HealHaus Cafe Brooklyn Reviews
As a yoga instructor, I love trying new yoga studios. I was so excited to try HealHaus!! Small but very cute yoga studio and café. Had a lovely energizing 8:30am class with Sade. Looking forward to trying more of their offerings.
Had a beautiful meditation session in a small intimate session. Also had an amazing tumeric drink after. I will definitely return. Also very affordable!
loved the reiki meditation class & vinhatha flow with kevin lamb. he brought a really welcoming and supportive attitude and really made the space. the main class room is beautiful. although i am not new to reiki, it was my first time with a “vinhatha flow” yoga, and i was worried i wouldn’t be able to keep up. one of the first things he said was “if all you do tonight is breathe, and really focus on your breathing, know you are practicing yoga completely”. thank you for teaching, kevin.
Amanda is such a great patient instructor! The studio was very clean and inviting. ❤️
My new therapist is part of the team at Heal Haus. She is friendly, warm, inviting, and most importantly, I feel like I can really trust her. Her background in DBT, CBT, and other types of talk therapy has been extremely valuable. I have issues with my pelvic floor and a variety of unconscious physical responses to trauma, and she helped me find a really helpful physical therapist.
I love it here I just wish they didn’t use so much plastic. I’m always surprised cause it seems so at odds with their ethics.
I have had nothing but great experiences here. I think it’s amazing to have a space with like-minded people who are focused on healing and wellness. Also there like a one-stop shop for everything, from yoga, to therapy, to massages.
Good vibes! I had their yummy Zen tea. I will be back for classes and a massage.
This place’s existence is medicine. Such great classes, amazing vibe always. Grateful to be plugging into this space.
The yoga class was amazing and the cafe at the front has such healthy delicious options. I love Healhaus!
Heal Haus just made me a green smoothie and root coffee that are *changing my outlook on the world* today. Officially the most delicious cafe in the neighborhood.
The space, the people, the energy truly make it a HEAL HAUS! The programming is so diverse there is something for everyone, wherever they find themselves on their journey. It's in the community FOR the community! If I could, I would give it way more than just 4 stars! ******
I took a 9am yoga class and Linda was an amazing and attentive instructor. The music was great. Afterwards I had one of their smoothies at the cafe which was delicious. The vibe feels like home. This will be be my new neighbourhood studio for sure!
Such a beautiful space! It’s a great addition to the neighborhood. I had an excellent vinyasa flow with Linda and I’m excited to spend time in the cafe and try all their elixirs and smoothies.
The new face of wellness in Brooklyn just so happens to be situated in Bed-Stuy, seconds away from the C train Franklin Ave stop. I have taken a mix of yoga and meditation at HealHaus and love everything about my experience: the instructors (healers), owners, cafe staff are all A1. Can't wait to explore their backyard during the summers months!
Very quaint little studio. Love the setup and vibe. Cafe is nice touch.
overall wonderful space. I really loved Kemetic Yoga and i loved the yoga class with Linda Lopes/Lopez? And another really good vinyasa flow, i foget the instructors name. There was a situation where a class wasn't started because an instructor was sick and even though we couldn't take the class that day HealHaus compensated perfectly. The only thing I would say is there is a woman there, idk if she is a manager or a check in person but her attitude/vibe is awful. The only reason I didn't give five stars. She seems very irritated when interacting with newcomers, but really sweet and fraternizing with regulars. Very uncomfortable. Other than that, great POC centered space. I'd consider getting a membership if i could work around having to interact with that employee.
I wish the check in/management lady had a more sensitive attitude- I just came out from a meditation and it was very unraveling. Energy travels and fill rooms, it affects the full experience. Not as nurturing as I thought it could be. None the less, I am grateful to be with healing minds. The backyard patio is very nice.
Im rating the customer service I received. The staff member I spoke with on the phone was extremely unkind, irritated and impatient. From the beginning they would not take the time to listen, and made me feel as though I what I was saying didn’t matter (we spoke for not even 2 minutes). Maybe going in person would be better.
I guess they don’t have a huge online presence even though they offer that option. I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone for two weeks now and no one ever answers the phone (tried several times) and it takes follow-ups by email to get any type of response…and yes I checked my spam folder. So disappointed because I really love their class offerings.
