Choice Market Brooklyn Reviews
Very solid cafe. Great coffee and excellent pastries/sandwiches. Things to absolutely eat: Guava and Cheese croissant. Roast beef sandwich. The breakfast Grits. Biggest downside - it's a bit pricey but the quality of the food is high and they are open fairly late so absolutely check them out.
Amazing sandwiches and takeout and they have never once messed up an order. Also check out their prepared food section-the steak and veggie sides are amazing for a quick dinner !
Just moved to the neighborhood - stopped by Choice to check it out last week or so and have been back several times since. Excellent salmon sandwich, great salmon burger, boyfriend reports that the beef burger is good too. Fries are alright - a little overdone. Prices are good for the area. The cashier is super friendly and seems to know everyone!! Love when a place has that neighborhood-y vibe. Will keep coming back!!
This place has a vast menu, which changes depending on the menu's source. Once you find something you love, you'll be back for more! Good sandwiches. The chocolate chip walnut cookie is my favorite cookie, and is usually pretty good. Today I got the chocolate + chocolate cookie, and found it stale or at least unappetizing/inedible to me. But overall definitely love and appreciate this place, which continues to be one of the best spots in the neighborhood. Also don't look over their egg sandwiches, which I think are available all day. Finally, I've had only positive interactions with staff, who I find to be helpful, understanding, and efficient! UPDATE: I mentioned yesterday’s stale cookie today when I ordered/picked up an egg sandwich, and it was much better!
This place is cute & has a lot of options when it comes to their menu. I tried their Turkey burger 🍔 with sweet potato Fries...Omgeee It was the Best Turkey I have ever had!! It was fresh, juicy & flavorful 😋...it was huge too lol (many toppings). They give you a lot of fries with a dip on the side. They don't have many seats inside , which was fine bcuz they have tables/seats outside. I want to go back just to try other food on their menu😉
I had the pleasure of trying the chicken panini at Choice Market and it was absolutely delicious! The fresh vegetables and soft ciabatta bread perfectly complemented the flavorful chicken. The sandwich was also quite generous in size, making it a hearty and satisfying meal. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Choice Market and would highly recommend their chicken panini to anyone looking for a delicious, high-quality sandwich. The friendly service only added to the excellent experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more!
I have been having food from here delivered throughout the pandemic. I'm constantly amazed at the quality of the provisions and care in the preparation. Delivery is always prompt. I see patients in South Williamsburg and order from here at least once a week. I only wish they could deliver to my apartment in Manhattan :-). I tried the beef burger for the first time today and it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Thank you Choice Market!
This nice and cozy place in clinton hill is a perfect spot for brunch. Highly recommended breakfast burrito for vegetarians. Their coffee is insanely good. I'm here almost every week :)
Choice Market is a cozy eatery on Lafayette and Grand Ave in Brooklyn. I had the turkey burger with fries. Also, I had a chocolate peanut butter cookie. The burger was epic with a layer of sliced cucumber or pickles, avocado, lettuce, onion, tomato and mayo. The burger was seasoned well and not dry. I added the accompanying chipotle sauce and it added another level of taste! The fries were good. I do prefer them well done but these were good just the same. I had the garlic fries on the first visit. Yum! The cookie was rich and crumbly- the way I like them. Choice Market has other items on their menu which I am sure are just as delish and savory as the turkey burger. So.... go ahead and order a bunch of tasty grub from Choice Market. You will be pleasantly satisfied.
Choice Market has a menu similar to Panera Bread, but the food is infinitely better. They have a great range of options from very traditional breakfast like a B.E.C.; to more inventive options like the grits bowl with salsa verde and tomato jam (delicious!). Additionally, they’re extremely fast with to-go orders. I usually order online and the my food is ready by the time I arrive. 5 out of 5!
The new restaurant seating area is really fantastic. I've been coming here forever and they keep improving. Their shrimp and grits rivals places in NOLA. Seriously... And their service is friendly and professional. A little slow but the vibe is so nice and pretty it's not a big deal.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy delicious food and great service, look no further than Choice Market Bar and Restaurant. This place has it all: mouthwatering pancakes that are fluffy and golden, juicy burgers that are cooked to perfection, and generous portions that will leave you satisfied. The food quality is superb, using fresh ingredients and homemade sauces. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. Choice Market Bar and Restaurant is the best choice for any occasion!
