Broken Land Brooklyn Reviews
Super nice bartenders, cute vibe, DJs on some nights. The type of place where everyone is in the moment and not on their phones! Great spot all around L
Absolutely LOVE Tate. Best bartender ever. Been coming here for yrs, met up with a some friends (one of whom had engagement party @ broken land) and we had a blast. Bartender (Tate) made us feel super comfortable and very well taken care of. Rarely leave reviews but he has made me a regular
The best thing about the bar is the amazing bartender Tate! He is so welcoming and nice. Would totally come back!
Tate the bartender such a sweet and nice guy and the drinks incredible
Love this place! Booked some space in their covered garden for my birthday party and Tim was super helpful in coordinating. It was raining that evening so the team on site had reserved both outdoor and indoor tables in case we wanted to be inside but luckily the weather let up. The back garden was perfect and the bartenders were great!
Overall rating: 4.8 Super chill bar, my kinda place. I LOVE THE PINA COLADA. The bartender is nice and leaves you alone. I’ve been here a few times whenever I’m in the area. Very affordable happy hour, but I like it without as well. I come here whenever I’m in the area. Also the seats are sooo comfy! I love coming here solo. Highly recommend!
I had a fantastic evening at this bar! The ambiance was lively and energetic, with a great selection of drinks to choose from. The bartenders were not only skilled mixologists but also engaging and attentive. The menu offered a diverse range of cocktails to suit every palate. I had a wonderful time socializing and enjoying the atmosphere. This bar is definitely a gem in the city's nightlife scene.
This place is awesome! Stumbled upon it a few weeks back and now might be my favorite bar in the city. Good vibes, always friendly bartenders, and they found my bag I left on Halloween Friday which I picked up Monday. Great cocktails and overall good vibes. 🙏🏽
This spot is one of our absolute favorite Saturday afternoon bars. Head there early on to grab a seat at the bar and toss back on of their fabulous cocktails or a cheap beer shot combo. Also, they have one of the absolute best frozen piña coladas on the planet (pro tip: get the dark rum float). You also might just catch a dog in their back yard.
Espresso Martini here was great and the bartender was nice! Their back patio is a great space for a chill drink.
This Fiddlehead IPA, which they forgot to advertise as one of the hazy variety, was pleasant but rather dry for a juicy beer 🍺. This bar is a nice place to have a relaxing drink in the afternoon. The campaign of Brad Lander for Mayor 2025 hosted a small social event here, but I honestly had nothing to add to the conversation. Don't Rank Evil Andrew!
Liked this space. I didn't try any food, therefore I could not rate it. I liked the decor. They have a couch that reminds me of hanging out in someone's basement, back in the day. They have a great happy hour, from open until 7p.m. The prices are very good. The bartender was nice. They also have a cute backyard. I was there early so there weren't many people, which I have no problem with. I will probably be back, someday.
I read that other people had the same issue as me but damn, the bartender was not friendly at all. I get it, I've worked in that exact position before and the days can be long and draining but at least be pleasant. His attitude alone made me never want to go back. I didn't try any food. I came to chat business over drinks with some ladies and yeah, not impressed.
This was my first time visiting the bar. I saw they have a backyard space so I came with my small (& friendly) dog - we commuted via 2 trains on a hot day for the lobster popup and we were not permitted to sit in their backyard space. (Even though there is a review here with a photo of a woman with her dog, which I mentioned) We were actually chased down as soon as we entered. I wanted to buy a drink but I wasn't going to be able to settle in to enjoy & also don't want to provide business to a place with such poor hospitality. Very unfortunate experience.
I recently visited this bar and while the atmosphere and overall setup of the place were fantastic, I was really disappointed by the service. Unfortunately, the two bartenders working during the day on Saturday were incredibly rude and condescending. Despite the bar being relatively quiet, they seemed completely uninterested in serving customers and were dismissive when approached. Their attitude really took away from what could have been a great experience. It’s a shame because the bar itself has a lot of potential, but the staff’s lack of professionalism was a huge letdown.
