Halal Xpress Asian Fusion Brooklyn Reviews
The go-to place to meet your chinese food cravings. I always get the chicken with broccoli- you can’t ever go wrong with that! Their Thai milk tea is also great! My Family and I order a big meal almost every month or every other month from here.
Everything good but kid named ishtiaq hossain had been a bit rude to me and my friends but he gave me a compliment so i liked him and the food is extremely delicious i was js joking ishtiaq don’t kill me with your bb gun
This place is legit in every angle. I love their food, it’s so yummy delicious. The portions are just perfect too, you get your money worth definitely. They have amazing boba drinks too. I would eat here everyday.
Absolutely outstanding by all standards. I found this restaurant thanks to yelp users. The portions satisfy hunger and the salad tasted newly made. Their employees ensured I felt acknowledged and responded to questions with energy. I'll return without hesitation, impressive food.
4th Avenue famous Chinese restaurant "No Pork" has moved here! Excellent food. A must try for everyone. In person menue is much richer than their online menue. Also you get to ask for their home made sauce if you visit in person. My regular Chinese restaurant from now on!
Halal express Asian fusion is located at a quick walk from 79th St D subway station. As the name suggests they serve halal Chinese food, which is unique to this place. They serve teriyaki, friend items, and french fries. Attracts a lot of people who eat halal type food. Must try for ppl interested in halal, it's different from Indian and Persian cuisine.
Yummy food, I am very picky about food. But their food were delicious. On top of that I cant believe its halal. Finally found a good halal chinese spot. So happy. The mongolian chicken was so yummy with perfect spice. Fried rice was good as well. Also they have good bubble tea. A Must try spot.
They need to start using credit card we all know the concept of accepting only cash however they make enough revenue to think that way also comparing to halal Chinese takeout around them they are not cheap.
The food was okay overall. The mango green tea with boba was tasty, and the sesame chicken was delicious. I felt the egg fried rice was a bit overpriced and slightly undercooked, which affected the overall experience. However, the chicken dumplings were exceptional and definitely a highlight of the meal.
The meat is clearly higher quality than other American Chinese food places since it is halal. However for the price it is still not worth it for certain items. While some items are priced on point and taste great others are great but priced completely inconsistently and incorrectly. A great example are the crab rangoons. Great, but clearly fried from frozen and $8 for 8 tiny rangoons? The same cost is for 4 wings plus fries. Or a small dish with complimentary rice (fried rice is not good, get the plain). So yeah, overall a huge upgrade from your average American Chinese but still not locked in enough in regard to price or being consistent. Thanks though. I love close and will definitely be back once in a while when the craving hits.
Ok so mixed review. The food is delicious but I did find a metal piece in my food (from those metal dish washing scrubbers). The beef seemed kinda old. Also they only take cash and currently have NO seating only takeout. The drinks were absolutely great tho definitely recommend. I might’ve been the unlucky customer hopefully you don’t get that in your food.
Good food but bad service extremely bad waiter kid named hossain was not really listening, people complaining, bathroom was not as clean as people say.
It is Sunday 10/19 at 5:00 pm. A new lady took order. She was rude and got order wrong. I ordered mild wings which she repeated and sounded agitated but wings were very spicy. I asked for plates, she gave but showed total unhappiness and spoke to a fellow lady in a different language which clearly was gave me impression that she was talking about me. I asked for red sauce, she wasn't happy. I have been going there for years and saw this lady the very first time. However, other employees have always been nice.
We really wanted to like this place. Nice decor and clean bathroom. Ordered different dishes based off their recommendations. Popcorn chicken, refried many times. General tsos chicken soggy. Mongolian beef minimal meat and had remnants of fried noodles included? Buffalo wings was revolting and disrespectful to the name. More like Hot sauce packet drenched soggy over salted refried chicken. Rancid oil fried rice. Absolutely disgusting. Waste of money and will never return.
Ordering from Halal Express on a lazy, rainy Friday evening, I was not expecting to be tumbled head over heels into the world of the metaphysical, asking myself Which came first? The chicken or the ball full of dough? As I toss and turn tonight, trying to find the answer, I ask if this question has kept others awake as well?