The Brioche French toast was soft, fluffy, and tasty. The texture was just right. Next time I'll try it with a side of eggs instead of the sausage. Would have liked the sausage if they hadn't split it open.
So happy I finally tried the cafe! Been a long time lover of the to go next door, so decided to give the cafe a try. Cute small space perfect for brunch or lunch. Ordered the shrimp with grits and it was so delicious! The people behind choice are amazing and always employ people from LGBTQIA+ community. Choice is a neighborhood staple.
This Choice location has been a must make a stop when close by. They offer a few different choices to choose from but for me it's all about their sandwiches. Their panini sandwich and their turkey burgers have been a pick up stop for me. Now let me add their sweet desserts as well. You belly and your taste buds will be happy you stop here. Been coming here for about 10+ years now.
Delicious! First there's a market section which serves you coffee and quick bites, I had coffee there and it was great! However, this review is about the lovely quaint restaurant behind the market. If you're looking for a good brunch/breakfast this is a must try. The servers are super friendly and the food came out pretty quick. Service was great. I got the steak and it was good. We also had pancakes for the table, very fluffy. Overall very enjoyable and yummy meal. Awesome local spot , I definitely go back!
Had the chicken salad sandwich and it was phenomenal! Cant wait to try the others
The food takes a little while to come but when you eat it you can see why. They put so much care into everything, with friendly service too.
Came through for a coffee and some lunch. Had a pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Great food, fantastic vibe and friendly staff. We’ll be back.
Friendly service and my order was ready right at the projected time. I had the Kale and Mushrooms, which was delicious, and the Roasted Tomato Sandwich. The bread was very good and the cheese had a good texture. I would prefer a bit more char on my tomatoes and would dress the sandwich with less balsamic, but it was my first visit and now I know how to order. The staff was so nice that it seems like all I'd need to do is say what I prefer.
I used Choice Market to cater my birthday dinner and they were AMAZING. The food was a big hit. It was fresh, high-vibration and delicious. Really high quality. Andrew was also so accommodating and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!
Great food, nice atmosphere, but the Service is Excellent, from Princess and Larry. They deserve a raise. I had the branzino sandwich with Fries, and my friend had the lamb burger, just plain goodie, good, good!!!!
Been here many times for a quick lunch, love the roasted tomato sandwich and all of the pastries are delicious. The staff is very nice and accommidating. Mistakenly ordered something with meat in it, and the staff very kindly remade it for me without so that I could eat it. Great spot :)
Lunch and dinner staple for us! We love the impossible burger and fries. Their salads are nice and hearty. I recently tried the prosciutto sandwich and I think I’m in love with a sandwich. Perfect blend of prosciutto, arugula, and mozzarella seasoned with pesto and arugula. Can’t wait to try their chicken salad sandwich and the chicken panini. Great portion sizes and price. The staff is always incredibly friendly when we pop in.
Came in twice! I'm visiting Brooklyn from Houston for the weekend. Spot is right by my friend's place. Super good! After my friend recommended, I had the chicken panini with goat cheese instead of Swiss. Took a bit to get it, but totally worth the wait. So tasty! Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Prices reasonable. I'd say for sure worth a try, even if just taking it to go! Would definitely recommend!
If you haven’t been to “Choice Market” in Brooklyn, you’re missing out on a true breakfast and brunch paradise that’s been delighting locals since 2005. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience where each dish tells a story of culinary excellence. From their heavenly pancakes to savory omelets, every bite is a testament to their dedication to quality. Make your next meal memorable at Choice Market – where good food and great times are always on the menu!
We have been coming to Choice Market for years now and it is easily one of our favorite spots in Brooklyn! The food quality is consistently excellent, the prices are fair, and the portions are very generous. You can tell they really care about what they serve. Our go to items are the chicken panini and the lamb burger, both absolutely delicious every single time. And do not even get me started on the desserts, the lemon poppy cake and marble cake are simply amazing. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help, which makes the whole experience even better. Choice Market never disappoints, truly a neighborhood gem that keeps us coming back again and again. We ended up doing our baby shower there and it was lovely!! Thanks to all the staff!!
