Local favorite spot! I usually order takeout or delivery, but this time I dined in and it did not disappoint. The food is always amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area you might be pleasantly surprised!

I’ve been counting her for 10+ years, Quality of the food has NEVER changed. You get six enormous wontons and the braised beef stew is tender and flavorful. Wontons full of shrimp and pork. So worth the price. Try it! You won’t be sorry.

Well I had to update the review due to price increases. Still the best bowl of wonton noodle soup can be had for $9. This place is close to the D train and the B1. Only about 8 tables this small joint has a great number of menu items not traditionally seen in a noodle joint. The owner is mostly there every shift to make sure the quality is on point and it still is after nearly a decade on the scene. My faves are the house wonton noodle soup and the curry soups. Pretty affordable as most dishes are less than $20

I moved out of Brooklyn 8 years ago, and whenever I can go back I always miss the food in Duck Wong, the chef’s talent is beyond amazing and their staff is so attentive, not only you going to enjoy the comfort food here you definitely get treated with love 👌 Must try their curry pork chop or curry chicken on fry rice 😋 And one of the side dish that I absolutely enjoy is the pickle, bitter melon squash. 凉拌苦瓜This is a dish that I won’t be able to make it at home and it’s so refreshing and crunchy and garlicky, maybe not on first date 😂 but is a must !

We’ve been coming here for years and it always hits the spot. My normal go-to dishes are the jaja meat sauce fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, or the goo lo pineapple pork. My bf always likes ordering the curry chicken fried rice. This spot is affordable, delicious, and quick. Highly recommend!

Really tasty food. 😋 👍The fried rice had a lot of wok-chi! The shrimp walnut isn't like the typical shrimp walnut dish from most Chinese restaurants. Shrimps are smaller and less mayo as you can see from the picture (middle dish). All orders overall came out tasting really good.

Very nice quiet family restaurant, and they have take out. Food so nice and fresh. Best Asian food I've had to date.

I dined in. :) Had general tso and sweet and sour chicken. Really delicious! General tso chicken was a bit sweeter than I expected, it really comes down to your preference. Update Aug 2022: I forgot mention, they make their own hot oil and it's great! The salt and pepper dishes are yummy! The curry fish balls are really good, but be if you get the curry ramen, becareful because the flavor is a bit watered down, but still not bad. I think this place is a decent Chinese restaurant since you don't see a lot of these dishes in your typical Chinese corner places. If the owner makes this resturant have halal options, then they definitely would make even more money since the area also has a lot Muslims and no good decent halal authentic chinese restaurants.

Duck Wong is an amazing hidden gem. I’ve been coming here for almost 3 years now, and not once have their customer service & cuisine failed me. I’ve ordered for both dine-in & takeout countless times. From their jiajia noodles, to their kyoto ribs, to their wonton noodles, everything is outstanding. Plus, they open earlier than most other restaurants in the neighborhood. As I type this review, I’m about to head over right now 🤩🙏

What a hidden gem! Best Wonton in town!!! The freshness and texture just reminded me of my childhood.Definitely will come back again!! But the curry chicken with fried rice was too dry and bland,it just not for me. I didn’t enjoy it.

Cheap eatery in town. Their recommended won ton noodle soup is a good portion, has al dented noodles and 5 large wontons - best of all only $5. Most dishes are around $10. Free Chinese tea provided. Food was made pretty quickly. Overall, good place for a quick bite.

Great food, great service! The wonton noodles soup tastes just like Hong Kong’s! Curry fish ball is good for me, but some people might think it’s not spicy enough. Fried chicken wing is crispy and juicy. Duck is flavorful, soft and tasty.

Craving Hong Kong style Cantonese cuisine in an authentic environment? Look no further. This place was legit! I live in Manhattan and I'd gladly make the trip again! It's well cooked, fresh, and very affordable!

Tried a variety of dishes. The udon bowl was special and tasty with mayo shrimp, only downside was it was a little smaller. The curry brisket noodles were also tasty. The waiter kept coming over to refill our hot teas which was kind of them as well

Food is average. Price is reasonable. Here is the most recent menu.

AFFORDABLE. So so so affordable, I got a curry based noodle (right) and it was only $12, the one on the left was a regular braised beef noodle for $10. The curry broth was so flavorful and my little brother had the one on the left and he finished it all, he even drank all the broth as well. We got 5 items in total and I believe the total came out to about $50-$60. The only downside I would mention is that left one had more meat whereas the curry barely had any meat, just fat or collagen. Same goes for the fried chicken poppers, there was barely any meat, just the fried batter around it, it tasted more like oil than chicken.

Overpriced for some of the main dishes that don't come with rice (unless you order $2 rice bowls separately which I don't recommend). But they're good tasting.

Had the fish filet congee here. Nice unique twist to a classic where they garnish bonito flakes over the dish. Salt and pepper wings were good as well. Service was quick, overall clean restaurant.

I ordered through Grub hub since I was looking for something to eat. I got the braised duck, and mushroom rice set. I’ll be honest, everything tasted the same. There was no real complexity to the flavors. All I tasted was sour and tangy. The braised duck didn’t taste like anything but sour and maybe a hint of soy sauce. The mushrooms were probably my favorite part of my meal but even they were enough to justify the $43 dollars I spent with grubhub for the food. The rice was hard like it was left out and they heated it in the microwave. The soup was so sour. I couldn’t even eat it. In the end, I felt like I wasted my money. But I learned my lesson. I picked a place I wasn’t familiar with. I’m happy I discovered it. I just know not to order from there.

Come here for the wonton noodles and prices have doubled in the last 3 years. There's cheaper spots in the area but my friend likes their pork liver watercress congee (which came out lukewarm) usually won't leave a review but decided to splurge and try out some of the assorted braised beef innards. Only ate one of each to try and got the rest to go because I over ordered. Waitress asked if I wanted her to pack or if I should (I had asked for a box to takeout & I said she can pack) | was then asked if I wanted the vegetables in the dish (made up 60-70% of the dish) and I said yes, I love vegetables. Went to the restroom and saw the leftover plate had over half the vegetables still on it so I checked the takeout box (only 75% full) considering how I requested the dish to be packed for takeout I want the whole order, not half. I attached the takeout picture and you can see there's only vegetables covering half of the bottom. Even if it didn't fit in one container I believe she should ve portioned it into 2, but there is obviously enough room. The dish was $22 and cost the price of 2 regular dishes but the portion amount was very disappointing and don't think I'll be back.

The soup we ordered had tiny flies floating in it, and I even found two beetles. Guys, please be careful in your kitchen. Mosquitoes, beetles, cockroaches, and flies this delicacy is definitely an acquired taste. I did not enjoy it. Thank you!
