt enjoy working there but maybe an off day. I would at least try them once though.
Really weird energy. At first: walked in, had a friendly welcome. I got a bottle of sparkling water and it wasn’t cold so I asked for a cup of ice and i was given hesitation and a small paper cup? If im buying a $9 warm bottle of water, i kinda expect to have a regular cup…with ice? my friend ordered a mocha latte and when she received it, it was almost as white as milk. Everybody knows that fear when you order coffee and it’s super light. Obviously would never tell someone how to do their job, because people are trying their best always… but when asked if she put mocha in it (trying to avoid saying it tasted bad) she said she broke up a stick of chocolate - that may taste good if made properly…. but everything was weird. super passive aggressive. my friend and i were in a great mood heading to the park, but that def shifted a few minutes
The location was cute, but unfortunately, the staff member Cynthia preparing the food and managing the front was quite rude and unhelpful. My interaction with her was disappointing, especially as I was there with my daughter. When we inquired about allergens, the representative responded dismissively, stating, "I don't know anything about allergies," with an angry and disrespectful tone. In my opinion, if someone is not fond of interacting with people, they should reconsider working in customer service. Small update! Cynthia told us she didn't know anything about allergens stating your bake products wasn't made in house. This was stated to my daughter and me. This didn't seems like any regards to allergies!!!! Again kindness goes a very long way. It was rude because my teen daughter has serious allergies and such a horrible moment to start her day. It was a basic allergen question.