I have probably eaten at Choice Market upwards of forty times (between dine-in and takeout) so I can say with great confidence that it is truly excellent. There’s something for everyone on the menu, but some of the standouts for my partner and I are the two egg breakfast sandwich (best enjoyed with cheddar and mushrooms add-ons and especially after a night out ;)), the chicken salad sandwich, the fried fish sandwich and the salmon burger, but everything I’ve tried has been delish. The dine in service is slow but kind and attentive, and takeout is always ready almost comically fast. Don’t get me started on the fries here (among the best I’ve ever had). I have big ambitions of one day trying the onion rings but I cannot fathom not ordering the fries when I go. Maybe someday. Thank you Choice Market I love you <3
I love Choice Market not just because they have one of the best salads ever (seriously!) but because the ambiance, the service, and owner are so incredibly AMAZING that I am blown away each time I visit. Everyone who works there is so kind and wonderful at their job and it all makes sense once you meet the owner, Jack. This community gem is not to be taken for granted. I will support Choice Market always!
This is the exact pulse of Brooklyn: tactical grunge. Exposed brick, bikes on the wall (from Boardwalk Empire), diverse peoples speaking five languages, heavy bass on the speakers, incredible food (butcher breakfast was insanely inexpensive for the quality and size), and super friendly staff. Thank you, Larry, Rafaelle, and Princess!
Love Choice! There are tons of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They’re fast at making orders in person and delivery. My favorite breakfast item is the cinnamon roll that isn’t a roll but great. For lunch I love a beef burger with fries. For dinner the steak platter with green beans and artichoke is delightful. They’re friendly when you call in and I haven’t had a bad meal from here ever.
Sandwiches curated and made to perfection here! Love to see that they always have consistent quality over the years and have a very relaxed comforting atmosphere that invites all age groups. My dog loves the dog treats they make here as well!
Choice Market – Brooklyn’s Hidden Gem That Deserves a Crown If there’s one breakfast spot that truly understands food, it’s Choice Market in Brooklyn. And when I say understands, I mean they master it. I’ve been coming here for years—took a break for about three years, came back, and it was like I never left. Same insane quality. Same incredible flavors. Same attention to detail. That’s the mark of a place that doesn’t cut corners. Let’s get into it. The Food: This Ain’t Just Breakfast – It’s an Experience If you love fresh, high-quality, made-with-care food, this is your place. They don’t just slap things on a grill and call it a day. They craft their meals. Everything is done with skill, precision, and real passion. • The Eggs? Organic, cooked to absolute perfection, and never that overcooked, rubbery nonsense you get at most places. • The Cheese? Melts like a dream into your breakfast, adding that perfect, creamy bite. • The Pancakes? Fluffy, golden, exactly how pancakes should be. • The French Toast? Legendary. I haven’t had it in a while, but trust me—I know it’s next level. • The Fruit? Always fresh, never sad or mushy. Every plate feels like it was made for a king. But listen, we need to talk about something important: The Bread. Oh. My. God. The Bread. This isn’t just bread—this is art. This is craftsmanship. It’s fresh, baked to absolute perfection, with that crisp outer layer and soft, warm, airy inside that makes every bite feel like a warm hug. And it makes sense—the owner? French. A food genius. I think he even owns a donut shop a few blocks away and another one in Midtown. This man knows flavor, knows quality, and knows exactly what he’s doing. The Setup: High-End Execution, Every Single Time One of the things that sets this place apart is how they cook. They’re not just using some basic diner griddle—they’ve got high-end stoves, top-quality pans, and the kind of kitchen setup that real chefs respect. Every meal is crafted, not rushed. The People: A Team That Cares The manager? Amazing. Been there for years, always on top of things, always making sure customers are happy. The staff? Friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Service is on point—you feel like you’re at home, but with restaurant-quality execution. Consistency: 100+ Visits, 0 Misses I’ve been here over 100 times, and they’ve never missed. That’s crazy. I don’t know another place that delivers at that level every single time. Final Verdict: If You Know, You Know. If you haven’t eaten here yet, fix that immediately. And if they ever open in Bergen County, it’s OVER. They’ll take over the breakfast game. This is a five-star spot, no debate.
wow the best banana bread i’ve had in this century
Choice is true neighborhood gem! The take-out cafe is great (try the roast beef sandwich with beets, horseradish and a vidalia onion ring!), but the sit-down restaurant is even better. Beautiful space, incredibly nice servers, and amazing food. The owner sources all of the ingredients from specialized vendors and the quality really shines through. So many great things on the menu, but the croque vegetable and weekend waffles with strawberry butter are our favorites. Ideal for families with kids since there is rarely a wait on a weekend morning.
We came for the atmosphere, and stayed for the food! There restaurant was chosen as location for a union commercial, but after the first crew member had a snack, most everyone else at least tasted, if not opted entirely to have lunch here by the end of the shoot.
Solid cafe spot in Clinton Hill! The best pastries, lattes, service, music, and atmosphere!! I feel so lucky to live near here! If you’re looking for a new spot in the area- COME HERE!
Hidden gem for breakfast / brunch spot! We went to the restaurant and next door you can grab food to go such as bagels, sandwiches, coffee / tea etc. A lot of great brunch selections, affordable price and massive portions of food! Everything was delicious and great customer service! I will definitely come back again :)
Fantastic food and amazing service. The turkey club and chicken salad were divine, and the service was so good. Rusalind was awesome and the front of house manager and cook were also great!
This is the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time!! Staff is so friendly and food is so good
It’s kinda iykyk, but Choice Market has a sit down restaurant that serves a delicious brunch. We went on a snowy Saturday afternoon and were immediately seated. We ordered a mocha, the chorizo breakfast burrito, a burger, and garlic fries (the fries are a must order). Portions were pretty big and we took some food to go. A great spot if you want to go to a chill, vibey place, with good food in the neighborhood.
i wish i could give this place more stars. truly a neighborhood GEM - every item of food I've tried is so yummy and unique from anywhere else. Vibes & service are amazing and people there genuinely seem to be having a good time.
My family held a private function at Choice on November 8 and the restaurant delivered in every way. We received exceptional service and attention from the owner Jack and team. The food was so good there were no leftovers 😋 I personally recommend the veggie burger and sweet potatoe fries. Choice has great vibes and energy, and everything is very well reasonably priced. Thanks again to the Choice team!!
WE HAD SUCH A GREAT MEAL HERE! 🥞 The pancakes and waffles were incredibly soft and flavorful. 🌯 The Britto was a fun surprise: a fusion of Mexican and French elements with a sauce that really worked. 🍔 The lamb burger was outstanding, easily one of the best we’ve ever had. 🥪 The chicken panini was juicy and delicious. We ate it so fast I didn’t even get a chance to take a photo. 🍹 Both the mango smoothie and the matcha banana smoothie were creative, refreshing, and on the healthier side. Highly recommend all of them. Definitely will come back again!
I can't say enough good things about Choice. I have been going there for over a decade and it always holds up - great food, ambiance, etc. I just held a class reunion at the Bar and Restaurant on Grand Street and it was perfection - Jack and his crew couldn't have been better. The food was great and they eliminated any possibility of stress for the planning. Highly recommend!!!!!
EDIT: Changing to 5 stars because I really appreciate the response to my original review and I'll be back to support this friendly neighborhood spot ❤️❤️❤️ ORIGINAL: I live nearby and have been supporting this business for years ~ the staff is super sweet but the past 3 times I've gotten their chicken salad sandwich, I've found large sharp bones in it and almost choked. I really want to continue to be a regular here but now I'm always scared when I buy that sandwich :( Please change the way you make your chicken salad!
Favourite Cafe in the neighbourhood, I love the grilled chicken panini but every item on the menu is delicious! Good quality and great vibes. We recently had our Baby Shower there and had the best time - thanks choice market Team!
Update: Finally stepped in on my own and enjoyed a delicious hot beverage. Customer service on point, quality on point, varieties on point, tone on point and atmosphere on point. I will be returning for something else. A total recommendation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️stars! Coworker shared her lunch 🍴 with me today😋. Had the lamb 🐑 burger with salad 🥗. Super delicious and very tasty, food was super fresh and made with care.
The food is amazing with fresh ingredients and lots of their stuff is made right in house! And you can really taste and feel how fresh everything is. My favorite is the brioche French toast with sautéed apples. Best French toast I’ve ever had. But also the pancakes, and also the eggs, and also the omelette… just everything.
Stopped here before heading back to DTW after our Egypt trip. It was a rainy day, but we decided to catch the subway here anyway, and it was well worth it. I loved the breakfast burrito, and everyone I was with also liked their food. I would definitely come back if in the area and recommend you check it out if hungry and not too far. The service was also really good during our visit. Everything came out quickly and with no issues.
Choice Market is located on the corner of Lafayette St and Grand Ave with two entrances. Lafayette St entrance for their take-out grab a quick bite and Grand Ave entrance for dine-in with a cozy wooden ceiling and exposed brick wall. Cocktails are so refreshing it’s perfect to go with breakfast. Parisian basket has crispy croissant, fresh muffin, and a perfectly baked baguette. Turkey club is one of the best I’ve ever had. The avocado toast is so fresh and tangy it tasted just like straight from the farm. Their friendly staffs serve you with a big friendly smile making your morning a super happy one. Stop by Choice Market and enjoy their delicious and fresh menu items along with some amazing cocktails. This is a very cute brunch place in the neighborhood. We went there after a pottery class nearby. The owner was super funny and friendly. Interior design is beautiful, and the food was great! Garlic fries is one of a kind. The matcha tiramisu was really awesome and a must try after a savory brunch. The yuzu lemonade was refreshing on a hot summer day! I believe they are opening for dinner soon! Looking forward to the new dinner menu.
I came here on Saturday afternoon for brunch and I had such a wonderful and cozy experience here! The brunch vibe was great - with rustic interior design, a great playlist and delicious food. We ordered the pancakes with fresh fruits, the Butcher's breakfast and omelet with a side of potatoes and salad. The portion size here is very generous and everything we ate was cooked well! The staff was very friendly and attentive too. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood and I would come back again!
What a lovely atmosphere/ vibe! Excellent customer service - as soon as you enter, you are greeted by friendly staff with smiles! I ordered the pancakes, my friends ordered the choice burger & salmon burger - the portions were massive and it was very affordable, amazingly delicious!!! We devoured the food in minutes. Not sure what kind of sauce was served on the burgers but OMG, it was soo tasty!!! We ended with some desserts and again the perfect balance of crisp, sweetness & savory. Will definitely come back again!!
A bit pricey for my tastes BUT the food is very well made and all the dishes are very fresh. You can tell that the people cooking care about the produce that comes in and about the food that comes out of this cafe/market. They have a very convenient pick up window but be ready to wait up to 15min for your food if you haven't ordered online/ahead. I was not in a rush so I took a few minutes to enjoy the sunshine and their seating area.
I like the salmon burger and roasted salmon sandwich. Also, love their pastries
The food is delicious ! We stopped by for brunch this weekend. All was great except the service. It seems as if the wait staff had just woken up and arrived at work. I had to grab their attention by getting out of my seat to request an extra spoon ( they brought out 2 coffees and 1 spoon) & then they got my order mixed up & finally I had to wait and flag someone down for my tab. Again, the food was sooo good.
I had a very nice lunch here. Service was great & the food came out pretty quick. One of the employees had a killer music playlist going. My kids and I were jamming out. My family stays nearby so this is a great quick lunch option for us when I’m visiting. I will say they don’t have a great selection for picky kids like mine (no chicken tenders, nuggets, etc.) but we still made it work. I’ll definitely be back!
Went there with my wife and daughter and her roommate. We went for brunch and the menu was perfect so was the atmosphere. I ordered farmers breakfast and my wife and daughter had omletes with their own additions and the roommate had a bagel with smoked salmon... We all agreed that the food was very good. For me the eggs and hanger steak were as expected and I am happy with that. The best thing for me was the fact that they had loose Assam tea which in NY seems to not be an easy thing, (thank you so much for the best cup of tea as a tourist I had in NY). This is a place if you are hungry it is worth going to, you will have a very good meal. Excellent for students and visitors alike... The service was excellent and no complaints there.
Cute cafe with really nice employees and good coffee. Their sandwiches are also pretty good. Sadly their pastries are HORRIBLE! It is really disappointing because they look fine but taste bad and have horrible texture.
Cute interior, and rare to find indoor breakfast seating in our neighborhood. I've tried three times to like it, but the food has been under-seasoned, disappointing each time. Staff members seem overwhelmed and negative as well. Hope they can work out their kinks soon!
Choice is a Brooklyn establishment! Been around for over 10 yrs and been one of the best cafes in the area. However ever since pandemic it’s been hit and miss. Their pastries are sometimes good sometimes stale. Today I saw the guy struggling to cut my lemon poppy loaf... I didn’t say anything but maybe they should remove something so stale and hard from the counter! I think their pastry selection is smaller than pre-pandemic but still items sit on the counter for too long in seems. Had similar experience with my coffee. Please know that this review comes from a place of love as I want to be excited every time I come into my cafe not disappointed. I’ll still give it a chance but not sure for how many more month… please please improve! I want to love you and come there for another 10 yrs!
EDIT: Ive now tried more things on the menu and I can no longer give it 5 stars. ALL of the baked goods are bad. Don’t be fooled by appearance. They all look amazing but seriously disappoint. The coffee is also a major letdown. Expensive cold brew that is very watered down, bad espresso. If you’re going to come, just get a sandwich. I’ve been coming here regularly since moving to the neighborhood and everything I’ve tried here has been amazing! The sandwiches are all incredible — really fresh ingredients and great bread. Highly recommend the BLT and chicken panini.
Let me start by saying that the food is great — when your order is right. From breakfast sandwiches to omelettes to lunch sandwiches, it’s all tasty. You’re just left wondering if you’ll get what you ordered. This doesn’t stop me from going back, again because the food is great and the people are friendly.
This is a tough review because I feel really bad for the waitress. She was running the whole restaurant (at full capacity) by herself! The owners/management need to do better here. In terms of the food, it was alright. Nothing special. I’m not sure if it was a mistake or on purpose, but the food was really herby. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and the turkey BLT. The chorizo breakfast burrito was not good, with stringy cheese and lettuce (who puts lettuce in a breakfast burrito?). The chorizo was also lacking in flavor. The BLT was good, the cranberry chutney was a great addition. The turkey was juicy and the sandwich overall had a good bite to it. I was surprised to see bones in the bacon, but not much to say about that.
You know I wanna like it more than I actually do. It’s like the nuts-4-nuts carts; they smell better than they actually taste. Lots of places in this neighborhood are similar- it’s cute, vibes are nice, it’s local, but the food and price you pay are not quite worth it all, especially if you’re not as well-off.
Not a good experience. Curious if I am the only one that have had something like this happened. I ordered on Saturday August 14th an order of over $50 for pick up thought their online service managed by Toast. When I arrived home and started eating with my family the sandwich, lentils and sweet potatoes were totally fine. But I noticed that the "fresh" grilled tuna fish in the salad did not taste fresh. It was fizzy and extra potent in flavor. My husband tried it and found the same taste and we deemed it inedible. I called the restaurant to let them know. I was told that I was the only person that had complained about the fish. I was glad for others but not feeling heard or, frankly, believed. They asked me to come back for them to change it. I explained that I was home, meaning a $50 taxi ride away (there and back) and that it was incidental that I was in their neighborhood. Basically I am not around that neighborhood ever so I would prefer to get the cost of the fish -not the salad- refunded. The rest of the order was totally fine. Unfortunately I was met with a NO REFUND FOR YOU. That the best I could do is to come with my recently acquired fish and to also show the receipt in person. I was perplexed since it was all ordered online and readily available if they really wanted to find it. From personal experience, to issue a refund -partial or total- in these digital platforms is very easy. Since our conversation went nowhere I mentioned to the person that my only option left was to dispute the credit card charge, which I completely found unfair to them and to me. Why take unnecessary time and energy from both parties for something easily solvable? Furthermore, after the phone call I took the time to email them directly and explain the situation. That I would prefer for this to be solved between us without involving anyone else to which I have not had a response after 10 days. So the claim is going..... I was very disappointed because: -I felt not heard, nor believed -There was no interest in figuring out a solution other than one that would suit them, considering that I live far from them -Digital platforms are user friendly and changes in orders possible -Having no response to a direct email after 10 days is disregarding. If you order from them, I hope none of you have a similar experience.
Was food poisoned by eating a pulled pork sandwich. Restaurant didn’t want to refund me. I was extremely sick and couldn’t move for a day due to being in pain, lots of throwing up, purging… I used to order almost everyday because i trusted the restaurant to provide trusted food but after management was a bit rude i refrained. Aside from this experience they were at the top of the list for ordering breakfast/lunch/Dinner.
My breakfast sandwich was so painfully plain. I was very disappointed. The egg was cooked well but there was 0 seasoning! No salt and no pepper! The bun was OK. The chocolate croissant was not fresh (dry and old taste) and was a 100% industrial. $5,5 for a Costco quality chocolate croissant! The type of place that is mostly about presentation and overpriced.
Had a rather unusual experience here recently. I ordered a burger that unfortunately came with cheese and a side of house sauce that was spoiled. I called in to see what if anything could be worked out. To my surprise, I was offered a side of cheese to be included with my next order. There was nothing to be done about the burger that I had with spoiled melted cheese on it. Once the person that I spoke with over the phone quickly mentioned food costs, stating that a slice of cheese is only cents, I couldn't continue the call. If a slice of cheese is so cheap, there should be no excuse in serving one thats spoiled. I can say this was an isolated incident but frustrating nonetheless.
Slow service for deli style. Turkey Club tastes weird… something off
Went back to get breakfast today. Been a few times and it was delicious. Today was rough. First they forgot about our order and seemed irritated I asked after waiting 20+ minutes for an omelet, then they brought me the wrong order, forgot components and it was over-cooked. Bummed but probably will not come back. The price is good for the portions.
I’ve been to choice many times and enjoyed their take out and indoor eating. Unfortunately, I wanted to try something new and that was a big mistake. I ordered the onion rings and sweet potato fries and it wasn’t good at all. The onion rings were wrapped with thick dough which was soggy and the fries were also limp and soggy. After a few bites I had to throw it out and wasted $12. I can understand if I let it sit in the container for a bit but I didn’t. I ordered it to go to eat right away and I was so disappointed. I wish I had the time to return it but couldn’t. I hope I just got a bad batch and no one else experience this.
I use to enjoy coming to this place when it originally opened. The atmosphere was vibrant and the food was awesome. That has unfortunately come to an end. The food is no longer good and the staff is even worse. The majority of the staff that handles orders are unkind and clearly racist. And it needs to be said. Whoever the owner is of this establishment, should seriously consider the fact that a great deal of its patrons are African Americans and we deserve some respect like everyone else. And regardless of color, everyone deserves a chicken kabob that doesn’t taste like raw chicken with onions and peppers. Will never eat here again and that’s sad. There is one staff member who clearly has a problem serving African American customers and he should be removed.
Got a salmon bagel and got super sick from it. Texted the store to let them know and never heard back. It’s a shame because waiters were nice.
We have been going to this place for last 12 years but had an unpleasant experience tonight. We walked in around 7:30 pm and ordered our food to eat in. We were never told that they will be closing at 8. At 7:50 we were served and the counter girl told us we have to leave because they are closing at 8. I asked her since we are already here and ordered can we finish the food? She said No. Then why didn’t she tell us while talking the order?? If I knew I couldn’t sit then I wouldn’t order. And the food quality has significantly deteriorated. The burger was very dry, and the fries was extremely soggy. It seemed it was old.
